We rented a truck with an appliance dolly and a utility dolly. The truck was there, but not the dollies. We were not informed that the dollies would not be available. When called, we were given a couple of locations to go and pick up the dollies. Not only are we charged for the miles to these locations, the dollies were also not available there.Tan D.
No problem with this location. They are a small repair shop that also does Uhaul rentals. My problem is with Uhaul itself. The location that I was supposed to return the truck to is only 1 mile from my destination. I received a phone message the night before saying they don't except 26' trucks. Uhaul was supposed to text me with an alternate location. They never did. I had to call the morning of and was instructed to take it to an alternate site 24 miles away. Evidently the closest location to accept large trucks. I am grateful the Manchaca Service Center stepped up but am mad at Uhaul for not telling me in the first place a correct location that accepts 26 footers!JAMES W.

The link to check the truck back in is inactive, and trying to return the truck via uhaul.com/share didn't work on two iphones using safari because, even though both phones' settings were set to share our location on Safari, the uhaul website on both phones would not recognize that we had turned on location sharing. This was frustrating, especially because we were tired and hungry after days of moving heavy items. I dropped off the key anyway at the drop box and called early the next day to inform the manager. Fortunately, he was helpful and I don't believe we were charged anything extra.Kevin N.

The manchaca service station location is fine, if you don't like nice people. The owner is very gruff.. he also charged me for 2 extra hours I didn't use. I won't be returning to this location I'll drive further to visit another location. I always need a truck as I pick up storage units from auction but this man won't get anymore of my businessBrian D.

Make either the Mobile App or the Website's after-hours drop-off work. The Website (from my phone) could not get my location, so I could not proceed with drop-off. The Mobile App never accepted my photos, so I could not proceed with drop-off.Carlos S.

I did not realize it was a neighborhood Uhaul. I was unsure about it when I arrived but The contact was very professional and helpful even after my apt ended up not being ready and I had to keep the Uhaul overnight. I had trouble with location services on my phone and the U-Haul app. I would have been disappointed if I couldn't execute the pickup if someone hadn't been there to help. It worked out. But it was a potential issue with the UHaul app and my phone.Brian C.

Improve your website so it keeps the time and day the rental was originally set at. Get rid of the small pick up areas like Manchaca because I ended up stopping at 3 different locations (4 hrs of my time) to get what I ordered THEN get charged for the full two days. I used this location because it was near my home, but I will not use it again. I was overcharged and it took me over 4 days and many phone calls to finally get someone to listen to my issue. It has now been 10 days since I rented a truck and I am still waiting for my refund.Gilda P.

STOP RENTING TRUCKS TO CUSTOMERS WITH LESS THAN FULL GASOLINE! The gas went down an eighth as soon as I drove off. I had to pay 10 dollars in gas to drive 15 miles in a 10 ft truck. It's a scam. Charge the customer a service fee for the gas if they don't bring it back full, then, in instead of refilling it, pass it on to the next person and make them play a game to try and get the gas back to exact place on gas gauge. I'll never rent from this place again,Joseph S.

I was there at 2 when they opened and no one was there so I waited. Google said open from 2-5. No one showed. I finally called customer service and after being on hold for awhile, I was able to get online and the nice gal walked me thru the process. I don't want to malign this location cuz they might have had an emergency but wanted you guys to know. I also don't want to get charged any extra fees since it was not my fault. Ive used uhaul 3 times in 4 years and have never had any issues.Debbie S.

YOU ARE CHARGING ME FOR AN EXTRA DAY WHEN I DIDNT USE IT AN EXTRA DAY. THE GUY ON THE PHONE SAID IT WAS A MISTAKE AND THAT I WOULDN'T BE CHARGED AND STILL WAS. NOW I HAVE TO WASTE MY TIME CALLING AND ARGUING TO GET BACK MY $60. NOWHERE IN THE APP DID IT SAY THAT MY DROP OFF TIME WAS 8AM. I PICKED THE SPECIFIC LOCATION BECAUSE I COULD CHOOSE THE 6PM DROP OFF TIME. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND BECAUSE OF THIS.DavidLee M.
I took almost 45 mins to checkin through the mobile site. Long stretches would go by with cryptic messages from a virtual agent. She was clearly looking at multiple conversations at one time time not reading the history before responding. It all had a very rude and quick tone rather than trying to be helpful, as if I was trying to steal the truck and she was preventing a crime from happening.Matthew R.

I rented a U-Haul, two dozen furniture pads and a dolly. I also rented from U-Haul's website movers to move my items to the truck. We picked up the U-Haul as planned but no dolly nor furniture pads were inside the truck. We were never told this in advance nor advised a way to go about getting them. I am not sure how one can move items without these basic essentials. However, after speaking with U-Haul again, I was told to drive to a different U-Haul facility to pick up a dolly and furniture pads. We drove to a different facility and were told that no dolly was available. What this comes down to is not only did I not get what I ordered but was advised by U-Haul that another facility had the items, but in reality, they did not. We also had multiple issues with the moving company we were provided on U-Haul's website but I am being advised that this is not U-Haul's issue. However, I would not recommend booking the movers through U-Haul's site because there is zero accountability on U-Haul's end.Robin M.
