This has not been a good experience at all my card has been charged 3 times for the same rental and all I get told is sir it’s been refunded which is not true , one of the transactions have been refunded out of 3 so yeah not a very good experience

tHE EQUIPMENT WAS CLEAN HOWEVER The truck's brakes felt bad and the engine light came on. Alos the man I got it from when i went in he was very creepy and gave me creeper vibes He forgot to give me the utility dolly so I had to call and when I opened the truck door and was waiting for him to bring it out he oh look at you all sprawled out when i was just standing on back of truck holding on to the hand rail. Not to mention the last uhaul truck I got from there last year I fell when i returned it because mauer keeps his parking lot where he keeps uphaul a sheet of ice. and it was this time also making it hard to get in and out of the truck and take pictures of them.

The uhaul had bald tires to the point that wires were sticking out. It got caught in the snow as well... delaying our move by a day.

Truck displayed massive vibrations consistently around 35mph and then again at 65mph. Cargo bay was not swept prior to my rental. I requested a 20ft truck but received a much larger 26ft truck. U-Haul regional office relayed to Maurer's Trading that I requested a one-way rental which was incorrect. Because of that statement I was not given the 20ft truck as it was reserved for local rentals only. I requested that the pickup and drop off be the same location. Upon arrival when I inquired I was told of the mistake but someone else had reserved the 20ft truck for the following day. Due to the size of the 26' truck I could not park it near the front door of the location I was delivering to. This caused a major inconvenience and hassle.

I called this location to inquire about services, I was given information and I did as asked. I called a week before the move, to schedule the pick-up. This is a busy location, without a dedicated U Haul representative, so I was told to go to the website and schedule through there. I scheduled and someone from Maurers Trading Post called me back later that afternoon. He said that they had not gotten email conformation, but that it would probably be there later that evening. I called the day before the move and there was no record of my reservation for the next day. I had gotten a text message to upload my driver's license that day, but there wasn't anything on their end. Kelly from Maurer's got my reservation changed to a different location and on our way there, we saw that Maurer's had a smaller truck on their lot and stopped to get that instead of driving 26 miles, out of our way, to get to the other rental place. They didn't have that truck available, but someone brought back a truck, so it all worked out well in the end.

at least five people around doing nothing - but the girl inside was helpful i guess she did the paper work -- but the girl at maurers told me insurance was about $8 - and i got charged $40

I had no problem with mauers. But I had a huge problem at Chippewa U-Haul and storage. Guy at the counter quoted me 3 different prices because he didn't know what he was doing. Dispatch screwed up my initial reservation and wanted me to pay an extra $350 because dispatch put my reservation as an in town rental when I first reserved it at a one way. Terrible experience with dispatch and Chippewa U-Haul and storage.

Took 75 minutes to get my rental, didn't have the truck I reserved so had to drive a larger one, had marked on rental was wrong, employee blocked truck in with their car and didn't move it for ten minutes. Awful experience.

As long as they don't keep charging me for a trailer I turned in it will be fine! The last truck I rented from there got charged for 4 extra days because UHaul claimed it was never checked in. I checked the trailer in myself today upon return.

The tongue of the trailer was buried in frozen dirt/rocky ground, the parking lot is all rock and dirt. It took 30 minutes to clean it up and get it hooked up to my car. *****It would be nice to have a trailer lineup that doesn't weight 2000 lbs, I don't need a trailer that weights that much and it makes the vehicle burn tons of fuel.

There was only one blanket and no dolly. My new POTTERY barn cream sofa was dragged across the floor of the truck and permanently damaged. I was required to sign a waiver to hold harmless the movers. Since there were no blankets.although I gave them several of my blankets.

The online service could do more to emphasize that your location for pickup may change. This has nothing to do with the location itself or its staff. This is about the online service as it was not emphasized that my original location which was mandatory in order to get a morning load in for my move would suddenly switch to a location over 30 minutes away which required me to pick the vehicle up a day earlier than anticipated in order to maintain my schedule. If not for the people at the two locations I don't dealt with, my entire move might have been screwed up.

Our checkout took well over an hour due to a uhaul glitch. Even though my receipt and odometer showed a little over 1200 miles, the system was showing we went 20,000 miles over our allotted amount. Which was ridiculous, you can't even drive 23,000 miles in 5 days. From start to finish, issues on uhaul send, not great experience.

Truck was in poor condition they did not check fluids we had no transmission fluid we had to buy transmission fluid, no oil dipstick was smoking, no oil cap, truck was dirty, no air conditioning, we broke down twice overheating!

When I reserved truck, the location was 5 minutes from my house. 24 hours prior to pick up, I was told I would need to drive an hour and half to pick up the truck. The staff at the pick up location were great

When were trying to drop the truck off, it was so dark. We couldn't see to park, had trouble finding the key drop box, and take pictures. We paid for 68 hours, but only got 60 hours.
