I only give the rating of average because I paid $145.63 in cash when I returned the uhaulâ€¦20 mins later my card was also charged for the same amount of $145.63. I paid the mileage and gas on my card and it was $45 and the change which was the only charge that was suppose to be on my card. Now I'm having to wait for my money to be put back into my account and it's frustrating having to wait for my money. They were nice and polite about the incident with my card being charged but it's an inconvenience for me having to wait for my money.JESSICA W.

The attendant manipulated my bill and overcharged me. Twice. Once by adding in too many miles till I showed him the dashbaord photo that I took and the second time by giving different rates than I signed up for. He just kept talking and talking, pretending to be busy, and wouldn't listen until I made him. The van was not swept out when I got it, either. I won't go back to them for a rental.Brian R.

Van was filthy, never received a contract, all we got was here is the pick-up place and how much it was going to cost. I was told when I returned it that we were to have put gas in the van, never was told. He told me it was in the contract, never saw. I still haven't received a receipt for the transaction, I was told there printer never worked. Bad experience !!!Jim E.

clean and detail the trucks. the back of it almost looked black and the inside had dust and crumbs everywhere. I shouldn't have to take a truck to a car wash to clean the inside so i could be comfortable. there was something smeared into the passenger seat. my girlfriend was with me and she has a very severe peanut allergy and we were terrifiedJoanne S.

No ball on the hitch of the truck, and one was not available. Was told I had to wait to check in until all the gas station customers behind me in line where checked out. Attended at location then became very rude and raised her tone with me when I told her that was unacceptable. As I still had to wait, I called YOUR customer service where the first lady hung up on me due to the attended yelling at me I'm assuming. Called again and after 35+ minutes on hold I simply received a $50 credit for the equipment guarantee which does nothing in my mind to resolve the entire horrible customer service experience received from both sides of uhaulMichael M.

The overall experience rental experience went very well. I actually rented a trailer that would not fit my needs and the owner was able to redo my contract for the correct uhaul with ease. I'm very grateful for that. However, I had family there to assist me and they were not treated as well while they were hooking up the rental. They were screamed at by a female who had just driven up, asked them what that were doing and yelled that they needed to go inside the store first. Had she asked questions first , instead of assuming, she would've known the paperwork was being completed already inside the store. As I said the owner was great to work with and very pleasant but his family ( I'm assuming she was family) May cost him future customers if she continues to verbally assault customers in the parking lot without knowing the whole story.Cheryl A.

Customer service need improved alot. I got over charged. When I returned truck the lady said everything was good and I didnt owe anything. I told her I was charged 45.69 yesterday 5/21/2021. I returned it 5/22/2021. She told me they wouldn't touch the 45.69. I get home and checked my bank accounts and they took the 45.69 plus 14.43. My husband called and they said I went over miles. Ok I get that but in the first place how didnt they know yesterday I was over miles and I had the truck. And secondly she told me we owed nothing. The place is a RIP offWilliam W.

My scheduled pickup was for 7 am. They were late opening so that put me behind schedule. The truck was dirty, had a cracked windshield, low air in back tire, and the left rear taillight was non functioning. Not happy that I paid for a badly maintained vehicle but had no other option at that point. When I returned the vehicle I had to question the charges because they almost charged me for a two day rental. I won't go back to this location to rent again.JENNIFER H.

Just close this location. Inexperienced, unprofessionalism, lied, dirty pick up. DO NOT RENT A U-HAUL here. I picked an open Pickup truck on 4/9/2021, the seller lied initially, â€œ the gas â›½ï¸ is half full.â€ I said, no it is not. She did not know I already took pictures showed 1/4. Then, she changed her story â€œ I didn't have a time to check from my previous client.â€ The truck was nasty from the back w/ liquid like... poring on tailgate. yes, we I took more pictures before and after for that one too. Broken frontal glasses that she didn't mentioned... I got that one on my camera. I supposed to return the truck by the same time I took it; thus, 11:30. First she said, return it by 9:30am. I didn't listen to her cause I know when I took the truck. The story became more interesting when I was returning the pickup truck. I had some challenge to close the tail gateâ€"- all who have CHEVY knows what I mean by closing the back gate. I told her if she could help, lift and close the tail gate; she refused and said, â€œ I will charge you for breaking it.â€ She called someone with an accent, I believe this was the son. ... all didn't know how to open or close the tailgate of the Pickup. I needed someone, just to hold one side of the tailgate to lock in ... I spent nearly 1-2 hours arguing that her truck is not broken. This is how manufacturer did it. then her son on the phone ... she said, because you said, â€œ you will file a complaint, minds well I will charge you for another day.â€ Which initially she said it was ok for an hour drop off late.I said, ok, I wasted time arguing with you on how to properly closed your truck... she said, â€œ I am not a mechanic to close the tailgate.â€ I told her, you should focus on selling gas and keep up with your store and let U-HAUL business to UHAUL. She said, â€œ I just get paid 2% of U-HAUL profit& I don't make a lot of money.â€ A Good Samaritan man came up and helped me to lift the tailgate and we both closed the gate. She is hustling& her plan is to charge extra and customer service is not an option. Stay out out of this store, especially for U-HAUL. MARIO's DELI & GRIL, sad placeLAURENT N.

Please be polite to customers. Please have working vehicles, the vehicle I had did not have working brakes, did not have brake lights that were operable, the oil light came on, the brake light came on, the tire light pressure light was on in the vehicle. The vehicle was dirty on the inside and the outside bay. Above all the customer service was horrible I have never felt more disrespected at uhaul disgusting behavior by the dealer at uhaul I will use this service dealer and I will share this with the individual and companies I know as a officer here in North Carolina. We don't treat people this way. Everyone should be treated with the same level of respect. This dealer does not know how to treat people with respect at all. Don't give out non working equipment that can cause bodily harm and injury to the individual and others out on the road maintain your equipment. Your given enough funds from the renters to maintain the equipment as a dealer and uhaul should see to it that the trucks and equipment is maintained.
