We had several issues with our latest truck rental. 1) The recorded Mileage and Fuel level by the location was incorrect - 46 mile off and 1/8 tank of gas off. Fortunately we took pictures of the truck and dashboard before leaving the location. I spent hours on the phone trying to ensure this was corrected before we returned the truck. Calls to the location and UHaul support resulted the gas level being corrected, but the mileage was not. So upon return, the location we returned the truck to could not recognize the correct mileage resulting in us being over charged. 2) Although not a location issue, the UHaul software (website) was difficult to use. I added information to the rental, but upon completion of the form, the information was not displayed. So I added it again. Then it was displayed as being there twice. 3) I asked to add a day to the rental. The traffic manager added it, but then it got removed. So I called the support folks - they added the second day again. But by the next day it had disappeared again. When I went to return the truck, they told me I had kept it longer than I should have. The final bill was significantly higher than I had been told it would be, so I assume I got assessed additional charges. Overall the truck ran well and got the job done, but the process around it was difficult and not something I would look forward to doing again.Gene D.

Reservation was for 8am. No one there. We sat and called the number on the door numerous times. Finally after an hour someone showed up. The truck smelled of pot and had pot in it (I have a photo ).CHRISTINE G.

Seemed to be a storage business first and a rental location second. The $19.95 offer is more like bait and switch. My move for three hours cost $60+ dollars. I have used the Middlesex Street location previously and it much better managed, I will say that the clerk (young lady) was very helpful.Fred F.
To me your staff represents the company which also shows how they are treated from management on up, in their treating of customers . The person that took care of me was very professional and helped me threw the whole process. So as far as what you can do is keep on doing what you are doing. The 15' truck i reserved was not available when I went to pick it up. The employee was very polite and helpful and was able to provide me with a 20' truck on the premises for the same price for the 15' truck.James D.

Experience there was awful he had to write me up a second contract because the first contract the gas gauge what's wrong it was more gas than it was actually in the tank upon returning the truck the odometer was wrong the contract stated 500,000 miles the paperwork stated 100,000 Miles This may be doing an online return impossible spent over an hour to get somebody on the phone to help me split another 40 minutes straightening things out because the people at this location did not check the truck out or in the proper way which cost me time and harassment so I'm never coming back to that location thank youPAUL R.

The physical location of the store made me a little uncomfortable I dropped off the truck alone by myself late at night and it is very isolated and scary tucked in out of sight I actually called a friend and had them stay on the phone with me until I was driving awayMolly M.

Although I was able to reserve a hand cart (dolly) online, when I arrived at this location I was informed that no equipment is available at this site. Quite inconvenient. No fault of the location itself. Other than that, the experience was great.Saul C.

Getting my vehicle through the App was actually more cumbersome than just going into the store. I would've been on the road quicker had I just gone inside. Asking about insurance and moving pads and roadside assistance both during the rental sign up and then again when picking up the vehicle is annoying. Choose once and then stick with it.David A.

The location that we dropped off has either terrible business pracice or very unethical methods of making extra money. We dropped off overnight our U-Haul 12 hrs before our due time of 10:37 am 7/27, it was left at the location at 11pm 7/26, the facility opens at 7 am and they did not process our drop off until 11 am! They either unknowingly forgot to check the drop off box for the keys for 4 hours or knowingly waited until 30 minutes after the due time to charge for an extra day. Just awful practice.Jeanne P.
Apparently, this location doesn't provide trolleys and shipping blankets, and according to the manager there that location never has, yet uhauls site never informed me of this fact while filling it out the rental. Probably should have some kind of notification of when a location can't provide certain amenities.Travis C.

The brakes on the 15" truck I got were very squeaky especially when it rained, when it rained they moaned that's the only way I can describe it. Other than that everything was fine. Trucks just need a little maintenance, they get allot of miles put on them quickly.Louise P.

I was given an invoice with the estimated amount of $31.80 if the vehicle was driven 15 miles, returned on time, there was no damage, and the fuel tank was full. I complied with the agreement, however had put 21 miles on the vehicle expecting to be charged for the six additional miles at 79 cents a mile ($4.74). I was later told that it would take five days to get my funds reimbursed. I've communicated with the people at the location where I rented the vehicle four or five times. I've tried to talk to a person two times at the corporate level and was unable to. I went online (as requested) using the '/payments' site and no success (it doesn't recognize me'. This only makes me wonder why it is so quick and easy to put in a charge (at the location', and why so long and difficult to get a credit through.Paul G.

Upon returning my U-Haul the computer system was down so I was not able to get a final receipt or proof of payment until it was emailed to me 2 days later at which time I found a huge error in the billing and now have to deal with getting an adjustment on my account.Kristel M.

The van was clean but the previous driver was a heavy smoker and the vehicle reeked of noxious stale cigarette smoke, so much so that my wife ended up w a headache. As a suggestion, it would be good if possible if there were non-smoking options available to rent. Thanks.Owen C.
