The inside of the cab was a bit dirty with sticky soda residue in one of the door armrests. There were cigarette ashes in the cab, but other than those 2 items it was as expected.Brad S.

Store needs to open on time. Vehicles should be fully service and cleaned. Truck was on dead empty when I picked up truck. They gave me a gas discount but when I return truck they took discount away. If it was the customer uhaul would have charge huge gas service on the customer. My gas discount should have stayed since I had to service the vehicle.Gary R.

They said the fuel gauge was between .5 and .75 but it was closer to .5. When I returned at that level, they thought I was missing a few gallons and charged me for it. I didn't have time to challenge them since I was in a hurryEsteban C.

Improve the check-in system on-line. We had trouble getting our truck and turning it in, due to tech issues. Even the attendant couldn't get it to work and had to call U-Haul for help to get us our truck. That took approximately 90 minutes off of our rental time! Not happy with this system.Elizabeth H.

Told me I couldn't drop off uhaul here even though it was my assigned drop off. Sent me to uhaul faculty. After uhaul facility sent me back to this location, staff here still tried to tell me I couldn't drop off and told me I would have excess fees for leaving there.Jake P.

The address to McNamara towing took us to an old tow yard. It was an invalid address. The shop worker told us the updated McNamara address so we had to drive more (and we were in a rush for an appointment). Then after returning the equipment we got an email a week later saying we never did.annie K.

This was the worst customer experience of my life. Despite confirmation emails and text messages stating the word GUARANTEED, I showed up and was told I had to go 24 miles to a new place to get my van! They finally found one 8 miles away but the whole thing cost me 2 extra hours, more driving mileage on the van and two required UBER fees. UHAUL and their vendors are HORRID!Michelle M.

There was a small amount of what appeared to be and smelled like vomit in the driver's floorboard. I also saw some of the same on the ground outside the truck. I had to clean this out and sterilize the cab due to health safety concerns. Also, the truck's box was not swept out. It had lots of dirt, dust, screws, etc. which I had to sweep out. I did not report this when I picked up the truck because I was on an extremely tight schedule to move items and could not afford any delay. I realize an occasional slip from normal cleaning may happen so I hope this is just an isolated instance for this location but it sure upset me.Mark F.

I ordered a large van and the van was not here at the scheduled pickup so I had to take a 15fter. That was not a fun experience as it was larger than i needed and more awkward and not convenient from a driving standpoint or parking standpoint. I reserved on oct 28th and I picked up on 11/14. That should have been plenty of time to make available what I reserved. ROBRobert B.

I will never rent from u again. Very dissatisfied with everything. Over-charges for gas and mileage. Then another separate bill from U-Haul and the lady in the phone claims you are not held responsible for an extra charge from the U HAUL SYSTEM? Are you kidding me? Make sure the turn signals match the vehicles signals. Also the right side light was out I relied on the employee/owner to make sure the lights worked correctly, what a mistake After an hour of driving and being pulled over by a state trooper for improper signals, I realized something was wrong I contacted the location I picked up tow dolly from and the gentleman said he'd reach out to his brother for a solution and I never heard anything back. So 13 hours of worry towing a vehicle home that had opposite turn signals from my truck Not a great experience Very dissatisfied with the lack of concern to make this situation right before traveling across countryJames S.

Shop hours on uhaul website were incorrect, which forced me to take the trailer to my office the day after I used it & rearrange my work schedule to return the trailer in time. I had selected this shop because of the advertised hours & would have selected another shop had the hours on the website been correct.David D.
Staff was courteous but trailer was not in good working order. They gave me the roadside assistance number. I hung up after waiting over 1 hour. The trailer was tugging really bad. It was an intermittent tug suggesting the trailer brakes were intermittently engaging. Even going down hill in the Smokey mountains, if I let off the gas I would quickly start to decelerate. I burned thru a ton of gas. On the return trip it finally started to normalize. I've rented the 6x12 trailer from Uhaul before so I know what it feels like to tow a full trailer of this size. This recent experience was nothing like the previous ones.MICHAEL F.

I entered into a contract with the Uhaul store on Manchester Road in Ballwin MO. On the day I was to pickup the trailer, I was told by the Ballwin store staff that my trailer had to be picked up at the Kirkwood store, IN SPITE OF HAVING SEVERAL 5X8 TRAILERS IN INVENTORY AT THAT LOCATION. I was told those trailers weren't available for 1 way rentals. None of which made sense to me along with the fact that NO ONE COMMUNICATED WITH ME IN ADVANCE about the change in the pickup location. Simply ridiculous. The staff at Ballwin gets the customer NO SERVICE award, for sure.CHARLES M.

I rented a trailer for one day. I dropped the trailer in the agreed upon spot on the same day. Their driver claimed the trailer was not dropped until the next day, double charging me. When I called the business to explain this was not right and I took pictures of when and where I dropped it, I was blown off and told to call customer service.Adam P.
