The guys at the store were friendly enough but the checkout process was slow and they didn't seem overly familiar with the rental equipment (car trailer). They didn't even know the hitch wasn't a 2" ball so they tried installing and then we figured it out and swapped hitches on my friend's truck. Keep in mind this is in Buffalo, NY and you wouldn't want to be fumbling around like this (especially with slow hand crank on trailer) when the weather is poor. By far my biggest issue with this location is the disturbing condition of the parking lot around the building: broken glass, debris, garbage EVERYWHERE! This store is in a very run down area but that's no excuse for the specific business to not clean up their area (lot etc). This is not only a personal concern but also for our tow vehicle and the trailer we picked up. This reflects very poorly on the U-Haul brand and I would not rent from this location again.JOSEPH S.

I returned the truck at this location at 8:39 p.m. on Wednesday, 09/15/2021and handed the key to Mr. Sham who was very disrespectful and verbal assistive. I wouldn't recommend to anyone.ALIMAL M.

Truck wasn't returned by previous renter, [so I didn't have my reserved truck] person who assisted me was helpful, but I was stuck waiting for over 30 minutes to get the one remaining bigger truck. Was rented but apparently some one cancelled, so I got a 15' truck instead of the 10' requested. Cab smelled of Cigarettes. Got charged for 3 gallons of gas, even though they average 10 mpg and I drove a total of 15 miles. Location was fine but getting in touch with UHaul I had a long wait to confirm the location before picking up the truck. Over all satisfied and understand end of the month trucks get limited.DAVIDPETER S.

This is not YAMANINYE BROWN, this is Elizabeth Krohn who's identity was stolen by this idiot. I called this location after I was notified via email that this truck was rented out with my information and they refused to answer my questions. Then I engaged with Uhaul via chat and they said that the wrong email address was simply used. Then I wake up this morning to find that a truck was rented anyway with my information and I received a receipt this morning at 2am that I have a copy of. I would like a call from your corporate office IMMEDIATELY as I will need to begin investigation into identity theft. I'm stunned that Uhaul would even rent a vehicle to someone who used obviously false information - half of which is a mish-mash of two different addresses and an inactive phone number. My reservation was from a different location and I was asked to go far to this location.. and was also asked to drop off at the same location.. very poor.. and that costed me 20 miles extra to just pickup and drop.. also, I filled fuel to whatever I have received but later was charged more saying fuel is less.. don't recommend..rajaneesh K.

Eliminate this location. The truck was not cleaned between customers. The equipment was damaged. I honestly cannot believe that uhaul allows this location to operate. The owners of the store are clearly doing the least amount of work possible with the uhaul rentals. The parking lot was covered with broken bottles. I would never go to this location again.matthew S.
The truck smelt like smoke. I was originally assigned to 1748 Main St, Buffalo, NY for a 8:30pm pick up with the app. That location did not set up the truck properly so I waited an hour to talk to someone. The help line was very helpful and extremely thorough with how to proceed but I wish I could have pick it up at the original location on time instead of an hour and a half later. The new location might have been fine during the day but at 9:30pm, it was very uncomfortable as it was not in a safe feeling area.Alexandra F.
Place is total disaster. Lot looks like a drug den. Garbage everywhere. Broken booze bottles, food wrappers, garbage 1/2 way up whats left of a fence. Guy in charge couldn't boot his computer Check in took forever. Didn't have all the reserved equipment. I had to go to a 2nd location to get what I needed This dealer is working out of the back of a Bodega style store. Extremely sketchy!Bill H.
I ordered materials with my truck. When I arrived at the pickup location I was told their were no more trucks my size. This was understandable but they didn't ask if I had ordered materials so when I went to the new pickup spot of course they had no materials for me. I was running on a tight schedule so I just bought new materials from the new location. Very inconvenient and unprofessional. I had to pay $12 not once but twice for just a few boxes and a roll of tape. Poor experience the people clearly did not care to help me, rather just wanted me to leave!Joseph P.

Not a good location for an after hours dropoff. There is no lockbox, and I was told to leave the key under the passenger seat, with the passenger door unlocked. It took a long time to reach a customer service person, and I was uncomfortable leaving the key in what I considered a sketchy neighborhood.SCOTT L.
