James was a huge help. Luckily I called ahead and he informed me there was no furniture dolly available at his location. That enabled me to call corporate whom I thought could fix the problem. They did not… stating that it was on me to make another stop and rent a dolly as a walk-in. None of the other rental facilities I called would do that for me, so I was left to find one at the local hardware store. Not really very good customer service by U-Haul. But excellent service from James at Marty's rental.

Make sure the truck is in good running condition. The abs, stabilitrack and load/haul functions was not working
Marry DFacility is very small and is not well maintained. I have rented U-Haul for many, many years and this is by far the worst for returning equipment. They need more space and more lighting. There wasn't any lighting when I returned my 6x12 enclosed trailer. To be fair I never wentnn no inside, so the facility may be better inside and during the day. I returned my equipment (originated in Waukee, IA) after hours and while it was raining. So this may have affected my overall experience with this location. At the very least Marty's Rentals needs to install more lighting.
Russell CWe used mobile pickup and it was a very long tedious process, non-intuitive. We had trouble with it getting to track our location. Would be much better if we could do some of the process ahead of time instead of in a parking lot, when we are waiting to go. The lock box was hard to open. AND THE INSTRUCTIONS ABOUT HOW MUCH FUEL NEEDED WHEN RETURNED WAS UNCLEAR IN THE ORDERING PROCESS. We did not get specific information about fuel until after the truck was picked up and we were too busy driving and loading to read the email. Also the indicated fuel line on the receipt we felt did not match what the gauge actually said. So at the end of the day we ended up with a ridiculously large charge for fuel on our bill when it was probably only 4 gallons short and there were no gas stations nearby to easily add more fuel and at the end of a long day of moving it was a very frustrating check out process with extra unexpected fuel charges incurred. And the A/C did not work in the truck, so people did not feel well after traveling so far in the heat!
Vicki HThe location was totally inconvenient for us, and when you get there the building presents as a fireworks store. Someone had to find the U Haul guy. However, once he appeared, he was helpful and efficient. He was also available by cell phone and answered questions. The location was 13 miles west of the town listed as the location. A little frustrating.
Barry WGood experience, they were great to work with. I had to call last minute and rent the truck for an extra day, then two, and they were still very cooperative.
