Clean the truck - that would be my first recommendation. When renting a truck to move to a town over 250 miles away - give me the one with cruise control - nope - didn't get it. Open the back and moving blankets are all thrown about. Overall not impressed at all. Selected a 10ft, didn't realize the computer automatically changed it to a 15ft since the place I chose didn't have one. I would have rather driven 10 miles to another U-Haul and got the 10ft. Why? Because the 15ft got a whopping 8.4mpg. Cost me $72 in fuel to go 275 miles. Truck ran great - that was the only positive - had lots of power and was easy to get on the highway and easy to pass semi trucks. Tires out of balance. Pass window wouldn't seal so sounded like a helicopter all the way on the 4 hour trip. Other than the 6 or 7 things I listed - it was great

I dropped off the U-Haul on a day they were closed. When I created an online account to sign in the U-Haul I was unable to. I had to wait for the location to open in order to call and check out.

we were shown little to no help with our trailer. We loaded the trailer ourselves without any help, and were not given electrical hook up for trailer. We were not given ropes, straps, and blankets like we were promised. The trailer worked fine once I purchased my own electrical hook up. Fayetteville, AR.

I had asked to use the truck for two days and ask them to allow me to drive two hundred miles from the place I picked up the truck They put that I was only supposed to be able to drive it 70 miles one way and I was supposed to be getting a hundred dollars back but only got fifty some dollars back they will possibly never be getting service with me this is the second time u-haul has over charged me for the use of there rigs I'll be off getting a Penske truck next time I move

When returned to Indepence , MO . The Gentleman noticed a problem with the trailer and confronted my son and my son said it was that way when we got it from Fayetteville. The gentleman did not bring it to our attention and we were not asked to sign a inspection sheet before we left with it.

Equipment I was given to use not only Looked 25+ years old, was in poor condition. Holes rusted in ramps, and shook bad going down the road to the point I decided not to use it. I was still charged full price. I’m unhappy with this time, and I use u-Haul frequently.... wish someone would make this right!

Everything went as expected. The truck was clean and I was able to pick it up along with moving quilts and a dolly. I would recommend using this company.

The ramp was broken on the truck which was a huge issue. The gas level was not recorded correctly The passenger did not shut properly the seat belt notification kept beeping VERY BAD EXPERIENCE

I made a reservation the day before, but when arrived the equipment I reserved was not available. We were able to make it work with a different type and a discount was given. The cargo van rented was filthy with dog hair and had not be cleaned prior. Overall, always a great experience at this location. Customer service is top notch.

Posted hours are 8am to 5pm. Got there at 8am and waited an hour for employee to show up, had to completely rearrange my plans and my wife was late for work, which is super stressful when your moving. Neighboring businesses told me they never open before 8:30, usually closer to 9. When employee finally arrived she gave me an offhand apology and gave me a $10 discount, wow thanks!
