An official U Haul center will take care of hitching up and unhitching the trailer when you pick up and turn it in. None of these places do that. He basically said park it over there and left it up to me.John W.

The previous renters were returning the cargo van late. Our pickup time moved by an hour or so. When I called the manager, he said he'd give me a call when they actually get the van. He did that. Given that the late return was completely beyond their control, it was handled perfectly.RACHEL B.

The reservation said 100% guaranteed. Then I get an email saying to go to this location. It was out of the way and there is no gas station nearby. More miles and more gas. No straps come with the truck. Might as well look at other companies and spend a bit more. This dirt cheap option isn't even that cheap.Tracey L.

I went a total of 27 miles. I was charged for 4 gallons of gas. There is no way 27 miles took 4 gallons of gas. Beware. This location charges you gas for mileage you did not drive. I would never rent from this location again and will discourage everyone I know from renting here also.MELANIE P.

Never again will I use Uhaul, poor customer service and lack of communication. Made a reservation to only get 2 calls and be told It's arriving late, I said ok no problem I'll be there at 3. As am on my way to my pick up location, I get another call saying it won't be available and it won't be back for another 2 days. I told her I couldn't wait and I needed it for today, she then proceed to move my reservation to another location without even asking me if it's okay. Told me all she can do is extend my rental for 18hrs, and she couldn't help me. I had to drive further out to pick up the truck ruining my plans for the day. I called customer service, was placed on a call back list. Spoke with someone explained my situation and was placed on hold. While on hold I get transferred to someone else who couldn't even help me, she place me on hold and the call disconnects. I called back to be on hold for an hour and call gets disconnected. I kept calling and still my calls never got answered. The only good service I receive was at my new pick up location, all other's suck.Mery A.

A mini mart employee saw me pull in and came out to the truck to greet me. Very pleasant, asked if I had any questions. Said all he needed was the key and I would receive an email receipt which I did within an hour of dropping the truck off. Very easy.Scott K.

This is a bit complicated. My experience at Little Sue's was great. But my original locations was on Center Street, in Apex, NC. That was less than enjoyable. Location Services didn't work well at the location, and once I finally got to my vehicle's lockbox, the code had already been entered and the key was gone. Worse yet, none of the boxes had a key in them. The location had already closed for the day, but there was a very helpful woman I spoke to on the phone, who guided me to Little Sue's. Not sure if there is a way to track down who she was, but she was very, very helpfully. Thanks!!Dominic J.

The Uhauls were hard to access. I rented a 2-3 bedroom size uhaul. I was wedged in between the fence and another uhaul. It took 20 min to get out. Needs to be better organized.Kayla M.

The rental return time was not what I had requested. When I realized the error at 330 I tried to extend the rental but was told someone else was renting it at 4pm. It was 4 when I returned the van and was at the store until 430. There was nobody there to rent it. That was a lie. Unfortunately because of that I wasn't able to do everything I needed to do with the van. I was rushed. The van interior smelled like urine which was gross. The windshield washer fluid was empty and the windshield was dirty. That was just a minor inconvenience but figured I'd mention it. Finally, I had no clue what type fuel to use in it. It was not listed anywhere on the van or in my rental agreement. I had to Google the make and model of vehicle. This was inconvenient bc I needed to full it up before returning or pay an outrageous amount for gas.Melissa C.
