The truck had a very dirty windshield and mud at the bottom of both sides of the truck. When I asked the establishment manager who signed the paperwork initials "P.M." which is a gas station/auto repair shop to please clean the windshield prior to my departure I expected it to be cleaned with a wet soapy windshield brush. She drove the truck to the garage entrance and a worker got into the truch and used only the trucks windsheild wiper to clean the windsheild in which it left it partially clean and leaving the rest of the windsheid dirty. I feel this was very unprofessional and dismissive of a paying customer.

Do a better job of calculating mileage. I went directly from pickup to loading (2 miles away) to drop off. No detours. No extras. I went 12 miles over allowed mileage.

The attendant did not discuss previous damage to vehicle. It was’nt major but it should have been mentioned. I noticed it and documented it with a time stamped photo taken before leaving lot.

Well first off when i got the uhaul the gas wasn’t even where they stated it was a cocoa cola bottle in the floor just as well as a nature grain bar paper in the floor 2 things i don’t eat or drink so i know for sure it wasn’t mine. Well when i opened the back you can tell it hasn’t been swept. Well i get back the lady was very rude for one an then she comes out with a broom an says it needs to be swept out first which i didn’t mind I did like she asked an told her i apologize even though it was there when i picked it up. Never made it a issue all while I’m getting treated like the worst customer ever. So i questioned my bill because it just didn’t seem right to pay as much as i did. She fused to answer any of my questions an continued to close the store. I don’t know how you like to be treated but they definitely need a check on there customer service skills it’s horrible. An i say this because I’m a manager myself an have been for over 10 years so i know how to treat others no matter of age or race. But I’ll never come back I’ll look into other rental options.

I rented a truck with a dolly for my car. The person at the rental place wouldn’t even get up to show me how the dolly worked. When I asked him to at least watch me put the car on there so I knew what I was doing he said it would cost me $25 for him to just watch me or for him to even show me. Very unprofessional especially since it was my first time putting a car on a dolly. I could have damaged the truck and it would have been on me to pay for it. I’ve rented a same dolly from budget and they have me no problems when it came to showing me if anything I didn’t even have to ask they came out and offered to show me how it worked so I knew how to do it when I was ready to get my car up. Will never rent from you guys again and I would never recommend this store to anyone

I rented a truck @ Michael's U-haul/ W. Franklin Blvd., Gastonia, NC. I asked what fees were included with the $19.95, I got no direct answer. Just insurance which I expected and .79 per mile. I was not told that I would automatically be charged $39.50 for mileage before I ever drove off the lot! Nor the $1 enviromental fee, the $8.21 tax, nor that I would be charged a $20 fee for an after Hour return. I told her I would only be needing the truck for a couple hrs. and then returning it. She showed me where to put the key, but never mentioned the $20 fee nor the fact that if I kept it 24 hrs. it would be cheaper, Nor did she tell me she stuffed my receipt inside a brochure, which did have all these charges on it and had I seen it I would have gotten a refund! She also told me there was 3/4 in gas and it was actually below that mark. I put $5 gas in before turning after driving only 21 miles because that's all the cash I had! I gave her a $100 deposit and she charged me the entire amount. I have been in tears and sick to my stomach as I draw a small SS check each month and now I'm left with $7.97 in my acct. and will not receive my next check til Oct. 9! Now I understand why there were so many available trucks on the lot! This woman is a crook and if she can not refund me at least the ridiculous $20 fee for being nice and bringing the truck back early and cleaner than it was, I am going to let it be known all over Gastonia and Facebook. I will NEVER advise anyone to deal with this woman! Yes, I am very upset over this! This is False Advertisement!

45 minutes to use your application to pick the truck up, another 45 minutes to return it. You call fir help and switched from person to person. I should have went with Penske like every said. U-Haul used to be the best!!

The truck broke down I spent 6 hrs on phone 90 minutes on hold ... they told me I was going to have to pay for the tow and then you wanted to charge me full price even though I only used half of the estimated miles and 3/4 of a tank of gas ..., total BS crooks .... never again!!!!!

The interior can of the truck had an overwhelming marijuana odor. But the box and exterior was clean and in good shape. The truck had no maintenance issues. Great, friendly staff too.

The trucks need suspension. That's all I can really think of. The truck was good on gas even towing a car. We estimated that particular truck has 9.76 miles per gallon of gas with a car carrier and car on the carrier. The only other thing I would suggest is expand the size of the cabin, both in seating area and near the accelerator. The A.C. was ice cold, the sound system on the radio was great, the 120V didn't charge our phones quite as quickly as I thought, but it sufficed.
