The most confusing place I have ever been to.. the building made no sense and there were no signs.. walked around the building a few times before I figured out I was supposed to check in on my phone. There was basically no instructions given when I reserved my truck.

This is an extremely dangerous part of town, and is a very secluded location next to an overpass that looks like people could easily hide under.

RAMON BRICEMy order was originally to be picked up in Lawrence with a furniture dolly. They didn’t have this trailer in Lawrence so I had to go to Topeka (30 minute drive) the other way, to come back to Lawrence then move our stuff to Olathe then to take it back to Topeka at the end of the day. And also didn’t get a furniture dolly. I understand things happen but it was still inconvenient to have to go that far out of our way, and took time out of our reservation time. The staff was great and understanding and I know it’s not their fault.

DAVID BROWNGET MORE EQUIPMENT. I had to drive over 50 miles to get a trailer .to use for a few hours. When I got there they had 3 of them. Then if I wanted to return the trailer to a local "dealer" it would cost me an extra $80.00. If that's how you want to do business maybe I should just buy a trailer! Needless to say I am not real happy right now. Would I recommend renting a trailer? Only if they first listen to the whole story of how my day went.

JANE ALFORDI arrived to check the vehicle in at 1025 am the hours of operation were until 11am, I met the owner on the street in front of the business leaving and I asked him if he could help me check my rental in before he leaves and his reply was NO, I HAVE AN APPOINTMENT. HE STATED TO LEAVE THE RENTAL IN THE STREET AND PUT THE KEY IN THE DROP BOX, I TOLD HIM I DIDNT FEEL COMFORTABLE DOING SO WITH IT TECHNICALLY NOT BEING CHECKED IN AND HE STATED AGAIN, IM LEAVING...I was at his facility almost 30 minutes early to check in. I had to call customer service and wait on the phone to cover myself with a nice lady who was willing to help me over the phone...this business owners action in topeka kansas cost me to be very late the rest of the day and miss mother's day with my family because I had to stay on site in topeka an extra hour or so to make sure I was covered with leaving a vehicle unchecked which while I should have been traveling to see family. The rude business owners selfishness at the return drop off in topeka cost me to loose out on mothers day with my family...I would suggest finding someone who values your company and represents what UHAUL has built over yrs which is a good reputation...this owner at the mahnopoly LLC does not care about customer service...

Xavier YoungWhen I initially rented the U-Haul, Mr. Mah was friendly and helped me get what I needed. The next day I received the email with my itemized bill. I was charged for a dolley and furniture pads which I did not rent. Mahnopoly's computer was having issues so it took a while to get the rental done, which I did not mind, but we literally had a short conversation about the fact that I did not need a dolley. When I called Mahnopoly about this error, Mr. Mah asked if I had called the U-Haul customer service line. I asked him if he could correct the issue and he said that refunds come through U-Haul. I asked him to look into it and questioned why he would not be able to process refunds through his store. He said he would look at it when he was back in the store and call me in 15 minutes. I have not heard from Mr. Mah again. I then looked at the statement again and realized he had billed me for 2 gallons of gas which was also incorrect. He told me more than once to return the truck with the same amount of gas that it had when I got it. I returned the gas with the same amount of gas that it had when it got it and he charged me for more. I visited the store and talked to a different associate who said that they were looking into the issue. Definitely get an itemized statement before letting them run your card at this store. Renting a $19.99 truck ended up being over 70 dollars with all these extras added on.
Maegan O callaghanIT IS NOT THE CONTRACTED DEALER BECAUSE THEY WERE AWESOME BUT UHAUL CHARGED ME $120 TO "CLEAN" THE MUD ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE TRUCK WHICH I MOVED IN THE RAIN THEN CHARGED ME FOR 3 DAYS WHEN I HAD IT ONLY 2 DAYS. MANAGER AT CALL CENTER HAS YET TO CALL ME REGARDING THIS CHARGE. ITS BEEN 72 HOURS.
