The trailer was not available at first location, even though I had reserved and called ahead. Then rented my truck, SIX hours later, from a different location, I had the truck. Put me WAY behind schedule, and cost much more. I will never rent from UHaul again- horrible experience at first location in Boulder.

Customer service is nonexistent!! You have to unhook your equipment! They didn’t even come out to check it! From other reviews I’ve seen about this location I don’t understand why Uhaul would even have this location other than exposure and storage of their equipment

First, figure out a new system to verify drivers license as internet was horrible in the whole area! Second , have a representative there who can physically connect the trailers properly and not leave it all to the customer ( me) ! If I were not capable of lifting and connecting trailer to my vehicle what would I have done ?! I thought it was your policy that a qualified representative had to connect and confirm equipment was on and working properly !

They were more concerned about selling liquor than helping me get the truck picked up. I asked them to do a walk around and was told they don’t do that.

I arrived at the UHAUL drop-off location at 2pm MT. The personnel had not the foggiest clue of what she was doing. She took the truck keys and looked it over. We proceeded inside the store, I was assuming to finish the drop off process. She put everything into the I-pad and supposedly said that I owed an additional $164! I did not know how that could be. Starting mileage 58485, Ending mileage 58729.8. Which equals 244 mile difference. Now there was 231 miles allowed in the contract. I went 13 miles over that. So that would be 13 * 0.40= $5.20 that I owed. Then the gas tank was at 1.9 according to the scale which would be almost $8 I owed in gas. The lady Nicole was unable to explain anything to me, of the charges, anything. She was very rude and also called me the B word which is not cool in Customer Service. I've just had a really poor poor experience on both ends and I will not recommend UHAUL to anybody!!! I am no longer going to use UHAUL for anything.

Everything good except when returning I was charged $17 for gas despite filling the gas as pre rental level.

They did not make sure that the supplemental equipment was in the truck. I had to go rent dollys and things of that nature from Home Depot. And was still originally charged for the items.

Show the renter how things work. You know, like a walk around or at least more then just pointing out what we rented and giving us keys. Would have been nice too f we had help hooking up the car hauler to the 26’‘ truck.

Don’t use a liquor store for drop off location..they had no idea as how to unhitch the trailer...they were to busy waiting on their own customers..

The lady at Mike's Liquor Emporium was very professional, nice, and helpful. She made up for the location in N. Boulder where we originally had a reservation to pick-up a truck that same day. The N. Boulder location lost the key to our truck that same day, had 2 other trucks on the property but would not give us one while they searched/resolved the lost key issue. My colleague did have a reservation, and was in their office to pick up before the other 2 reservations arrived, and they just said "sorry". Seems like they should have given him one of the other reserved trucks while they resolved their problem with the key rather than leave us scrambling for a new reservation. They did not even locate one for us at another location to help resolve the problem. I'm not much of a complainer, but this was terrible customer service for N Boulder this go around.

Guy runs a liquor store. Was not able to help me unhitch tow dolly. Had to get two guys buying beer to help me unhitch. They left my truck hitch plug there. Had to go back and get my plug for the lights. ??

The person working the liquor store and managing the U-Haul rentals didn’t seem to have time for both. She told me to hook up the trailer myself. I have never been told to do that and I’ve rented at least a dozen times. She reluctantly agreed to “help” me. While doing the hook up, she complained about how little training she’d had. She also had heavy alcohol on her breath. When I returned the trailer, she called me later to say there was straw in it and complained that she didn’t have a hose to wash it down. There was no straw in it when I got it. I didn’t put any straw in it while I had it. The whole experience was not very professional. I will not rent from this location again.

The guy didnt know what he was doing. And he over charge me for the trailer. He didn't even give me my receipt. He didn't know how to run the uhaul computer. That is why i didnt get a receipt. I some how like to get some part of my money back. Just the part he over charge. And im not sure who to contact on this issue, he was a little rude also.

I was helped by Helly at BZ Enterprises to find Mike. She didn't have the trailer I needed,but looked around and helped find what I wanted at Mike's. Overall a good experience.

I thought a different location would provide better service, but U-Haul obviously has it controlled as far as customer service. IT SUCKS!! There are other rental places to go.

The per mile rate is ridiculous and exhorbitant. The truck rental was $30- that's awesome, but seriously .70 per mile? I was picking up a piece of furniture that I don't know how could have been any closer- but I was charged $78 for using the truck for one hour. Really? I should have checked the mileage because there's no way it was 40 miles even round trip
