Dangerously negligent location. They didn't properly secure the trailer to my ball hitch, and it came flying off while I was driving down redwood road. I had to get a wild trailer under control while slowing from 50 mph. Could have done thousands of dollars of damage, or if I'd been next to a cyclist or a motorcycle, killed someone. The owner was condescending and showed incredibly poor professionalism. He's lucky it was an empty trailer and that no damage was done, because M1 did a terrible job through and through. Don't rent from here.

Terrible Service!! Attempted to return my Uhaul a day early and asked the very rude lady at the front desk to check if I had returned the vehicle with enough gas to avoid the upcharge. If not I was willing to drive to nearby gas station a few blocks away and add a few extra gallons. There were dogs jumping on me as well as kids running around inside the office. I gave her the keys and rather than working with me she sat in the cab of my uhaul and up charged $67 then became very belligerent when I again explained my situation. She placed her hand on her hip and told me to read my contract that I had signed. This is simply unacceptable customer service on every level.

Changed my pickup location last minute. Forced me to do online checkin. Took forever, didn't work well. On return â€" even though during business hours â€" the guy said he sent home the lady who checks us in. So I had to do online checkin. Again, clunky and slow. Poor customer service. He then threatened that if even one crumb had to be wiped off the dashboard we'd be charged a minimum $100 cleaning fee. I guarantee we won't be paying that. Not after driving this truck 14 miles and getting charged like $45 for gas and mileage â€" what a joke. The prior customer didn't even leave it full and I'm sure I'm getting charged for their gas and mileage. This place is a joke.

Give me a discount for the miles that were due to the lack of availability at the location I selected. My preferred/selected location was less than 2 miles away. I was required to drive about 5 miles instead. Feel like I paid extra for nothing. Would love a call from U-Haul saying I'll be given a discount for the extra 6 miles that were charged at $1.29 per mile. Thanks.

The representative did not listen to a thing I said. I opted out of the insurance and yet was charged. She forgot to give me the blankets I had requested and I had to go back for them. Very poor experience and I would expect more from Uhaul and those that represent that brand.

The M1 location did an excellent job taking care of us. My move was moved forward two days, and my wife is pregnant, so I was not having a great time moving. I was running late, and when I showed up they had everything ready to go. Even the extra equipment I had rented was already in the truck. It was such a weight lifted off my shoulders. ¡Gracias!

I left my car parked there Infront of the building and took the van to help my neice move, when we got done an HR later I look at my phone and see that I missed a call from the owner saying my car got towed cause it was park Infront of the car bay and he tried to call us for an HR. I didn't have a problem with that, besides he could have told me before I left to not leave my car parked Infront, he said there signs everywhere and he shouldn't have to tell anyone. Well I just pulled up to the building and parked and got out, it wouldn't hurt to remind people or ask them where they parked but Instead just town a vehicle for the fun of it it seams. I won't be going back to this location cause there is literally no where to park.

I can't think of anything to improve this location. I always rent from Uhaul but have not used this particular location. I had to use it because all other locations that I typically use were closed for a state holiday on the day that I needed the truck, and all showed no vehicles available because they were closed. Even though Uhaul has online pick-up and return abilities, it was very difficult to find an available vehicle that day. This location is a little out of my way but I will likely use them in the future.

I always thought that the customer came first, but when something happens all uhaul cares about is getting their money and their truck. That's it just the bottom line. Screw the people. Threaten them. Nice job

Poor signage. I passed the place three times. The name of the repair facility that was renting the U-Haul was small and not noticeable. I don't know how they would have rented me a truck if I didn't have a modern smartphone. I checked in and then they sent me a text with a link. I don't always carry a smartphone and the worker explained that they don't know how else to rent it to me without a smart device for me to take a picture of my ID.
