I called this location 25 minutes before the supposable closing time. They told me they were already closed and couldn’t help me. So I drove over to do a drop off and self check out and when I got there they were actually opened and came right out and took care of the delivery. The place Was fine once I got there but that over the phone service was horrible

Clean the truck, there was dog food and garbage in the back. We had to clean it before we used it.

We were never asked for how long we needed the truck (we needed one day to load and one to unload, so we were charged more, which we were not expecting. The people at the Depoe Bay location were very helpful and nice, otherwise.

I recommend not gouging customers. I paid over $2,000 from Lincoln CA to Lincoln City Or. A reverse trip was only $540. I don't care what your reasoning about inventory. This was price gouging.

The truck was dirty on the inside the uhaul agent did not inspect the vehicle with me he handed me a inspect sheet and told me to check the fuel and mileage

I pre reserved a RT for pickup in South Beach, OR dealer for pickup on Thursday 04, at 16:45. Apparently the owner of the dealership had taken the trailer to Bend OR without regard to checking his computer for it already being reserved (86077321). From what associates mentioned he used it for personal purposes. This put me in a very challenging situation, because I had to move 3 large motorcycles that evening, taking about an hour to trip them individually each trip. Manager as he told me he was, wanted to get out of store, and made me feel like he was doing me a favor by sticking around when their closing hours were 5p.m., because he had plans. This individual also presented an odor of beer/alcohol. I told him he was the manger and that it was his responsibility, one because he is the one I reserved it from days before. This William was attempting to get me to rent a large rental truck, telling me that the ramp was able to hold 900 pounds. I did not feel comfortable running 2 of these bikes up the ramp, nor seeing any sufficient tie downs in the floor. He even asked me if a regular van would work? I asked him how do I get a large cruiser/muscle bike in one of those, not to mention a firearm safe? Another employee came over and helped resolve by contacting traffic in Corvallis/Eugene to find another RT. They told me I could drive up to Depoe Bay, which was 2 hours out of my way picking up and dropping off on Saturday, along with additional 44 miles driving. Two women there did a good job setting me up and one gave a credit of $50.00 which I ended up using, because I was having to keep the trailer Saturday, because we did not get everything moved Friday, because I would have had to get the trailer back by 5 p.m., in South Beach on Friday. They are closed at 2 p.m. on Saturday, so i took the RT up to Depoe Bay to be assured that the transaction was complete. Moving is already a challenge that many times is designed around being logistical. This was not a peaceful or confident experience on Thursday. The owner should be very conscious of his customers, when credibility is on a greater scale of such a large company as U-Haul. I do not believe I will ever return to do business with South Beach U-haul, nor express any reference to friends, family, and clients. Will S.
