Earlier hours would be AWESOME. I wanted to get started at 7am. The check in process was pretty smooth. Maybe get a b/w printer. The color printer takes longer so the check in took a little longer due to the time waiting on print. Not that bad, but this could save you money and time if you use a cheaper printer (old dell black and white) just for the sign in forms. No color needed.Robert K.

No uhaul representative contacted me 2 days prior as to where to pick up my rental. I ended up contacting my preferred location who did not have it. She helped contact uhaul who told her it was in mchenry off of 31. No further details were given. My wife and I then googled dealers in mchenry off if 31 to track down which dealer had our rental. Truck was somewhat clean but there was a foul odor but tolerable. A ramp would be good also. Had a hard time climbing up and down the 10" truck. The estimated time we had was doubled because of that. Luckily we rented it for 8 hoursRamon R.
Huge trouble finding the location. The location on uhaul.com wanted to take me to a location about 10 miles away. Either update your address on the uhaul.com website or put a bigger sign out for people to see as the entrance is on a curve and when going southbound you pass the entrance before you see the sign.Dave T.

Please have the vehicle filled completely with gas, instead of 3/4 tank. It is inconvienent and unfair for the customer to have to gauge the amount of gas to refill. Pick it up filled; return it filled. It's easy. To relate that a Marathon station is just down the road, means the proprieter is just as capable of filling the tank. I believe I overspent about $10 in gas making sure I did not return it short of the requirement. Other than that, everything was perfect.Ben R.

We had to get a supervisor to make corrections in our charges. This location did call and correct the charges the Lafayette branch did regarding the blanket bundle charges that were wrong. They were unwilling to help with the other charge problems. All the locations seemed to pass the problems onto the other location until the supervisor got involved.ANTHONY S.
Make sure the vehicle is at the location I reserved and confirmed at (Island Lake). Also, your customer service rep Vanetta was rude. She didn't listen, she raised her voice unnecessarily, talked over me and only offered to look for the exact same vehicle (14') at another location. I had to ask her to also check for each larger truck at different locations. That should be something she should have offered, not wait for me to ask. Poor customer service.STEVE B.
