Not call me the day before informing me I have to pick up my rental over a hour away from my requested location! Very crappy of you Uhaul! This was a huge inconvenience costing me time and money!
Dick Williams at Madison Line storage service in Earlville, NY was excellent to work with. He went above and beyond to help me get everything done to complete my request. He even stayed open late to help accommodate me when I was having some electrical hookup issues with my vehicle. He was friendly, patient, and extremely competent. I will definitely go back and do business with Mr. Williams!!
You should probably do a better job informing the people who manage the location of when they have customers coming to get equipment. I arrived on time and waited for 20 minutes for someone to show up and get my truck.

Online check in and return were very cumber-sum and took along time. When I tried to check truck back in, had to start over 6-7 times and then was not sure it was complete when it was.
The truck wasn't on the original lot I booked via phone with customer service, so I was switched to a new location much further away. It seemed like this happens a lot, yikes. Even after 2 customer service calls, things were still not right when I got to the location, so the manager had to redo the transaction and it took 30+ minutes to get out the door. The manager was nice though and worked with me to keep the price down.
This location was not my choice. I reserved the van at B&D Pool and Spa. I was emailed Friday 9/20/19 that my reservation was updated to this location. When I called B&D I was told the truck broke down. I was told I would be compensated for the mileage difference. When I arrived at the Earlville location the agent was having issues with his computer with another client. With my reservation he had no issues. However no mention was made of the compensation for the mileage difference. Maybe the agent was not obligated to compensate my mileage. He did, in the end, compensate the extra mileage after I mentioned it. The overall experience has left me nervous of using these locations or even U-Haul again.
This location was great. U-Haul customer service overall was the worst I've ever experienced. My first order was wrong and I had to cancel it. The next order, the pick up location was changed on me last minute. Overall I would not recommend U-Haul to anyone.
Nothing the manager there Mr. dick was very helpful for my move planning.

This office was extremely helpful and kind. As I had to drive 32 miles to get there to pick up a trailer I could've picked up ten minutes from my house

When a truck says air ride and I end up in the hospital due to a blown back there is a problem. Quite frankly I am contemplating sending U-haul the damn bill because I spent over 250.00 PLUS the gas and now have an Urgent Care bill and then being sent to the medical center I can't imagine what that is going to cost me. Please feel free to contact me as my blown back is directly from that blasted falsely advertised “air rideâ€. I should have gone with another moving rental place. I would have saved myself hours and hours between urgent care and the medical center

easy and great to deal with
the only problem was we had to take a larger trailer than we really wanted to as the smaller size was not available anywhere. You need to stalk more of the 6 by 8 trailers.
Great service! When we had trouble with the U-Haul website, Richard made several phone calls to be sure that we had a trailer at our pick-up site and then returned it to him. Will be recommending him to anyone looking to rent a U-Haul.

IAM VERY DISSAPOINTED WITH THE BILL I WAS TOLD THAT TO KEEP YOUR TRUCK IN BOUCKVILLE FOR THE ANTIQUE SHOW WASNT GOING TO COST SO MUCH.I HAVE RENTED OTHER TRUCKS IN THE PAST AND THE COSTS FOR USEING THEM WERE NO WHERE NEAR THE COST THAT I WAS CHARGED THIS TIME. IAM USEUALLY CHARGED A BUSINESS RATE AND THIS TIME I DIDNT GET TREATED VERY WELL AND I GUESS NEXT TIME I MAY HAVE TO GO TO PENSKEY OR ANOTHER TRUCKING RENTAL. YHIS BILL SHOCKED ME VERY MUCH, AND THIS WAS A ANTIQUE SHOW ONLY 10 MILES FROM EARLVILLE and the truck used 43=00 dollars in fuel? something isnt right here AT ALL IAM VERY PISSED OFF ABOUT THIS CHARGE REGGIE BIGFORD
The Pick Up place was new, the man running it was enthusiastic and went that extra yard to be of assistance. When you are stressed with a move, he was the right man to make some of the anxiety go away and help us through the process. Good Luck to him, we hope he is very successful with his new enterprise.
