Charged to much for a rental then took the rest of my money that was owed back to me then charged me for my then retail prices for gas
Sara DeatonThe steering wheel was not straight it made me nervous to drive it because it was so crooked. The heat did not work at all so I was freezing. The lock box was really hard to open. I would not rent from this location again.

He was awesome, the truck was super clean and well cared for. I was nervous because I'm not from that area but he was super welcoming and super helpful. Highly recommend that experience.
MATTHEW VALDOVINOSTruck that I rented was a 15 ft. When I showed up it was blocked in so I had to call and get them to give me the keys to a new truck. The only others they had at this location were 10 ft. so it took me way longer to move.

This location was very odd on where to park and where to get the key from the key box. Also the truck was very dirty on the inside and has not been cleaned. Overall, I had a not great experience with this uhaul trip and I was disappointed.
Richard BoyersIf you charge the person the 1st time and you needed to charge them again don't wait whole week to go by and then charge them that's not fair to the person and you want ppl to come rent from you you don't want a bad review on that
tawana carterAttendant was 18 minutes late, seemed to have no idea what he was doing, had no record of my reservation, had to finally talk to someone over the phone to redo my reservation. Total wait time was about 45 minutes and I was the only one there. Was late for my pick up!

dillard groomsThe owner of the U-Haul shop was not available. I had to open up a lock box to get the key to the U-Haul truck. Had issues with the lock box and also had multiple people try to open the lockbox which they had trouble doing also. This caused me to be 45 minutes late. After getting the key to the U-Haul truck, things went well.

aundre brownThe check engine light was on. The Uhaul was checked in with keys in the mailbox and was never looked at before being checked out to me. The owner was nice enough, but the truck cab was dirty and I felt a little uncomfortable driving with the check engine light on.
CONSTANCE BRENNEMANLocation is owned by a Smoke Shop, so the weeder owner never opened the door for me to get the keys, stood outside for about 30-40 mins calling the number the owner posted on the door, as the store was supposedly open, OPEN sign outside was on, lights were on, so Im assuming he was in the back stoned or something. NOT a reliable location for Pick.Up at all. called about 30 times, not one answered, and voicemail was full. Eventually the owner of the store next door was able to open store to give me the keys. still awful experience. At one point I had already given up since noone was answering, called an Uber to pick me back up and take me home again, when later store was opened by next door store owner. Had to pay about 7USD cancellation fee from Uber.... someone might expect this to be reimbursed by Uhaul from the experience at least... one might think.
Juan HerreraI would not have this location as a approved pick up or drop off. There was no one there, waited over a hour for someone to show up just for one of the workers to call the manager and he walked her through over the phone how to check in. There's a sign on the door to call if the door is locked and no one ever answered it. There was a option to leave the key in the drop box but that would have a fee just because no one was there. A horrible experience after a long moving day.
Michael EmmerichIt would be nice if your only renting a vehicle for a few hours, being able to leave your car parked in the lot would be great. I understand the liability issues but it’s something I’d improve.

Robert SchrichteScheduled for a 9 am pick up. Called to verify the day before and spoke to an online representative Named dawn who was very helpful. She said the key was not left so earliest pick up would be at 10 am. No one was at the pick up location at 10. For a text that the wifi was out. Not sure how someone would know that if they weren’t there. “Employees brother” was dropped off at 10:50 am to help us so we were two hours late for our college drop off window in Lexington. The brother took a photo of our license on his phone which made me very comfortable. Unprofessional. I was told I would get a partial refund $50 by Dawn. That also was not the case. We were charged full price. Please advise.

Peter Daus-HaberleI have scheduled a 7 AM pick up because I needed to pack up my daughter and drive her about 500 miles away and we had a very tight timeline based on when we had to get out of her old apartment when we could get into her new apartment. When I arrived on site I followed your instructions perfectly and received a message that my truck was not ready for pick up and that I would have to wait until the store opens at 10 AM mind you it was 6:15am when I arrived on site to start the process for 6:30 pick up for my scheduled 7 AM appointment. When I was unable to pick up my truck I waited on the phone for 45 minutes until one of your representatives picked up and I spoke with a very lovely lady who tried her best to help me but unfortunately told me I needed to wait 4 hours until the shop owner arrived because they didn’t properly check the truck in the night before even though it was turned in on time they had the keys locked in their office and not out in the lockboxes as they were supposed to. It wasn’t until 10:35am that somebody showed up couldn’t give a crap less that he was now not only holding me up but about 10 other people who had early appointments. My truck hadn’t even been inspected or cleaned but I was now 4 hours late and told him I just needed to take it as is which I did. Truck was filthy, dead bugs all over the windshield, really gross. I have rented from you guys on occasion for the last 30 years and this by far was the most horrific experience I’ve ever gone through with you. The complete lack of caring at all or even doing their job at my pickup location was absurd. I would never recommend this site for anyone or anything.

Antonio CookThey didn't have the truck size I reserved. I should have been notified. The clerk said it had been returned TWO days before my reservation and was dirty and they hadn't cleaned it yet. I was given a bigger truck for the same price but the check engine light was on, it was almost out of gas, the AC didn't work (I wasn't told this before I drove it off the lot - it was 90 degrees that day) and the mirrors could not be adjusted. I returned the truck (after closing) with more gas in it (I have photos) than when I took it out. I received my final charges and the milage was off by a lot. I have talked to a person named Chaquis and she said she adjusted the final charges and issued me a credit of $33.00 but when I called to pay the final charges had not been adjusted. To this day, I still owe some money but can't get anyone to answer when I call (hold time is over 2 hours) and no one replies to my dispute. Have never had such a terrible experience with uhaul after many years of renting from you.

Esra OzCetindereThe location was closed when it was supposed to be open. It is impossible to provide customer service this way. The app also didn’t work to try and do a remote check in. I received terrible service when I called your 800 number! And then you had the nerve to try and charge me for an extra day when I turned the truck in two days earlier than it needed to be. I have another move coming up in August and I will not be using U-Haul. I will also be telling everybody who will listen what an extremely terrible experience this was. This includes all of my social media accounts

Timothy CuthbertThe man at Boost Mobile in Covington, KY on 4/9/2022 around 11:30am did not greet us and simply said that we had to move the truck that we had just parked because, "this is Boost Mobile." We also did not realize until we had dropped the keys in the lockbox that we had to take a picture of the mileage. I wish the man had told us that or a sign was posted near the lockbox explaining the checkout process.
