Overall my experience was great! I was just a little disappointed that I tried to call the hotline number an hour and half before my drop off time to ask for a rental extension and I was hung up on. Overall tho I am satisfied. Just wished I could have got that extension.

Horrible customer service. I was asked to go to another location to pick up my truck because the location I requested did not have the truck I asked for. Also I was not given the pads to wrap my furniture at the location, and I had to drive to another location to pick up the pads.

Best U-Haul experience I've had in Rockford. Quick, hassle and haggle free, no nonsense. Pro tip: I did the online advance check-in where I had to upload pics of my DL and sign off on insurance coverage. I think that helps make the whole process run more smoothly. No complaints. Thank you!

Auto transport in very poor shape. Charged for blankets but they were out of them. The appliance dolly looked like it was ran over and operated the same. Truck was dirty. Headlights were horrible and windshield wipers were shot.

Contract stated 3/4 full of fuel but in fact Only has 1/4 of fuel,I walked back inside to report the mistake and was Nicely advised correction will be adjusted to only a 1/4 amount(she did walk out to verify this amount) but refused to correct my in hand copy stating she will correct her office copy-I returned vehicle with 1/4 full but she still charged my bill for them having to add 5 plus gallons($29.00)& now nobody will return my calls..

First of all my pick up was changed with no notification. So I had to drive all the Way across town to pick up a truck. The location I chose was closed not even aware it was. So my mileage I had to pay extra due to the fact I had to go all the way across town to pick up the truck. The location I chose was due to the fact it was where I was located so the mileage would be a little bit lower.Very disappointed that I had to spend money that I really did not have.

The cargo van I rented had only 14k miles on it, and it was immaculately clean, ran beautifully, and got surprisingly good gas mileage (22 mpg fully loaded). It would have been nice to have Bluetooth available, but that is a minor inconvenience. The rental agent was a very nice woman. It is a little confusing where the u-haul office is, and you may want to place better signage or front.

This facility is not really manned by anyone it appears. If Uhauls app actually worked that would not be a problem but the app is terrible. If Uhaul is going contactless then fix the system/app before making this the only choice.

The cargo van and the fleet available were practically brand new. No issues what so ever. Would recommend and definitely return to rent again.

Your manager was top notch. Friendly, efficient, great business promoter. The truck had a tracking problem, "bump-steer". It probable needs one or both tie rod ends replaced. When driving straight at 40mph it veers to the side of the last steering input. When you try to center with opposite steering input, it veers in that direction until you apply opposite correction. It would be a miserable drive on the highway. I advised the same manager when I returned the truck that afternoon. She said she would have it checked. The truck had 143k on the odometer.

I was the first person in store and yet the clerk never acknowledged me and proceeded to take not 1 but 2 customers that came in after me! Very unprofessional! I called hours ahead of the time I was supposed to return the rental and explained to the guy that I needed more time and he said no problem just return the keys in the drop box and come to find out he charged my account for 2 days and I only rented it for 1 day! Ontop of lying about refunding my money for the second day. I will never use uhaul or this location again! The whole experience was horrible

Make sure business owner at pickup location knows how to treat customers and how to read a clock, how important it is to b e on time and how not to lie to a customer to cover himself. How not to steal from customer would be a high priority. I don't know that you can correct this because I have seen no indication that Uhaul really cares.

The equipment was clean in good shape the only complaint that I did had was on the trailer the hydraulic braking system it would activate the braking system when not needed that may need to be looked into overall the six days that I had the trailer what is a good experience would recommend..

Did NOT appreciate the call 1-2 days before expected move that there were no trailers available in desired pickup location. Plans had already been made in regard to timeline. Had I not been able to pick up a trailer locally, this moving experience would have been a disaster!

Personnel were super nice and helpful, I can't say enough about how helpful they were. Store and building were run down and scary. Parking lot had potholes and was a mess with not enough room to even load my car on the transport. UHaul as a company is a COMPLETE disaster, especially the scheduling and reservation system, I will never use UHaul again. I will be contacting you with my specific outline of the complete failures in the UHaul reservation and rental system. UHaul cost me ridiculous amounts of extra time from work, costs, and exasperation.

I was called the day before and told to pick up at a different location. Then called the day of and told to pick up at a different location. Moving is extremely stressful and having to switch around plans the day of the move creates anxiety and unnecessary stress.

This U-Haul dealer was the most kindest and understanding rental dealer I've ever experienced. I was in a car accident where the other driver was at fault. The accident totaled out our only car. We tried calling other car rental companies and nobody had anything available. I then remembered seeing something on the news about people renting U-Haul vehicles in Hawaii due to car rental shortages. This U-Haul dealer was there for us and even extended our rental time twice to make sure we could do everything we needed to do. I couldn't be more grateful and thankful that they were there for us. I wouldn't just recommend them but also feel these people deserve all praise I can give. I even thought this would be a great commercial for U-Haul in general!!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!

The lady was very friendly but did not come out to show me which truck I was going to be using. I had to call the uhaul roadside for the front tire because it was bald. Kurts (the repair shop that came out to fix the tire) said the truck shouldn't of even left the parking lot. I had the wrong amount of gas in the truck so I had to go back in and get it changed.

The equipment was clean. The truck had failed fuses for lighting. Fortunately, GM saw fit to place spares in the UEC. The car hauler trialer had butchered wiring for lighting, Band-Aided with Sta-Kon crimps instead of a proper repair. I spent three hours tracing, replacing, and soldering the wire harness before the trailer could be pulled (legally). You're welcome.

Erica the lady at the U-Haul location where we picked up our trailer was excellent. Unfortunately some of the lights did not work on the trailer and one of the top running lights was actually missing. She tried to contact U-Haul for over an hour to find out how we could remedy the situation. Finally I was able to talk to a gentleman that gave me an 800 number In the meantime she contacted another local U-Haul center on Forest Road in Rockford and said that they do some maintenance work there and then we should try to stop by and see if they could help us since no one there would answer the phone either. So I tried to 800 number that the gentleman I talk to earlier and after 45 minutes of being on hold the phone was answered explained my situation was put on hold and after four minutes was disconnected. In the meantime my wife was trying on her phone to use your u-haul.com/help after30 minutes of waiting someone finally picked up for a chat and after a minute or two we were cut off again. She tried that again with no success in the meantime I had spent over two hours on three different attempts to call the 800 number I was given on hold. Period finally on I believe the fourth attempt@ u-haul.com/help a gentleman by Dominique was very helpful and he turned me over to a gentleman named Carlos who took all the information and within an hour and a half they had someone out there to take care of the wiring problem with the trailer. He spent over an hour having to do rewiring. On another note when I made the reservation that location does not exist. Then when I got to the location in Denver that we were going to drop the trailer off per your website again there is no such service at that location. I did find another location and the folks there were excellent to deal with. All in all wasted a great deal of time trying to fix your problems Customer service is dearly lacking. I can't imagine if somebody had a flat tire or a real serious issue how frustrated they would be being stranded.
