UHaul did not have the truck I needed available at my selected location so they gave me a small discount on mileage, but because the Uhaul location they provided me with was farther away, the discounted mileage did NOT make a difference. I had to pay extra for mileage and my account is now overdrawn due to unforseen costs thanks to this UHaul. I am not happy with the service or cost and will not be using UHaul services again.Keri B.

The interior driver's side of the truck was not clean. There was a lot of dry gravel "mud" on the floor. When I cleaned up the truck before returning to the drop location, there were also smashed candy bars under the driver's seat. We returned the truck cleaner than it was when we picked it up.David W.

I had reserved a truck for Pontiac il 2 weeks ago and 2 days before pick up I got a call saying there were no trucks available at my pick up and u haul wouldn't even discount it for the inconveniencePatrick M.

The truck I rented was JUNK. It didn't want to accelerate, it shook like crazy, and had a serious alignment issue. I would recommend that you not rent this truck to anyone until it's fixed. Total waste of money.JENNIFER S.

I did not receive a dolly that I paid extra for, it was never on the truck. My wife and I had to move all of our appliances without one because I wasn't about to pay the extra mileage to go back to Streator. Will call about it on Monday.Austin S.

My experience was outstanding. The staff at Lori's mailbox and partial depot was outstanding! Very knowledgeable and friendly. Unlike other places I've been to rent a uhaul, this location was outstanding!! Will definitely recommend this location!Kenneth B.

They need to put a sign up when leaving the property that the highway is ONE WAY. It's very dangerous!!!!!!!! My son turned right (wrong way on a one way street) out of the parking lot and luckily the car coming straight at him reacted quickly. Need a sign.Joseph E.

Something got screwed up with my reservation so I was on the phone for at least 30 minutes. The people I dealt with on the phone were helpful and pleasant, now as long as I get my refund I was told I'd get I'd use uhaul again.JACOB B.

Clean the interior, especially during the great COVID scare. Also if I'm required to check and add oil every fill up, may want show me how to check and add oil, what kind of oil? Finally I had to power down some step grades, and it whould have been nice to have been instructed on how to manually shift to low gear.tim W.

i have one significant request for improvement. The UHaul App is great when it works. However, It is a miserable user experience when the user is in a poor cell location. Suggested improvement. When an photo upload is required (during check in or check out) Have the App recognize that cell /network connectivity is low and "hold" the photo in memory on the phone until network connectivity improves. This would allow all the text information to flow from the app and allow the the user to complete checkin/checkout. My pickup /dropoff location had poor cell coverage. In addition, severe weather at the time of pickup made it almost non-existent. It took me nearly 2 hours, working with customer support, to pickup the truck. AWFUL. NEVER AGAIN. I am leaving a good review for the location, because I can't fault the owner for the cell coverage--- my main problem was with how the app dealt with the fact that there was poor cell coverage.Dawn M.

Lori needs to do a better job of communicating with her customers. I spent 4 trying to check on my reservation no answer. When I was finally able to talk to her ,the day before I needed the truck, she said someone else had it but I would be still able to get it the morning. I call the next morning and she tells me that I won't be able to get it until 4pm. We ended up having to wait until 6pm to get it. We will NEVER again use or recommend this business to anyone.Jennifer C.

Unable to satisfy customer order made go 30 miles away to get a truck that was suppose to be picked up in town of use which was pontiac not streator then didn't give a mileage break. Ridiculous! I will refuse to use U-Haul ever again and will suggest others to never use them alsoBrittany G.

I received a call around 5:00 pm on the 21st from a uhaul branch asking me to return the truck, which I had already returned at 11:50 am. I was told I had returned it to the wrong branch. When I asked where the person was calling from, I was told her branch was on the other end of town. I explained to her that I returned the truck to the location that was on my order to which she replied that someone had changed the location information because the truck was supposed to come to her location. It's a little confusing to receive this type of call. Plus there should be an easier way to return the truck to a closed location and have the return noted. I think the printed directions for return could be made clearer.Mary K.

Cab had dry sticky pop all over the console and the floor and it smelled terrible. My clothes smelled after driving 15 minutes to my house. Dog hair and food in cab. i washed down the entire interior and soap mopped the floor. That helped for sure. People at the location in Streator were very helpful, i would use the location again but i will definatly make sure the cab is clen. it reeeeeeked!!Steve C.
