the final locations was good i had to move my reservation 3 times though due to lack of trucks and was told my account would be credited 50 dollars which has not happened.devin R.
Not only did the 26' box truck that I rented have no working AC in the middle of the AZ summer, the brakes went out in the truck causing me to have to call roadside assistance and having it towed. The worst part about this entire experience is that for roughly a week after this incident I was told by uhaul that any charges that would've normally incurred for the rental would be waived due to the issues I had, I felt this was acceptable and was happy however 3 weeks later, over a month from the rental date, apparently the uhaul team regained possession of the truck from the tow company and decided it would be a good idea to charge me at 1am over 30 days later for the truck FOR THE ENTIRE TIME SINCE I RENTED IT. So, at 1-2am I get an email receipt for just over $2,000. I called and spent about an hour in the phone immediately and was told that someone in the morning, the director, would call me because she/he's the one who would have to issue the refund due to the amount. No such call came. I proceeded to spend the next 3-4 days calling every uhaul phone number I could find until I eventually got ahold of a group who was able to have their manager submit the refund. The issue was never that they didn't agree it should be refunded, it was that APPARENTLY NOBODY OUTSIDE OF A DIRECTOR POSITION CAN ISSUE A REFUND THAT LARGE. So, after about 4-5 business days I get my refund only to then have uhaul charge me at that time the original $155 for the rental; the fee that was suppose to have been waived due to the struggles. Of course I called the same lady back, who was incredibly nice and resolved the issue for what it's worth, but it took her another few days to figure out how she could refund the $155 as well. This was such a roller coaster of an experience that I can't confidently say I would trust any uhaul in this state again. (Because I had to call several different locations in order to find the solution). I've never been more disappointed in a service/rental company in my life. I would strongly recommend going elsewhere. I will say this though, I booked Brothers in Arms moving company through uhaul at the time of my rental as well and they sent the two workers to my house. Those two gentleman were exceptional workers and really kicked butt for me. I would highly recommend those guysSTEVEN W.

Add to the location information whether the location has gas pumps available, and a notice that trucks are not full of fuel when picked up. And perhaps a notice that locks are not provided with the truck rental, so the renter will need to provide their own.Debbie B.
Create a ramp from the loading level to ramp for Dolly's to operate more hassle free. The 3" lip between the 2 was very hard for me to haul heavy furniture and loads alone. Other than that had a great experience.Alex J.

I have relocated to Arizona and have not had the greatest experience with rentals. I had not used them before. But my experience at 797 E. Ray Rd. was great ! Friendly and helpful. I misunderstood about the furniture protectors and the gentleman that called me made that issue a resolve in minutes and I was truly grateful ! Kudos to 797 ! Mike B.Michael B.

The people working at this location were great! They were friendly and professional. The vehicles were very clean for a moving truck. The only problems I had with my experience were with the online check in system. When I made the reservation online the website didn't say they were open at the time for my pick up and I would only be able to do online check in. Well thankfully there were people there to help me in person because the online check in system was not working for 20 minutes. Overall great experience!VALERIE M.
This is the only U-Haul I have been to that doubles as a gas station/convenience store. With one person doing both jobs, there was a lot of distractions and the personal attention was divided. Overall the pick up still went smoothly and we have no complaints.Stephen W.

The UHAUL app was not very user friendly, in my opinion. You asked for 3 different items for check in. #1 Passport (how many people actually carry their passport, unless they are traveling out of the country)? #2 Lease agreement: who carries their lease agreement in the middle of the move? #3 An alternate person/reference. First and foremost, it does not mention that UHAL MUST call the reference before the client can proceed with truck check-out. It is in the best interest to notify the client in order to give the alternate/reference person a heads up on the call. In addition, truck pick up was set for 5:30am. Who calls an alternate person/reference at 5:30am? I can't imagine many people would answer at that time. With all of that said, it would have been helpful to have this check in process completed prior to the truck check-out. It was all an inconvenience and took up time, which makes the move process even more stressful. Check-out: the app would not accept the mileage input and I had to go into the clerk of the convenience store. Needless to say, lessons learned for any future rentals. Thank you,Megen C.
