christine L.The tongue of the trailer was buried in frozen dirt/rocky ground, the parking lot is all rock and dirt. It took 30 minutes to clean it up and get it hooked up to my car. *****It would be nice to have a trailer lineup that doesn't weight 2000 lbs, I don't need a trailer that weights that much and it makes the vehicle burn tons of fuel.
rich E.There was only one blanket and no dolly. My new POTTERY barn cream sofa was dragged across the floor of the truck and permanently damaged. I was required to sign a waiver to hold harmless the movers. Since there were no blankets.although I gave them several of my blankets.

Chloe W.The online service could do more to emphasize that your location for pickup may change. This has nothing to do with the location itself or its staff. This is about the online service as it was not emphasized that my original location which was mandatory in order to get a morning load in for my move would suddenly switch to a location over 30 minutes away which required me to pick the vehicle up a day earlier than anticipated in order to maintain my schedule. If not for the people at the two locations I don't dealt with, my entire move might have been screwed up.

GREG R.Our checkout took well over an hour due to a uhaul glitch. Even though my receipt and odometer showed a little over 1200 miles, the system was showing we went 20,000 miles over our allotted amount. Which was ridiculous, you can't even drive 23,000 miles in 5 days. From start to finish, issues on uhaul send, not great experience.
Donovan G.Truck was in poor condition they did not check fluids we had no transmission fluid we had to buy transmission fluid, no oil dipstick was smoking, no oil cap, truck was dirty, no air conditioning, we broke down twice overheating!

PATRICK C.When I reserved truck, the location was 5 minutes from my house. 24 hours prior to pick up, I was told I would need to drive an hour and half to pick up the truck. The staff at the pick up location were great

Matthew M.When you order a truck with a moving dolly, and moving blankets a month in advance, and you go to pick ip the truck and they have no moving supplies, just a truck, there seems to be a problem! No one said those items won't be available, so we could make other arrangements. A truck doesn't help if you can't load it or protect your furniture from getting ruined. If U-haul is going to use that location, then they need to send what you ordered to that location.
CHARLES M.Did not receive an inventory checkout sheet and the link was expired so I couldn't notate it upon leaving. Luckily there was no damage to the equipment but it would be nice to have.

KUDOS to her, I rented their truck that was previously reserved and I had it returned 1 hour before it needed to be. Shame on U-Haul for doing what you did to me!. Thank You to Pam at Mauers Trading Post in Franklin, PA, To the people that sit behind a computer at U-Haul, Customer service is still alive in Franklin, PA but not in Pittsburgh, PA
Thomas S.Your online scheduling app is horrible. Bait and switch. Then it gave NO important details on where the keybox would be located at the location. Thank God I called ahead. Then once I got ther, Iw as standing beside the truck and the app said I was not where I was supposed to be. I called the number displayed, the guy put me on hold...I walked around to the front of the building(50 ft) and the app began working...The guy got back on the line and said the treason I got that error is I was there at 730am, instead of 8am. That differs from guidance on your website and that received from the actual rental location. He was clearly clueless.

Robert F.I had to wait almost a whole hour because the previous person didn't bring it back in time. People should be charged for that. Also half of the light wasn't working on it.
Alyssa F.I paid for moving blankets but didn't receive them. I was not walked to my uhaul or shown the controls and had to find the matching ID in the lot without being told to do so. The clerk ignored me for half an hour while talking on the phone airing personal grievances loudly. No staff wore masks. No broom was in the uhaul nor was the standard dolly.
