I got wrong info on the size I needed from the scheduler. My online check in was for a different location. The only trailer at the correct location was way too small. I ended up having to rent a truck & my $25 trailer rental ended up being a $114 truck rental. Happy with the location, truck but not happy with the lady on the phone who set me up for a bad experience.

The people at Lutz are amazing so this has nothing to do with them. Absolutely terrible service wont use again. And I will be reviewing. First off a week ago I was sent to 2 different uhauls because you allow rental anywhere online even if not available. Then my card was charged at the second location before checking to see if my vehicles hitch was acceptable. Then with the method of refund took 5 days to hit my account so once that money got put back on my card I attempted this all over again. Sent to 2 different stores upgraded my hitch the check that it would work it checked out. So then my card was charged. Then when she hooked it up we were both shocked to see that there was no wiring harness. So then she refunded me again. I dont blame her or this location for any of my issues. My issues dont include the facilities I rented from. Employees at both locations were amazing especially 28th street. You're lucky to have her on your team! Luckily I had the extra money. So I went back to lutz in camas rented a truck. Went back to 28th street and rerented the car dolly. And we're off. I get to the destination and get stuck in mud because of a flat. I called uhaul roadside gave them and address was told they would text with an update of eta. I didnt not get an update for 2 hrs and in the update they said 90mins until arrival I had my 3yr and 17yr old with me. I could not wait any longer so I paid a gentleman $30 cash to change my tire and pull me out of the mud. I dont care about the reimbursement for that. I want a reimbursement for this whole dang rental. It was a freaking nightmare of service. Honestly the only thing that will rectify this and to keep me using uhaul and chalking it up to just bad luck is to refund my whole rental for the truck and the car dolly. I'm not trying to be threatening with ultimatums, I'm just being totally honest that if this isnt corrected people will hear about it and I wont be using uhaul ever again. Thanks for your time

van was dirty inside and out, gas tank was 3/4 full, which makes it difficult to estimate how much gas to put in on return. Lutz is terrific, was disappointed with van (earlier this month had great van from same location).

My only thing is i had the van for 5 hours and 125 miles. Yet i got charged for a whole day. Not exactly the $20 rate you all advertise. Now i knew it'd cost a bit more than that and i did take the insurance. Im not expecting a super discount but do you see what i mean? Advertising for $20 and taking me for a whole day? It's not right to say that stuff if no one can achieve it.

Wash the inside of the windshields. If it was done, they didn't use a clean rag. The truck smelled like smoke. I had to drive with the windows down on a rainy day.
