This location and my time with them was excellent. However, the process of making the reservation with U-Haul as a whole, was awful. I spoke with a very rude “manager” for the Minnesota area I am in and was incredibly disappointed and dissatisfied. So, Milaca U-Haul location was wonderful in every way. U-Haul as a corporation was incredibly difficult.
CHRISTAN STRADLEYThat you make it closer to get a U-Haul and you don't overcharge somebody for something they didn't have and overcharge them for when they bring it back and say that they have to pay all this extra money all the time when they're already stressed out with moving and then they have to go out of their way yet another hour to pick it up in an hour to bring it back that's ridiculous moving isn't supposed to be that stressful and then with the u-haul being more stressful that's not good

MARY FRANSSENWhen I went in the first time, I was told the price for a 10ft. But they didn't tell me that the 10 ft wasn't available so I had to rent the 20ft. Then when I tried to extend online it wouldn't let me so I went to the store (more miles) and asked to extend and about the 10 ft sitting in the parking lot. He concluded my rental and then told me the 10 ft wasn't available again and then wrote up a new contract so I was charged 1.29 for miles. When I turned in my truck and asked why this occurred, he fixed the miles to .99 cents but then put a cc charge that wasn't discussed nor is it on my first receipt. I feel duped.

David MartinHave them take the no mask allowed sign down and have the personnel cover their concealed carry weapons. Make sure the mileage matches the odometer reading. Have them answer the phone when you call.
John Ryderhow can I take pictures of the gas and mileage when your after hour dropped off app is not even working. And charged me $20 extra on my credit card with out my permission. I feel like you are taking advantage of your good customer like me cuz I suppose to dropped off at 9am on the 24th of September, instead I dropped off at 5:30 pm on the 23rd the night before, And still being charged $20 for it because of the your App.

Ryan StraightI was confused with the defiance with the mask mandate. The staff was coughing and sniffling and not eating masks, signage outside stating not masks are allowed inside the facility.
Bradley WalkerWill never use you and will let all know the poor service and billing I received. I returned the truck 2 hours early and dealer was closed I tried to get website to acknowledge return but internet service would not allow. This is 100 miles from my home while moving my mom into the nursing home. Then you charge me an extra 20$ on my bill. Totally unacceptable I will never consider using u again unless this charge is removed. Also I will contact the BBB Jim Struffert

BRIAN MARQUARDTThe first car dolly had a driver side tail light out. They traded out another car dolly that had working lights. Cannot get at the light bulbs because they are riveted shut. Otherwise, they were helpful.

Darin KjaerMy experience with living breathing human beings here was excellent. My interaction with Uhaul's internet/web experience was ABISMAL! I will only deal with Uhaul via face-to-face reservations, pickups, and drop offs...IF I ever am forced to waste my time with Uhaul in the future.
BRIAN SIMONDSRental trailer was to be returned by 6pm at this location. There was nobody there to assure me all was good. Then I get a surprise additional $20 charge for after hours service! IT WAS RETURNED ON TIME AND NOBODY WAS EVEN THERE! How can there be an after hours service charge?!!!

samuel fradetteI was charged a remote location fee, which I did not understand for $20, that I confirmed before the trip as a drop off. I like to have a plan. I was charged a cleaning fee of $20, when I swept out the vehicle myself. At the end there was some dirt that could not be removed, because of the grooves in the floor. I did not have a vacuum, but I swept as much as I could. All trash and twine was pick up and the floor was swept. My extra charge was $15 for sweeping and $20 for ???? $35 all together? The truck ran well and it completed the job. I should not have been charged the $35 additional. Tom Bunz

darcy jeffersonMilaca rental went above and beyond for me. Mt rental was supposed to be picked up in Princeton but uhaul couldn't provide the trick promised so I had to go to Milaca. I was compensated with extra miles though so it worked out
Kassidy CookFind a way to get the rental sent to the actual pick-up place that was requested instead of 30 miles away. NOT very convenient. And be considerate of the fact if it's not a local move to give them a truck with at least cruise control!

John DalyNo problems here, but I was charged excess mileage and did not go anywhere but Alexandria to pick up vehicle, Glenwood, which was my original pick up point, to Milaca the destination, I was told I was to be given additional miles caused by pick up. With all the BS I went through I just will write off the charge and put the whole thing behind me. If there is an alternative in the future, I will use it. Will I tell others. You bet if asked.
David BoettcherThis location charged me a cleaning fee for a trailer that was returned in the condition that it was on upon pickup, and this was after U-Haul was unable to honor my reservation for a 20 ft truck. Poor form all around, U-Haul.

Cheryl CoteDrop off point was closed & I was charged with an extra rental day plus safe moving insurance when I was told that I wasn't going to be charged for it because of the drop off location was closed. I am not happy with this situation And I expect to be compensated for your screwups .

ROBERT MATHISONVery disappointed once again. I was told that I would receive a call or email with the lock box number to pick my truck up at 7:30 am in morning. Never received the information. Sat there for 45 minutes until place opened. When I told them that I had been waiting for 45 minutes and never received the lock box information their reply was "oh" not friendly people behind counter. In fact, all they did was rip UHaul apart and said they have nothing but trouble with them and they are terrible to deal with. VERY UPSET BY ALL OF THIS
