Meribeth M.Reserving truck was easy as was listing approved drivers, HOWEVER pickup was a different story. It took about 1 1/2 hours! Getting primary driver was time consuming as the response for contacts kept coming back as being on the contract- which they weren't! A chat finally got that accomplished (20 minutes) Then came approximately 45 minutes to get the key! Instructions say to line the top of the letters on the line on the lock but after multiple tries, a chat said to center the letters- still didn't work! Tried multiple times-chat said to call a toll free number- on hold for 15 minutes, but kept trying to open lock while waiting. Another chat person said to be sure there was no pressure of any kind on shank of lock. After several tries it finally started to open. It took brute force to completely release lock. ( never did reach a representative on toll free number in 15 minutes!). As far as truck was concerned- there was no washer fluid in reservoir- had to purchase some. Outside mirrors could not be adjusted- brute force didn't work there! Thank goodness for the backup camera. The reserved truck indicated there was a ramp on the truck- there wasn't one! Need more tie down rails at a level between the existing two. The truck drove well and got decent mileage.
Dean A.Not his main business. Had to wait for manager to arrive when checking out the unit, No one available when returning the unit, ended up just dropping the trailer, I also blame UHaul for relying on a completely paperless experience. I was use to the old way of doing business with UHaul.

ROBERT C.Despite repeatedly telling the worker at uhaul the two closest locations where I would like to drop off the truck, later that night, long after leaving, I received a text telling me the drop off location. The location that was chosen is an additional 15 miles from the area we needed to drop off. The location was sent to me in a text, and I got directions to it, but there was no uhaul location there. After looking a bit more, I noticed there are 3 different 3908 gault ave addresses. One is S, one is north, one is directionless, and the name of the location does not bring up anything when searched for. Finally I looked up the location on the uhaul website and found a helpful bit of information in small print below the address, "at the corner of gault and 40th ave." Having that on the website seems that uhaul is aware of the difficulty in finding the location, and should include that in the address that is sent via text and/or email. The address given calls the street nw also, but there is no gault ave nw. Once I found the location, I realized I had already passed it following the directions to the address given, but it is so far off the road and so poorly marked that unless you slowed way down and turned fully to the right, there is no way it could be seen (even then you have less than a second because of surrounding trees). Because of these poor directions and lack of signage, it took additional hours to drop off and an absurd amount of gas. If this is how uhaul is operating these days, I will not be using uhaul again unless I have no other option.
