The vehicle was quite dirty inside. So I would have appreciated if it were cleaned first. The vehicle had a "Change Oil Soon" warning which made me a little uneasy when I was driving. And, there was no van to trade for. There was quite a bit of damage on the vehicle, which did not show up when I did the vehicle inspection process online. All of the pictures made it look like there was no damage, even though there was a fairly deep scratch on the one side, and there was significant scratching on the roof.Aaron G.

Ayush was phenomenal. He was courteous, professional and quick to help with my every need. Great customer service and would definitely recommend to anyone especially when dealing with this young man. It is a confusing spot as it is not a Uhaul store rather a convenience store but Ayush made everything seamless and easy. Will go here again for my next move!Brett S.

There was only one staff since the other one was her first day. It is a busy location so is hard to get help. Got the password to get the key wrong called back and because the notice could not get the proper password had to walk back to get the proper information and is about 4 blocks. It is not much but when you are right on time it really matters. I was told I will get a text allowing us for more time but that did not happen. So because so many delays could not finish my moved. The employee try his best it was just to busy to give any customers a proper service. I will not go back because customers time dose not seem to be important for U-HaulMARCELA N.

This place is a SCAM! Please do not rent from this place. The people were nice, but that was the only positive. 1) The van I rented was parked a block so I wasted time trying to find it while doing the online check-in process. 2) The worst is them claiming that I have damaged the Van and are not trying to charge me an extra $584. I have before and after photos to prove it. I also reported all the previous damages and marks on the van during the check-in process. I also went back to this location after getting the bill and saw the Van parked in the back lot with NO damages. I have taken more photos of the Van to prove it. I have already spoken to U-Haul about it and am now waiting for their management team to call me back. What a pain just to move some stuff from one place to another. once i booked pickup address 5012 smith ave ,burnaby , i went there and did the all the paper work after that they told me i have to go ( driving 1 to 2 mins, walking 5 to 7 mins ) and pick up my truck , they said this is big truck they don't have parking space to park it . And 2nd thing i suppose to get some cardboard free for my rent truck but person said because of covid they don't give anymore but i if i want i can buy from them ( for me doesn't make any sense )SRIYANANDA H.
We accidently left a bag inside the truck when returning. We found out after a couple hours, and went back and told the store that we left our stuff inside the truck. The store staff immediately told us that the truck has been rented out. We did not really believe it because we thought we saw the truck at the back of ther store before we came in. He was very confident about what he said and "appeared to call" the driver who rented the truck. Then he said he will let us know if they found anything (there was no way for us to tell if he really made any call). We then went to the back of the store and found the exact truck we rented, and the bag was right beside the driver's seat. We then went back to the store and told him that the truck was right there and we saw our bag. He then said he must be mistaken and thought it was another truck We do not want to assume why he initially told us the truck was rented out, but will certainly not rent again at this location in the future because this was a very unpleasant renting expreience.Kuo K.
That was the last time that I use uhal .My order automatically canceled and when I was pich up the truck I had to order again until 9 am that somebody answer the phone, after that they change my order to 9:15 and the app did not accept my head shot and I tied several times at last they sent me to another location to do my job physically and the trucked parked on another street and I had to carry two del by myself and at last for drop off the app did not accept the photo of milage and gas screen and i parked truck on that street that I picked up and again I informed that super market that they did my job physically, the truck was dirty and contaminated with dust and soil and I sweeped it. It was awful service and I will never use uhal again and I will follow up this bad service because I had to pay 2 hours wast time to worker.HAMED M.

Pros: the people that run the location are very nice, they try their best to sort the issues and they seem like kind people. Cons: Internet was down so we lost some time waiting, then the truck they gave us was not very clean and it needed â€œa trickâ€ to turn on. They told us to â€œjuggleâ€ the key and after trying multiple times we had to wait for them to come help us and show us how to do it (by this time we had lost an hour). I don't think it's appropriate to have a truck in this condition, trucks should turn on accordingly.Christopher H.

I asked for a one ton truck, I got a 3/4 ton truck. I mentioned it to the guy and hes like oh they're the same, BULLSHIT! I've used U haul everytime I've moved and have always use a one ton truck and it fit everything. Because of this guy and giving me the wrong size truck I had to make 2 trips COSTING ME double the Kim's and more gas. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER, Facebook here I come to tell the world how U haul is a scammerVIKKI L.
Can was filthy including a used mask by previous renter Uhaul location does not have a lot. Storing trucks on busy road ( boundary & Burke ) 2 blocks away. Had to step into heavy traffic to take photos of truck Box was filthy , soy beans everywhere Munchies n things store workers admitted they did not clean it prior to renting it to us Also had less gas than stated ( noted on pre inspection ) Also had graffiti not noted Will not rent from here againBRENT D.

The people who run this shop are fantastic, and the customer service was better than anywhere. The only negative of this location compared to a main location is that the truck was parked a few blocks away, and there was a few extra steps to collect it.
