Guy was very diffrent, I called in advance to insure my rental was going to be in Belleville KS. It was not, customer service wanted me to drive a 1 and half hours to pick the rental up, had to fight with the customer service person to find a closer location, still had to drive 40 mins. to get it that is wrong, when you reserve in a town it should be there.

This is a very rude place. Upon arrival a mechanic came to the front counter after I had waited five minutes and asked what I needed. When I told him, he grunted something and walked away. After waiting for 20 minutes this same mechanic came to the front again but ignored me until I asked when someone would be able to help me with my rental. His response was, "well we are all very busy here" and turned an walked away. After another ten minutes someone finally came to the front counter to commence my rental. This person was very short, abrupt and basically rude. I was glad to get the trailer hooked up and out of there. This person made me feel like I was a great inconvenience to them.

I picked up my trailer in Scottsdale and paid for it and shipping blankets Which were supposed to be in the trailer. They were forgot no I called and they said they would reimburse me and that didn't happen. I have used U-Haul 15 to 20 times in the last 15 years, this is the second time they have screwed me over in the last year

The only problem we had came when we tied to unhook the tongue from the ball when we returned the empty trailer. We had a rough time getting it off because the underside of the tongue part was bent in slightly and we had to remove the ball and tongue together and let them hit the ground in order to release them from each other.We are still happy overall with the trailer we rented and from who we rented it from,noone could have foreseen the trouble we had unhooking it.

He never went out to the trailer with me. Right lights don't work and the left one flashes. When latching and chaining up it had dark oil that wouldn't come off hads.

Staff taking the return was not friendly at all and very abrupt. It felt like I was an inconvenience to him that I was bringing the trailer back in. But did get it checked in quickly and I was on my way. So maybe friendly and personable are overrated?

Both U Haul trucks I've rented in the last two weeks smell like cigarettes smoke. There should be some check and balances system for this type of issue. I got a headache from driving in these trucks for 14hrs twice. Not happy! We were also suppose to get an extra day to return for to the distance we had to drive to intercept our vehicles. That DIDN'T happen.

Nobody was there, couldn't read their sign so we missed it the first time. No available phone number that anyone would answer & no way to leave a message to make sure everything was fine with the return of the truck & equipment.

The gentleman was over helpful when my lights didn't work . The tow dolly however , was old, squealed like needed greased when turning corners. The ramps we so loud jumping around on bumps I was worried the whole was from Kansas to S. Carolina.

As I rent from uhaul on a regular basis. I was very disappointed that my location was changed to 50 mikes north of my reservation pickup. This is not the first time It has cost me time and money because they have rented my truck that was reserved to a higher paying customer. This change ended up costing me $150.00 plus. I will certainly be rethinking of giving you my business.

I'm writing this note following my one way from Concordia Ks to Bozeman Mt using a 6' x 12' trailer. My wife and I feel that we fulfilled our end of the contract, but UHaul, starting with the dealer in Concordia Ks did not fulfill their end. The dealer checked us out with equipment that was not safe and could have led to injury to my family. The 6' x 12' trailer needed to be taken out of commission. First, the wheel hubs were damaged and highly corroded, resulting in shimming (tires out of round) and the suspension was poor. We couldn't drive over 55 mph with out the potential of fish tailing. Our load was not very heavy, some household boxes, dining chairs and 3 pine pieces. With a dual axle in the overall design of the trailer, we should have been able to go safely faster. We experienced a tire blowout that stranded us outside Caspar Wy. We were pleased with the Road Side Assistance program that got us back on track. Needless to say, the overall rental experience was rocky. We don't mind paying for services rendered … but this is a case that your dealers have got to take some responsibility, more that just writing up a contract. The Ks dealer was asked if the trailer was serviced … all he said was "I don't know … that's Uhaul thing.” My wife and I feel like the ball was dropped in the Uhual system and we feel like some compensation is appropriate. I don't want a credit. I'm retired and don't intend to move. Kindly get back to us at this email. Bart Smith

Car broke down on x-country trip in Concordia, KS. Got a car carrier for 5 days from Omaha (4+ hours away) for over $550. Car carrier didn't suit my needs. Won't hold car. Turned it in to Concordia a few hours later and picked up an enclosed trailer for over $750. Do you think I got a partial refund (say, 4 days worth)? HELL NO! I have to pay full price for BOTH. NEVER renting from u-screw (or is that SCREW-U) again. This is going to hit social media like a gulf storm... The guy from Miller's (his card is in the truck) went so far out of his way to help, I'm sending him a check when I get settled.

I felt raped when I was told how much it would cost to rent going from Ks to Ca. Ca to Ks was 33% less. I will definitely look for other options in the future. If I had known it was going to be 50% more than the other way had cost, I would have searched for other options. Goodbye Uhaul.
