Ron BTerrible service. There was nobody there to help take the trailer off my car. I was told a drop fee wouldn’t be charged and it was - a $900 drop fee. The lady was rude and extremely unhelpful.
Brittany RFix your website and mobile experience. Explain to your customers that E10, you can actually put regular gas and not drive around for 30 miles trying to find E10. Then when you get customer service on the actually solve an issue. Nothing was resolved and I got charged extra for gas. Never using uhaul again. Ever...

keith dService trucks more often. Maybe you do. Had some shifting issue's with and without it loaded. Also had issue's with the pick up location changing 4 different times farther and farther away from our original location by the time our date arrived and we booked it in advance. Gets confusing. Gas is high right now adding extra miles to our contract didn't help much with that part.

Other than that I had no major problems. I can honestly say i would recommend this storage facility to a friend.

Elvys pEnsure a more streamlined check in/reservation process along with requiring your locations to have reliable internet and phone service to complete the transaction. In addition there should be a localized backup procedure if the online system isn’t available.
Michael DKeep track of your trucks. I reserved it in Mechanicsville and 10 minutes before I got there, I was updated to Quinton, Va.
James DThe amount of political signs/ political memorabilia was excessive, and the woman running that location has a sign on the door stating she will not wear a mask and to enter at your own risk. It also took 45 minutes just for her to do the paper work required for me to rent the trailer I was picking up. I won’t return to that location.
Jesse FAt the time of rental I was advised if I returned the rental earlier than the allotted 4days I would only be charged for the days used. I turned in 1day early and was advised I would be charged the full 4days. Very dissatisfied customer.

Thomas GThey gave us the dirtiest truck on the lot. Both inside and outside. The Bed of the truck was filled with dirt and small pieces of metal, which we had to sweep out. Within 2 hr of getting the truck, we had a flat tire and had to have a UHaul roadside service come and put a new tire on the truck.
John KA 6 x 12 trailer with brakes should have a Jack to lift it up and connect it. Way to heavy empty for one person to connect.
Michael SWe ordered a dolly to help with our move, it was not in the truck when we picked it up. This made our move difficult. Also, the code did not work to access the key. We had to call support for assistance. Not a great experience.

Patrick SI had many issues picking up my uhaul had to drive 30 minutes after my guarantee was incorrect. Then never got my 50$ refund because they don’t care I will never recommend uhaul to anyone
Ammon DIf a customer orders moving pads and you can’t provide them, then you should tell them in advance. Also dirty trucks are a poor image.
Carlton HIf you plan to rent here make sure you don't have to move out in the middle of the month because the manager of this facility will not refund any of your money.

John DLocation was changed three times and turned out to be a 2-hour drive from where I requested pickup. Nothing was said about this, up front, the location of pickup just kept changing with the usual excuses, "lots of holiday use." Location was out in the middle of nowhere.

GLENDA CMy experience with the self-checkout was horrendous. I spent 1.5 hours on the phone with customer service establishing checkout. This extended and already long day. Checking back in requires customer service again. As well, the check in location changed. Whether it was the holiday period or the on-line app, I would never recommend this feature from Uhaul.

Malcolm KWent to return truck on same day I rented, couldnt find drop box. Called uhaul help line. They said trucks on one side of the road, office for drop box on the other. So dropped key. When I clicked on info for receipt my acct says zero. I returned truck to drop off point same day I rented. With full tank of gas and my limited mileage of 40 miles. Not sure what is going on? Please contact me if any questions? I also called the business owner and let them know. Thank you have a good day
Lori DI was billed twice after trying to explain to the lady that I had already done the process online, she insisted to do it again on her own, and put in my credit card info again after I made it CLEAR I WAS AFRAID OF BEING DOUBLE BILLED.
Steven MThis was a disaster. I had to change the reservation 3 times. When I went to pick up the vehicle, the quoted cost was $102. Sign says $19.95/day. Wow. What a scam. Plus $10 for gas. Then when I picked up the truck, the rep took about 30 min to prepare the paperwork. This delay made my son who was helping me, late to work. The rep took to other calls and a walk in during the time she was "helping" me. I should have been taken care of before taking calls or helping anyone else. I will let others I know in my county know to stay away from Uhaul
Stephen vMy truck and trailer were not ready. The women in office did not know what to do. They went to a nearby donut shop and a customer said he knew how to hook the trainer to the truck, but no one knew how to put my car on the trailer. We figured it out, but upon drop off were informed that it was not corrected loaded and could had rolled off. The whole process took 2 hours.
JOYCE TNo one is ever there. you just drop it and go. If you have problems or questions no on answers the phone. I am not happy that I was charged extra for mileage as I didn't see this on my contract.
Cathy AMy only concern is how much gas prices can range from one UHaul provider to another. West Point Virginia charges 89 cents per mile and Providence Forge Virginia (20 miles away maybe) is 1.69 per mile? I ordered a Uhaul in West Point for a day and the charge was 41.00 due to circumstances beyond my control I had to change to March Mini Storage & UHaul and just within a 20 mile difference I wound up having to pay 141.00 for a 1 day rental....9:00 to 5:00. Just seems a little off to me. There really shouldn't be THAT much difference between providers. And this is the reason that I would not recommend this company to my friends.
JO AI had to call Uhaul and ask that this location (2 miles from my house) be designated my prefer drop off . Uhaul had me going out of my way 20 plus miles to drop off.
David BPerson wasn't there to do the rental. An employee of their other business just happened to in. She was nice and I was late in arriving but it was kind of discouraging since the employee did not have access to the computer for reservations. Fortunately though she called UHAUL and they did it over the phone. Worked out in the end

LEVI Cwe went to reserve the truck for two days and the owner said "you don't need to the truck will be there tomorrow". We went to pick up the truck the next day and he had rented it out. We got another truck but we had to bring it back the next day and get another truck that cost more because it was a larger truck. We also paid extra milage to trade the trucks. At this point I don't believe we will ever rent a Uhaul again. There are other companies available.
