Honestly if you are working on a tight schedule this uhaul is not the place to rent from. This place does not have enough vehicles to support demand. The person who checks you in could careless about your reservation. The attitude here is, “the reservation is only meant to secure a vehicle, nothing more”. They will not make things right, instead they will pass the issue onto corporate and inform you to take it up with them. This location made it very clear that do not care for their customers or the customers needs. At last if you are a person who plans everything to the tee do not come to this location. They will not honor your reservation nor will they accommodate you for their lack of customer service. I would not return to this site again.

ONE REALLY BAD THING: I wanted to know if Ezy Pay was on the cargo truck and while driving called the location phone number again and again. No one would answer. The voicemail said no mail box was set up. THAT PHONE SHOULD BE ANSWERED. I had to call the 800 number and was on hold for a a total of 31 minutes for a conversation of 1 minute .(3 calls as I had to hang up and start again) UNACCEPTABLE. TERRIBLE . AWFUL!!!

Everything was fine until I received my final bill. The fine print in the contract is so small that it is very hard to read even with reading glasses and lack of lighting in the truck. I had returned the truck around 4 hours later but was charged for 2 days for a total of $37.44 extra. I called the main office for U-Haul but was told to call the location that I rented it from but everytime that I call it goes to someone's personal cell phone. I leave a message but so far have not gotten a call back. I thought the initial estimate of $82 was a little high but getting charged an extra $37 is theft. The woman whom I dealt with at the location had a slight accent and was wearing a mask, as was I, and there was a partition separating us which also made it hard to hear so that didn't help the situation.

The van I had booked had not arrived back in time, so I decided to wait a little bit. In the meantime they booked me the only remaining truck just to make sure I had something. I did end up taking the truck, which was fine and I was grateful for the helpful and friendly customer service. And for the help backing out of the driveway onto the street! Will book from here again, thanks!

I liked the contactless check in, everything was done on the phone, I picked up the keys from a locked box and that was it. This was a huge improvement from last year when I had to do it with a person and this included "ID verification" which consisted of them calling my friend to verify that this is indeed me (?!?!?!). Evidently, hearing on the phone "Yeah, that's him" from my half asleep friend carries more weight with Uhaul than US passport and NY driver license.

Truck was beat up. The Uhaul system apparently was asking for information that I provided when I booked the reservation. 5 minutes before I was to arrive I was told that they didn't have drop clothes and she tried to send me somewhere else. I provided information i.e. emergency contact and she indicated system wanted another name/number I provided that and then i was told that the name and number for emergency was in the system so I couldn't use it which was insane . I don't know if it was the uhaul system or the location but a horrible experience trying to check out.

The place kabayan is blocks away from the uhaul branch itself. Customer verification should be done. Hours before the specific rental start time. Took me an hour to get the van cuz of verification. But all jn all it is ok

This location was booked by a UHaul CS rep because my first location did not have the keys ready. The service provider at this location didn't seem terribly sympathetic, suggesting I was at fault for not being able to collect vehicle keys. Also, I returned the vehicle within my originally scheduled time (10 AM to 2 PM) despite having lost an hour due to changing rental locations. The service provider gave me a lecture about returning the vehicle on time. For some reason when the CS rep rebooked the location, it was reserved for only two hours (11 AM to 1 PM) instead of the original four. I felt like the service provider at this location was quick to blame me for problems outside of my control.

This was the worst moving experience I have ever encountered! I was called the night before by the lot owner saying that I could arrive to pick up the truck whenever I wanted to after my 8am booking time. Upon arriving at 9am, I was unable to access my UHaul account as the reference code had not been sent to me. I called the customer service location three times and was on hold for thirty minutes collectively. When I was able to access my account, it said that my booking had expired and I had to call again and be put on hold again while I was standing outside in the cold. When I received the key code, the lock was too rusty or jammed shut so I could not access the key inside the box. I had to call again and be put on hold only to find out that I had to drive further away to access a new truck in a different location. This process delayed my move by two hours and I am not happy at all with this! From having my booking cancelled, to waiting outside in the cold for an hour, to having to go to another location for my truck, this moving process was made worse by UHaul! I would like my payment refunded due to the unacceptable service I received when trying to pick up my truck.
