Brakes had worn out brake pads. Truck box leaked badly ruining my furniture in a rain storm.

I am still waiting for uhaul transportation to return my call…transportation moved my reservation and it cost me 18 miles round trip that my original location would not have cost me. In addition, I waived safe mode $15….when you transferred my reservation it reappeared costing me the $15. There is at least $30 (not including extra gas) I should not be paying. Not this locations fault, but I need transportation to call me back.

GEORGIA GThe truck was not in good shape. The ride was not good and the engine and transmission is old a tired.
Robert GEverything was great, really, trailer worked great and the attendant lady was soooo helpful and nice. Only small issue was the front ratchet mechanisms for the front wheel straps needed to be lubed. They were every hard to operate.
Todd BVery disappointed with the "features" of the 20' truck. The rental was one-way (ATL to Tampa) and was NOT equipped with cruise control, nor did it have any USB outlets.... only 3 old school cigarette lighter type plugs.

Frank FUhaul changed my pick up location. The original location was right next to a store I was picking up an item to haul. I took me an extra hour and a half to get the truck and pick up my item. It also increases my miles over my allowance. The store was suppose to apply additional miles but did not. The truck had bug splatter all over the windshield. I had to clean it off to see out of the truck we’ll. Also, the appliance hand truck had mud on one of the wheels. I had to clean it in order to avoid getting dirt on my carpet.

John WA truck that does not have “ check engine” light on. Probably regular maintenance would help. We also got a text saying turn-in time would be an hour earlier than we were told when we rented.

Tristen HThe trailers are very heavy to pick up by one person and put on the hitch of your vehicle, you should have a jack on the front to make loading/ hitching up easier.
Robin BNothing against the storage facility. My complaint is with the 26’ truck I rented. The vehicle had 145k plus miles on it and this was acceptable because I’m sure most of it was highway miles but there was major safety concerns. For starters the steering wheel was not aligned and constantly kept veering of the road. I also drove this truck at night and the dash board would not illuminate. I had no way to tell how fast I was going or read any analog gauge. This was unacceptable as I have drove newer vehicles for U-haul and honestly felt like I was being taken advantage of. For the money I paid, I should have received a safe truck. A refund is fair in my opinion. I hope this message falls on the right ears and I hope no one else has to get behind that wheel.
