This location was NOT our original booked drop off point. When getting ready to drop off our equipment, the contract noted we were to call beforehand. When calling the first location, we were told that we could not drop off as they could not accommodate a 20 ft truck. Why is it listed as a drop off when making the reservation if they can't accommodate? We were then told to call U-Haul directly to find out where to take the moving van - on a Sunday afternoon!!! The rep with U-Haul was very helpful however the overall U-Haul booking experience was very disappointing... and we still need to finish the move in a couple weeks :(
Wendy FranckI asked for a in person pick up at the desk. Location said it was open. When I arrived it was closed and had no access to the truck. It took an hour and a half to work with an online rep in order for me to pick up the truck. Unacceptable to advertise being opened and then not be opened. Why offer in person if not available. I personally have no cell phone so I had to pick someone else up in order to do the online. Online was difficult, a pain in the butt and unreliable. Even the price was wrong - it doubled so again I had to call to fix it. Online to drop off was also difficult. Not enough room to take the photos so it took a long time and many tries. I was told I would be compensated for my trouble but I’ve not heard anything yet I will not ever use this location again.

David FosterDrove a 15 foot 34 miles, bill said I would be charged 102 dollars. They ended up charging me 152 bucks to drive 34 miles. This place is a joke and literally stole my money.

Kristina GarrettThe inconvenience that I encountered with uhaul was unappreciative. I had booked 2 months in advance requesting location pick up close to my home. I was notified pick up was 40 minutes away from home 2 days before I needed the vehicle. I proceeded to tell the operator that I have paid movers scheduled at my home due to original reservations. Further to this inconvenience I receive a phone call less then 24 hrs that the vehicle will not be available at the pick up time. This is so unacceptable and it will be noted on social media. Poor customer service. I will never ever use it or recommend u haul to anyone.

Minhal GhadbanThe man running this office showed up half hour late putting me behind schedule. I was forced to call the office I booked through on Gilmore Road in Fort Erie to track the owner of the office I was renting from. They got a hold of the man and he finally showed up 1/2 hour later. When he did arrive he seemed confused with computer and was required to call someone for assistance. This delayed another 1/2 hour. His office was cold and uncomfortable. The man was pleasant and apologetic but offered no deal due to his delays. The 10 foot van I rented was clean and maintained. Only complaint is the drivers seat does not adjust back. I found myself too close to steering wheel and Im only 5'8. It was uncomfortable for me but OK for the distance I was going. If long distance I would have been very uncomfortable. But thats the design of the truck. Anyway Ive rented from Uhaul before and had good experiences...Sorry this time was not!!!

jim dessonNot happy I couldn't pick up from location I requested.... close to home....and charged for extra mileage with keeping truck for 19 days would think be a little extra also gas tank was returned with 1/2 tank Not 1/4 tank and no credits like the days when truck went out full returned full easier done. No extra mobey in your pocket when customer over fills

jandb musicWhen I arrived to my pick up point, they did not have a truck available. They called and the truck was at another location. Some one from U-Haul could of contacted me regarding a change for pick up. Alot of time was wasted through this.

JOHN DALINGWATERThe person who was there for me to sign contract told me that the truck was half full as it stated in the contract. I trusted this to be true. When I got to vehicle, the tank had a quarter left in it and the person who had me sign the contract was gone. He expressed to me to make sure to fill the tank at the end so it was half full or I would be fined. Mistake I made was trusting Uhaul employee and not reading contract word for word because essentially I should have had a refund for filling the truck to half full when I for the tank at a quarter; have a picture to prove it as well.

PETER MAZZARINIOur experience on moving day was dreadful! At eight am I received a call from your Bowden location telling me our 14 foot truck had been rented to someone else the night before. We had reserved it 2 weeks earlier. Stress levels on moving day are high anyway, to be told you have no truck is terrible. We did get the truck thanks to Lizette, we had also dealt with Graham at your Stevensville location and he was excellent!
MELANIE SCREENthey charged me for cleaning and sweeping out a truck that i cleaned out and swept before i took back,because i was warned about a uncleaned truck charge when i rented.is this just another way for you to rip off a customer.i would not recommend u haul to anybody if this charge is not taken off my bill

GRANT INGRAMThe computer at this place was down so I couldn't get a receipts was told I would be emailed one but never did. I was not given a walk around or an inspection before I took the truck. I've never rented one before so I didn't know it was a procedure. When I picked it up Saturday the gas was empty. Driving the truck the wheel was very loose you had to drive it holding on tight not a good look when I was driving from fort Erie to Hamilton . I'm pretty sure this vehicle hasn't been inspected on a regular basis. I returned it I was told that I was late so I would be charged an extra day because I was supposed to have returned it by 1pm not for when the store closed as the guy at the fort erie location told me. And I didn't have a receipt to explain that. The gas was below 1/4 tank when I got it so that's what I returned it at, but apparently on the contract it said it was at 1/4 tank . Thankfully I took a picture of the mileage with the tank at below the 1/4 mark and showed it to the man at the drop off location or else I would have to have paid the charge. It was a bad experience over all and I would hate to rent again. Gladly I had a nice guy at the drop off location who was understanding of the whole situation. I'm sure if I had anyone else it wouldn't have gone smoothly and I wouldn't have got my deposit back. Oh and another thing he said that I should have received a contract / receipt because if I got pulled over or anything happened they probably would have thought I stole the truck I had no proof of rental. This was my first time renting so I was oblivious hopefully I never have to rent from here again. I hope this helps you straighten some situations out and my bad experience hopefully can be addressed and no bobby else has to experience this bad customer service.

BRUCE STAPLETONComputer would not work so I had to leave credit card and license info with clerk, no contract signed or given, when I returned at noon location was locked, I left keys in drop box and was charged for unauthorized safe move and $20 for gas after less than 30 km? Your representative at the 1-800 number said she would resolve this matter and contact me that day. Still no response!
