omar gullanWent in to a uhaul store and was redirected to another facility to pick up the uhaul truck. Once I arrived at the destination, I was confused at the location because it was a gas station. Customer service from the employee there was horrible. She was confused and didn’t know what she was doing, and drop off was even worse!! Will never rent from this company again if it’s going to be like this!!!! Horrible service!!!
Beatriz EspinozaI was charged for a dollie/floor dolly and 6 dozen blankets ( all of these items were ordered) but the items were not in the truck when picked up so I got on U-haul live chat and was assured that they would advise this location to remove the charges on the bill.. I get the final bill and yes it is still on there and now I have to wait 72 hrs for U-haul to investigate. Such a hassle to return money that was wrongfully but knowingly charged to my card, Evan after live chat guaranteed the charges to removed.

MAHNAZ ISHTIAQThis place is horrible , disrespect and highly unprofessional. The guy at the counter wad rude and disrespectful. I told him I was here to return my trailer and he said ok drive it out back and disconnect I told the guy no sir I can't disconnected and he should have someone or him to disconnect the trailer he was rude . Told he you can't unhook leave and go somewhere else he doesn't care. I told him oh yeah what is your name he said steven . Which knowing that was not his name. He didn't care to help me with my trailer. I went outside to call corporate and make a complaint. The send some random person and told me the boss will check in your trailer when he has time. No I will return it on my phone and took pics I would not recommend this place at all and had horrible service.

Marlene AlfredI went to go pick up the truck. You can see he has an assistant who is helping get the truck ready. I get home it has a key pad lock on the gate. We can’t open it. My husband calls to ask for the code and they manager tell him he will call back with a code. 20-30 mins later we received two codes…. They don’t work. I’m upset, movers are ready to go. We can’t get the truck open. I call back and complain and he tells me I can return for a refund cause he doesn’t have any other trucks… or we can cut the lock. More upset I call 1800 number I speak with a great representative Quinta… we are on the phone maybe 20-30 mins and she give me the code for the lock and it worked. I have rented with uhaul several times and never had this bad of am experience. If I could do it again I would not rent from this location again.

carlos coreaThis place was a trash pit! I had a drunk man sleeping in the back of the trailer with beer bottles all in the back of it. I had to kick him out. This is a safety and management issue at this location and a liability…I HIGHLY do not recommend this location for pickup.

They talked bad about uhaul corporate and the reservation agents. Never again at this location. Get rid of them two people and that will make things easier

michele mendozaThe U-Haul was sitting by itself in an overgrown field next to a gas station. The U-Haul trailer we picked up was rusted and dirty inside. Upon hooking up the trailer we learned one of the brake and blinker lights did not work. The man who checked us out said we needed to pull it to another U-Haul location as he didn’t keep any supplies. The location he sent us to was not even open to assist. We had to take the trailer back to our place and wait while we called U-Haul customer services.

Kevin RomeroI was taken around the back of a filthy building through trash to look at boxes. He only had small size boxes in a filthy storage facility and no furniture pads. I had to go to another facility at Tidwell to get the boxes and furniture pads. I was shown online originally that the E Little York facility had these items. Had I known in advance I would have used the facility at Tidwell. Also the person at E Little York did not know how to complete my reservation. She had someone on the phone to tell her how so it was very slow and she had me take a picture of the monitor screen because she could not print me a copy of the receipt before I left. The whole process was awkward, cumbersome and felt unsafe. Although the people there were friendly it was not a good experience for me.

It was parked in a mud hole. Then when it came to load up my stuff. There was shit inside the loading area and ramp. I have pictures. The only reason I didn’t return it was because it was 5:30 am the next morning. When I finally realized it was that dirty.
mauro medinaBad experience with a U-Haul authorized location, will not reserve if not official dealer anymore. Gas station provided piece of paper with trailer number, had to trek through an overgrown patch of land after a rain in the mud and bugs to find the trailer and hook it up myself, then had to wait in line for them to come out and take a picture of the hookup so I could leave, no safety check, no light check, if someone shows up not knowing how to properly hitch a trailer it is an accident waiting to happen.

Deisi MoralesThe employees at the U-Haul location made me both load the trailer and unload it myself. They never came out to review the trailer before or after I returned it and refused to give me a receipt when I was done and had returned it. I had to call customer support to notify them it was complete and have them send me a confirmation that it was checked in. Will never use this location again.

Esmeralda MijaresDon't make a reservation. Just go to a location and rent one. I made a reservation for a location close to me. I did this almost two weeks in advance. They didn't have what I wanted at that location the day I reserved it for. So they sent me 10 miles away to get it. Not happy. Why make a reservation to find out they don't have it. Moon Mart was great for a small operation. The people there were GREAT.

LUIS ELIZONDOYou moved my pick up location and did not inform me, then you canceled my reservation because I did not pick up at the new location (which I was never informed of) then when I had to do the entire reservation over again, I was not provided with utility dolly or furniture pads and on top of that it was more expensive on the day I picked up! Horrible experience which threw me off by half a day of loading, which threw me a half of day off in travel as well!
Jeremy AcostaI was guaranteed a truck at 7am went to the site and there was no truck, was sent to another uhaul site over 20 miles away that had absolutely no trucks at their site after being told they had called and confirmed truck was there. I was suppose to have recieve $50 back because the guarentee was not honored and recieved nothing. I do not feel anyone except one person at corporate call center helped me. I think we should be getting $100 back because there were 2 guaranteed failures and did not get a truck until after 11am. Our whole move across texas was derailed and have not heard from anyone concerning this, this is terrible customer service.

JESSICA BREWERThe tires were cracked and equipment was very rusted and dirty. I parked the equipment at home after seeing tires and rented one at home Depot due to time restraints. I advised the owner that his equipment was not street legal and had reported him to department of transportation for risking other motorist and myself.
