Rudest woman I've met in a very long time. Yelled at me for calling her phone number (which was on the front door with instructions to call), when I showed up for a van at the scheduled time, and nobody was there. She berated me and complained the entire time, even though all of the errors were on their end. I was also charged a cleaning fee even though there was trash in the van when I picked it up. I was also moved out of my storage unit prematurely and had to be re-entered into the system to get another code, despite an email chain confirming that my vacate date was May 28. Totally awful experience, will never return, will tell everyone I know to avoid it.Keith A.

I Reserved two furniture dollies and none were available, reserved 36 blankets only 26 were available. On my reservation I did not want the safe move and found out I was charged for that not happy.RAY L.

I rented 2 Uhauls, and had 2 issues. When I returned the first Uhaul, I was told that I hadn't filled it back up with gas, even though I had just come from the gas station. When I rented the second Uhaul, I was told that I hadn't returned the first. Incompetent much?ERIK H.

Truck was fine, additional equipment I reserved was not on-site and I was informed as I checked in. I was refunded for the equipment (4 wheel and appliance dollies/hand trucks) but it made moving extremely difficult.THOMAS K.

Did not have the dolly's or the hand truck I reserved from a week prior. Truck windshield was covered in snow, fuel tank was marked full but when I started it it was just a touch over 3/4 tank. Will not rent from this location ever again!!Jeremy H.
No one available on site to assist with online check out issues. I spent at least 20 minutes on the phone with a UHaul customer service rep who was extremely helpful. There was a sign on the door with a number to call because the on site person was â€œat lunchâ€. We called that number and were told he'd be back in about 30 minutes and we should just check in on line. Very frustrating experience. When I returned the van I told the attendant the furniture dolly I reserved was not in the van so my invoice needed to be adjusted. His response was that this location doesn't have dollys so I must have reserved it somewhere else. Then I get a call from someone else asking if I'd used the dolly because it wasn't returned! I told that person I never received the dolly and had been told that location doesn't even rent dollys! Now, I'm being charged for the dolly anyway. Thus my poor review of this UHaul location. Tried to electronically sign over my keys, but the page kept malfunctioning. Got hit with the $20 fee the next day. Not exactly a problem with this location, but the website constantly malfunctioning felt like a sleazy cash grab.CHRISTOPH B.

The overall online check-in experience was great! The only thing I could recommend to improve would be that after doing the initial check-out of the truck, there was no link from that check-out screen and no email which provided instructions or started the process for checking the truck back in. After some confusion, I eventually signed back in on the main U-Haul site and saw the â€œReturn My Truckâ€ link, but it could have been more intuitive to find that link. But overall, very clean, very convenient, and a good value!Spencer D.

3800 Louisina did not act in good faith. Turns out my order 23742272 was changed. Pay one way and then when they delivered it they decided where they would deliver it. They assigned me Bloomigton which is 1:30 minutes from Saint Cloud. Call they kept calling me back and never did. I do not recommend them. It was humiliating, a lack of consideration, I paid 20: 00dlrs from Saint Cloud to Saint Louis Prk. 612 876 7054The young man who attended me at 3800 said that online orders are not considered correct. When the UHaul office e-mailed my receipt to me, I couldn't find it in the email so I had to go back inside to the office to ask how to find my receipt. I was told the receipt was in the UHaul website that was e-mailed to me. I was told I would need to establish an account on the website in order to see my receipt. This is totally inconvenient for the customer. UHaul, like every other business, needs to simply e-mail the receipt to the customer's e-mail address where the receipt is a PDF file that can be easily opened up. The customer shouldn't have to go into any websites, etc. to find a simple receipt. Other than that, the UHaul office was tremendously helpful.DANIEL K.
The employee at the counter complained to me, a customer, about a different customer. That never makes for good business. I asked for a utility dolly and she gave the impression that she did not attempt to get one but provided me with an appliance dolly again giving the impression she was doing me a favor by not charging me for it. Why the 'out of hours' $20 surcharge? I brought the trailer back around 8:30pm Sunday evening, so it would be checked in at 9:00 on Monday. Why the charge? What were my options? How could I have avoided the penalty?DAVID K.

I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because the vehicle was not ready. The keys were still in the outside lockbox and it took some time to get that straightened out. This is nitpicking, I understand, but I don't think it would be too much to expect them to be prepared when I had reserved the van and arrived at the agreed upon time. Otherwise I was very happy with the overall transaction.DEANE R.

I had some issues with the web application while picking up. I had an error show up on my screen and even after refreshing it would keep saying I had an error because there was no photo of my van. Because of this, I didn't know if my rental had gone through and I waited an extra 45 minutes to leave. I tried calling but was on hold for a while and never spoke to anyone.Sara M.

Absolute disaster. Trailer was not installed right and got the truck hung up so wheels did not touch ground. Mentioned jack looked too low to ground and was told that he â€œdidn't design itâ€. Upgraded truck and was charged wrong amount. Will never rent from uhaul again.ANN H.

Price quoted was doubled, sure this was hidden some place in the contract. So be prepared to pay double what they quote you. No point in ordering a dolly because you won't get one, and more then likely you will be charged for it. Don't worry bout showing up on time, the contactless pick up doesn't work. You will have the chance to sit around and wait for an employee to complete your reservation. At this point the price you were quoted as previously stated will go up 100%. Use Enterprise, I will never use UHAUL again! As many others won't according to the other reviews.Terry P.

Jayden was extremely rude, unprofessional, and seemed to really enjoy himself while he did it. He probably takes advantage of the fact that's he's not being watched all the time in a rental office by himself, and is able fulfill his desire to use particular customers as his personal punching bag. I have never been treated so poorly in any service I have ever paid for. Ridiculous.Janice H.

we had a 9:00 am rental reservation - we showed u; after 9:00 and the office was closed! We called Uhaul and were in a queue to talk to someone for over 9 minutes (9 minutes on hold is a long time - my company considers anything over 3 minutes on hold a failure) - anyway - I Googled and got a direct phone # for the location and then someone was there so we turned around and could get the van we rented. Libby manages the store and was great. My 15 ft uhaul truck was not available until 2:30 pm even though I scheduled pickup for 9:30 am weeks in advance. Libby tried to get me a replacement truck but nothing was available. When we move we obviously have family and friends to help. Having a vehicle 5 hours late is unacceptable for any business. Imagine going to the dentist and waiting 5 hours for him to show up for your appointment. Obviously this happens all the with uhaul rental. Pay more and rent from somewhere elseClarence M.

SLP Rep was in a hurry to leave for the day when i returned the truck. He told me to put key in box and he'd process it in the am. Shocked when I got a cc charge for gas the next day. I returned truck with +3/8 of a tank! When I picked up the rental in WI, I was told I would not have to pay for any fuel if I returned it with at LEAST a quarter of a tank. The contract also says you would be charged IF you return with less than a quarter tank. I believe I was scammed by the rep in SLP when being charged $72.25. I would have protested it personally that night if he would have tried to charge me. This, I believe, is also a deceptive way to put a charge on my cc. by delaying checkout to next day when I wasn't there. I want to speak with a company rep regarding this before I seek other remedies for this unwarranted charge. If this is not remedied, I will be publically responding to what I feel is a scam and someone not following the contract. I will also never work with the SLP location and let friends know about my experiences. The operator in WI was quite clear regarding the 1/4 tank requirement. I would have handled the return differently if he had not assured me of making sure I had the 1/4 tank full. 3/8 is more than 1/4 in any state!Bob D.
I reserved a moving dolly but when I got there, there were no dollys available. I was sent to a different location nearby and was told I would get one there but when i went to the second location, I was told I shouldn't have been sent there. It wasted about 45 minutes from my reservation start time and in the end, I had no dolly to use.Rinku M.
Dolly rented but unavailable, app check in When I called the location to make sure I was not for a dolly when I returned the truck without one, I was told I did not pick up the truck at that location. When I insisted I was met with anger and told I had to call the other location where I had obviously picked up the truck. This at least got me to dispatch and she noted the account. This was a location I was moved to because my location over booked. No dolly, no apology was a 2 day long distance move that we managed without a dolly. It was overall a easy rental except I wasnt able to check the truck back in. So I called 1800UHaul for help and the woman who helped me was no help at all she was rude and then hung up. Her name was Mandy. I finally figured it out myself by calling all the numbers I could find. Still was not at all what I thought it was going to be. Also it was quite expensive for only 2 hour rental, $96!!!! Plus $15 in gas. U haul should offer a discount if only used a rental truck for under 3 hours.stacy S.

The employee in charge of this location was beyond disappointing. When I arrived couldn't get the self check out to work. I went to go inside there was a door that said will be returning in 10 Minutes. After waiting 30-40 minutes I finally get into the store. Libby (the employee) head in hand finally acknowledges me in the lest friendly way. After another 45 minutes, 3 attempts to run my card, and asking my info a half a dozen times. I get the U-Haul self check in to accept my out of state driver license. I show her while she's on the phone trying to figure out how to process my rental. She's confused and the gentleman on the phone tells her she can give me my keys. This is how 11:25 for a 9:30 rental. I was unable to get what I needed to before going to work. Making my first day worth of rental pointless. I then got a rude phone call as to why I just left the rental. I neglected to call her back to explain. Did I mention this lady didn't wear a mask the entire hour I was in the office trying to get the rental. I am disappointed after several rude, disrespectful and frustrating rentals.
