The whole process was easy. The owners communicated the whole process of pick-up/return and expectations very clearly and were just really professional and nice people to talk to. The process was quick and we had no additional questions or any concerns. We would definitely recommend this location and people to anyone needing a rental truck.

After spending an entire day moving in rain, sleet, snow, and hail the last thing I needed was for your truckshare site and app to not work for me. Spending 15 minutes on hold for a 24/7 service is BS.

The inside of the truck was dirty. Unfortunately I started to fill up the truck Monday night when I receive that Monday morning because I had to pack in a hurry so I didn’t start selling the truck until the evening. There’s a huge hole in the corner on the driver side and a whole bunch of water came in and saturated our couch, bed frame and numerous boxes containing irreplaceable items, such as family, photo, albums, etc. i’m on happy overall with the service as I’ve used U-Haul before and have not had situations like this before. Had a proper safety inspection been done on the vehicle prior to me picking it up, this would’ve been avoided. And that information was not received well by the owner of you all of this company. I’ve dealt with them before and they were pleasant and kind. This time around, I was treated with hostility in the beginning, which wasn’t great, considering I was extremely upset at all of her things got destroyed. Towards the end of the conversation, we managed to sort it out after things calm down a little bit, and I was told to make an insurance claim. From the inside of the truck, you can see the sky through the hole on the driver side corner in the mother area of the truck. But I started filling up the truck in the day. I would’ve seen that the truck was damaged. And the worst part of all we put our most valuable breakables in this area to protect it from getting crushed from other things in the truck and everything got ruined anyways. I am disappointed and upset. We have gone through a lot getting evicted from our home, because black mould was found in our place and this experience. Great everything far worse than could’ve been handled way better. I’m not happy.

I struggled to order a proper trailer. Initially I was directed to a location /cooms/ about 50 km away. After talking to agent they sent me here. Not close. They told me there was only larger trailer available. When I got there there were numerous of the size I needed. U haul resrvation system was a total waste of my time and when I did get an agent he was a waste of time. Next time I will avoid on line and will try to call locally. The two local agents wouldn’t pick up their phone after numerous times. I can only assume you are losing business because of your lack of human intervention!

About the vehicle we borrowed; the steering was very loose and the brakes were super sticky. I would highly reccomend a major tune up for that vehicle. Other than that, the interior of the cab was clean. The seat belt casing on the driver's side was damaged prior to us using it.

I have never had a better experience with uHaul than with the South Wellington location. All locations should learn feom them. Their customer service is incredible and they are friendly, happy people. 11 out of 10!

My experience with UHAUL was incredible. The staff went over and above to assist and ensure that I had everything I needed for my move. A huge shout out to Marlene, who basically held my hand through this stressful move. She definitely took the stress from 100% to about 10%. I highly, HIGHLY recommend these folks to help with any move - big or small!! Would absolutely use them again! They're awesome!!

Check engine light was on which made for a very nerve wracking drive from Nanaimo to Campbell River. Did not appreciate that the fuel take wasn't at full; make it more difficult to know how much gas it needed when refilling (plus had to do it in Campbell River where gas was more expensive because there wasn't enough to get back to town).

The vehicle was very rough, and had a lot of squeaks and groans. You must remember a padlock to lock the sliding door at the rear of the truck.

My problem came with the reservation system. I reserved a truck in Port Moody. I was traveling to pick up location from Gabriola island to Vancouver Island to Vancouver to Port Moody through the ferry system the day before pickup, only to get a call half way through my journey saying no trucks available in Lower Mainland. So I had to now pick up a truck in Nanaimo, drive in onto the ferry spending several hundred dollars more as before it was only a one way rental now I had to go both ways and pay for that. I wish when I made the reservation I was told no trucks available so I could plan accordingly.

This drop off spot is always wonderful. Very helpful staff, easy and convenient drop off. I’d personally send staff members from other UHAUL locations here to train because they seem to actually care about their jobs and the customers.

I was told that I could leave or wait for the mileage and fuel to be verified. I choose to have everything verified and thanks to the excellent service I received from the UHaul "Scheduling" department the allotted mileage covered my journey. The staff in Nanaimo verified there were no other charges to come and I was quickly on my way. More over the personnel were friendly and engaging which is way more than may be said of the Calgary personnel.

I did not end up needing a storage locker and cancelled it. Booking the unit was confusing because the U-Haul app said I qualified for a free month but it still showed that I would have to pay.

I didn't put my lock on properly and anyone could of got into my storage unit, I was so happy to get a call from the office, the guy told me he does a walk around and checks all the units so thank God for him calling me!

Tammy and Mark, owners were always helpful. There was one weekend person for a few years who was not particularly helpful or knowledgeable - hard to get good help sometimes! In general we had a positive experience at this facility and our locker location and the facility location was very convenient for delivery. We would not hesitate to recommend Nanaimo Mini Storage.

The owners, Mark and Tammy, were awesome to deal with! The unit was very clean as was the entire facility. We moved out a week after our monthly renewal charge occurred and there was no problem at all getting a refund for the 3 weeks we didn’t need the unit! We would absolutely recommend Nanaimo Mini Storage!

The reason why I wouldn't recommend this buisness to anyone , is because of 1 specific employee. The older man with I think a slight Australian accent. He was Always very rude and a bit condescending to me anytime I spoke with him by phone. He is the sole reason I closed and moved my unit, after the last phone conversation with the him regarding me trying to empty my unit. The rest of the staff, especially the older lady who worked at the computer in store. She is honestly the only reason I continued to use the unit until I closed the account and moved my stuff to another storage company!!!

Everything was wonderful. There was a situation that someone moved into my unit in error and the admin were very apologetic quick at fixing the issue. Very Satisfied. Only complain I would say is my door in my unit sticks and one of the maintenance fellows said they would fix it but they did not, this might not have been much of an issue for others but I struggled as I recently had hand surgery. It was BIT of an inconvenience but other than that was an awesome experience Thank You!! Great company Great Service!!
