The U-haul station opened 40 minutes late, so that threw my whole day off, as I had people standing around waiting for me to show up with the truck. There was a check engine light on which the attendant told me the "U-Haul had been unable to diagnose. The check-in completion app for my phone was not uploading the pictures of the truck. I couldn't send in comments because no pictures had been uploaded.
Joseph MAs with all U-Haul locations now, the goal seems to take advantage of the customer by not delivering rentals with a truly full tank. In this case, my delivery papers said the gauge reading showed full, but the actual gauge showed between 14 & 15 16ths full. As soon as I left, I just thought I'd see what U-Haul was actually ripping me off for, and the tank took another $15 to actually be full. Luckily, I had noticed that you sent a text which had to be filled out before leaving the lot, costing me 15 minutes to correct that and several other items of BS. Shame on U-Haul and their deceitful money-grabbing practices. I rarely get rentals with full tanks, and as I'm sure you know (by design), it is very difficult to fill a tank upon return to exactly where it was when delivered. Shame on U-Haul. I've used you exclusively now for decades, but now shop around before any rental.
ROBERT DWe had registered for in person check in at 10 AM but no one showed up until close to 10:30 and there was no apology. We were told to bring the vehicle back with about a quarter tank of gas in it which we did, but we were still charged $36 for gasoline and another $30 for gasoline service fee. I have emailed the location to point out this issue, but they have not responded.

STEPHEN ETruck wasn’t swept out, location had closed early when I was sent here from the store my reservation was at, wrecker employees were working in the yard when I got there and the gate was strapped open concealing the key boxes from sight.
Richard BAt pickup it seemed pretty disorganized and like nobody there really liked their job or wanted to be there… and it seemed like they assumed I had just driven something like this before. No run-through of how to drive, where any controls were, how to open up the back or get the ramp out. I was pretty unhappy with the drop off process. On Google it says that this location is open 24/7… well, it isn't. The office closes at 3pm on Saturdays. So when we got there at 4pm, we really didn't know what to do and had to figure it out because like I said, nobody showed us how to do anything at pickup. Once we got through all the pictures etc we couldn't find a drop box because this location doesn't have a uhaul drop box like the one pictured after you take pictures for the drop off process. So we just had to hope putting the key through the mail slot was enough. Overall wish that everything were more clear upfront and that anyone had taken the time to teach us anything about how this process was meant to work.

MIKE MThe location and vehicle were fine. The mobile app pickup is not fast and easy (the return was) and took a while to navigate through even with the help of 2 very helpful employees in the call center. It took 12 attempts to open the pad lock to get the key. After 1 hour and 5 minutes on the phone. I was told to hold the lock flat while pushing it upwards so there would not be pressure on the bolt of the lock then push hard on the latch and work out the curved bolt at the top while maintaining pressure on the thumb release. That eventually worked.

Dan PCab was clean but the back had not been swept out. Also, as noted when I returned the vehicle, it also needed mechanical attention before renting to another customer. One of the tow truck drivers happened to be there the night I returned it. He was polite, professional, and helpful. Location was otherwise fine but I will only rent from one in the future that has someone on site. The online process took twice as long on the front end and back end. My disappointment in the process, though, had nothing to do with the location. Vehicle was easily accessible and the key was easy to find.

Apparently it's a real burden to speak to someone when I tried to return the truck the woman completely ignored me and shut the gate then they called and asked where the keys were after I messaged them and told them where they were. Finally they charged me more for whatever BS fees then the actual rental I cleaned it out completely even took trash over there that was there before I got it put it perfectly in its spot with the keys attempted to speak to them and ignore me and when I called them about it they hung up on me. Marjorie RLocation provided the wrong key in the beginning, resulting in losing an hour of time for myself and my friends/family helping. The dispatcher was excellent and put extra effort into getting the key with the available resources on a Saturday morning. The person in the office did not seem to care my time was wasted due to their mistake.
hannah sWas set to pick up my uhaul at 9am on a Saturday but was never told to check in early so I could get it before they opened at 10am from the lockbox. Left and came back at 10am, but the person manning the uhaul business didn't arrive until 10:15am, by this time there were already 5 other people in line. This person seemed frantic and I believe didn't know they were supposed to show up that day for work, so I don't know details of what's going on for them personally but I do know it was irritating for myself and others. Once they came and we're able to assist, things seemed to run smoothly but the lack of communication was frustrating.

TALLIS LThe location opened 15 minutes late on both my pick up and drop off date. On pick up date, after being 15 minutes late to open for business, the customer service rep completed my transaction and stated he would meet me at the vehicle. After 10 minutes waiting I went back inside where he had decided to attend to the next customer before finalizing my rental so I could depart. Business was late to open on consecutive days, unhelpful customer service and seemed to careless about my time. Will not rent from uhaul or this establishment again or recommend their service.
