It was a virtual pick up which I was fine with, however it was a horrible experience. I picked up the truck at 10:30 but was having issues with the app and my location. All my setting were on & connected. All permissions allowed Uhaul access. I spoke with a virtual rep who tried changing the time to 11 thinking that could be an issue, because it was taking so long. Then the app said I was at the wrong location & the rep confirmed I was at the right location. I was instructed to go to a box with a wordlock. The only box I could find was a key drop off box that did have a wordlock. The word was not working. I went back in spoke with a rep again unsure if this was the right box or perhaps the wrong word. It wasnt working. We were Youtubing videosI I had my brother & kids trying. I had to ask my husband to come meet us all the way from Erie it was a mess. We were there for over two hours. I finally decided to call instead of speaking to a virtual rep again to see about cancelling because we had hired workers to help us that were waiting at the site since 10:45. The rep I spoke with on the phone was very nice. And then he asked if the back of the truck had a lock. So we went to the back & there was a lock! That whole time we were being told a box. It was an awful, awful experience & I would rather go somewhere else in the future, Also when I went to return the truck the location was not working again, it was a painful experience. I would feel very horrible if this had been an elderly person or someone non tech savvy.

Douglas Van DuynI will NEVER use uhaul again. They made this move the worse nightmare I have had. The girl at the store knew NOTHING about the equipment when I picked it up. And the guy that I talked to a month before the move told me that a 20' truck would work which it didn't. If you don't know anything about the equipment why are you renting it out. The wait at the store was terrible. Internet either slow or not working at all. She had to go outside to upload my drivers license. The place is hopping and she is the only one there so others had to wait 20 minutes or more each time I went to the store. BEWARE!

Noemi Alvarado-GonzalesLocation is clean and welcoming, the staff was very helpful upon rental pick up, the truck was available on short notice and met all of my needs. However, I was mischarged for some pads I never ordered or utilized, and for gasoline, even though I had filled the tank back to the original spot before returning the truck. I rented the truck for two hours on a Saturday, received my receipt for including the overage and in return I emailed my fuel receipt and objections to the customer service email address on my final receipt. It is now Wednesday at midnight and I have not heard nothing back from customer service about reimbursement for the overcharges. Advice I’d give others… Take your own picture of the gas gauge at the start of your rental and if pads are in the truck, give them to the attendant so there is no chance of confusing your charges.
Jennifer McCutchenI was double charged. At pickup you said I needed to get it back so you could rent it out the following morning. I got it back the same day, about 12 hours after renting it and 8 hrs before your next rental but I was charged for a second day. 2 days worth of fees for a 12 hr rental that's not good business.

Terry WilliamsI had an initial reservation that the pickup location was changed. This added 22 miles on my rental! I had an 8 am pick up at the new location. Right away I noticed the moving pads and dolly were not in the truck. I had to wait until 9am for the pickup facility to open. I did get the pads but they didn't have a utility dolly for me to use. I am a little frustrated with this rental. I have used U haul several times in the past. Is there any credit that could apply to my card? Thank you Karsten Reece, Karrs30@yahoo.com
