I had the worst experiece with this rental. Was on the phone 3 different times with customer service to get a truck. The first truck (the one that I actually had the reservation for) the key was not in the lock box so I could not take it. The lady on the phone was helpful and told me to just take the 15 foot truck that was there. I got into the lock box and they key was there so we hung up. The battery was dead. I waiting another 30 minutes on hold to get in touch with someone else who told me theres nothing they can do for me at that location. They put me in touch with the local schedule person I think is what she was? I had to drive across rockford to get this other box truck. My reservation was at 12:30 and I did not get the other rental until 2:45. I will never use a U-Haul again. I will happily pay extra to hire renters over using this joke of a service. I was told I could either get a "discounted rate" or $50 off of my rental. I said the $50 rental since my move was 2 miles and didnt need that many miles so the discounted rate wouldnt work and I was still charged the same amout I was quoted for using a 20 foot truck when I was given a 15 foot truck that was ALL THE WAY ACROSS ROCKFORD. At the first location where neither trucks were working, the 15 foot truck had trash behind the seat. At the 2nd location that I finally was given a working truck, the truck smelled HEAVILY of weed, I got to my house and opened the door to the back and it a mess. Dirt all over the ground like the last person moved mulch and didnt sweep it out. I was heavily dissapointed in this experience. I have used U-Haul's in the past and never had an issue, but this has pushed me from ever using U-Haul again.
Bryan OWasn't told where to drop off and got charged for it and am not going to pay it due to irresponsible people at the location I got it from. Lady was very rude. I will never go through them ever again nor would I send someone to them.

STEPHANIE TWhen I 1st picked up the truck the lady was very rude when she was helping me and then when I had dropped it off the online app to check out the truck and return it it was not working & I went inside to ask someone for help there was a different lady and she said that I didn't have to do it online I can just give her the key and she would get me checked out and I still haven't received notification that I was checkout like a receipt or proof of anything. Very upset about the over all experience.
HAILEY NThe U-Haul was giving to me empty on gas and the transmission on that U-Haul was slipping. It was not a safe U-Haul to haul things

DAVID SI was charged extra by person behind desk, for my driver smoking when there is no sign on truck to prohibit smoking upon returning the truck. Only sign prohibited smoking in the building not the truck.
CHARLES RMy issue was with the lady on customer service who booked my rental. When I picked up the truck she had reserved the smallest truck which made me have to make multiple trips to and from storage unit causing me to pay more mileage.

SELEMANI LTransmission has a bit of a problem on hills in southern Kentucky and northern tennessee. Other than that everything was good
FRED BReturning the car transport was a breeze. I did mention the uHaul associate that the brakes were terrible.
RAFAEL EThe truck was a piece of junk. I kept getting a warning light that the driver door wasn't closed. I had to slam it for it to close all the way. It drove down the street like I was off-roading. I couldn't drive over 30 mph. I mostly drive 20. I barely returned it on time because of having to drive so slow and how bad the shocks where. I didn't have time to put gas in and didn't know any gas station to this location. Now I'm being charged and extra $20. I want my money back for getting a bad truck. There was 5 other trucks in the front of the lot. She gave me the truck from the back lot.

WILLIAM CI was charged for miles at pick up and was overcharged. They should have never done that.

KEITH RGreat service over all! Fast, friendly and sufficient. I even got reimbursed for none usage of mileage i believe. Would definitely return for future renting needs.

Shemiah SLocation was in a very tight quartered area which made it difficult to get to the trailer and pull it out of the storage area.
DONALD LU-Haul customer service is off the charts they treat you with respect and answer every question you have.and if one location doesn’t have what you need they go out their way to find it for you thanks U-Haul.

ROBERT HBest way to improve your service is to not rob your customers. Rented the truck left, they called me 2 miles down the road made me come back and move my car, which I did. Didn't tell me I had to park any certain place. So really shouldn't be charged that 4.00. Then explain how 14 miles you claim I drove results in 5ish gallons of gas for a 30.00 charger. Cost me 71.11 for a 20.00 truck 1 hour and 14 miles... disgusted. I will never used uhaul again I will tell everyone who ever says the word uhaul. That they rob you..and if anyone would like to contact me to make this right fawn.mcgraw@yahoo.com. but that's not likely to happen.

TOMMY SThe truck had transmission issues shifting from first of second and from 2nd to 1st felt like you were being thrown through the windshield. Every time you stopped because of the transmission this facility is trying to overcharge me on gasoline that I already replaced. I put the gas back that I used and they say I did not, this place is a rip off and a poor excuse for a person
ROSE HThey need to be more careful indicating how much fuel is in the truck. We would have been charged an additional $30 if the drop off site wouldn't have called customer service for us.

James MWent to pick up the trailer and nobody was there. After calling several numbers I was told they switched my pick up location. Never received a email , text or phone call. Had to go 30 minutes from my scheduled location to pick it up. Not happy.
DWAYNE AWe were terribly disappointed with this rental and we will never pick-up from this location again. The trailer was absolutely filthy, inside and out. Weeds hanging off the underside of the trailer, mud covered the entire inside and the entire trailer smelled like a wet, dirty pond. We had to take the equipment home and clean the inside ourselves with soap and water before we could load our furniture and belongings. Horrible experience, horrible rental place, horrible customer service. We do not recommend renting from this location.

David JFor one make sure all windshield wipers are working properly so in case someone else gets caught in the storm they don't fear for them and their families life that's with them because one or both has blown clean off because of non- tighten wipers.
Angela KPictures of vehicle during the app check in were not of the vehicle, someone took pictures of inside the store. No confirmation of vehicle condition while checking in. Vehicle was left unlocked on check in. Vehicle was very low on power empty, hard to accelerate and shifted at abnormal high RPMS. Poorly maintained. Vehicle did not sound right under idle or driving conditions.

LAKISHA HThis was not the agreed upon location from the reservation. I received a notice 12 hours before pick up that it would be in this location 15 miles away rather than the one 500 yards from where I was.
Wayne CThe uhaul was terrible, the seat was ripped, the seat got so hot that the back of my shirt was drenched, there was a problem with either the gas gage or the floater in the gas tank if not a small leak. The truck was just not well taken care of or maintained.
