The rented equipment was perfect and in perfect condition. However, the rental place was totally poor. The service was very slow, the owner unfriendly and the waiting time to get the equipment was huge. It took almost 90 minutes to get the equipment back. The owner had only one person enter his business at a time and the other customers had to wait outside or in their vehicle. We would have thought we were in April 2020 with all the sanitary measures to the extreme: mask, glove, 2 meter distance, hand washing and so on. In short, I will definitely rent from other U-Hauls but not at this place of businessJonathan F.

Horrible experience. 1st you change my location with last minute notice via text message! 2nd the installation that was previously put on my vehicle to have a hitch the light was malfunctioning so you guys wouldn't let me leave with the trailer. Lucky the guy that was present at the pick up location had experience in installing the wiring for lights and hitches and was able to install a new one, after the fact we ran around looking for a garage that was opened to help us. Then....the drop off location for the trailer had no one to help me take the trailer off! I specifically expressed that I was pregnant and would be dropping it off alone. I had to ask for help from strangers passing by on the side of the road to help me remove the trailer as it was too hard for me to lift by myself. I also dropped the trailer off a day early, I have not looked at my statement if I was charged an extra day, but I hope not. Honestly, there is no customer service, to wait over an hour to speak to someone was ridiculous..and the agents you do get to speak to can only schedule or cancel an appointment, if they transfer you then you magically get disconnected.Sarahjean R.

Make sure that the equipment is there when we come to pick it up and have confirmed twice! I confirmed with Uhaul customer service and also confirmed directly with Uhaul pick up location and my equipment was not there! Had to wait and ran late on my schedule and still paid full price.Jessica S.

Its next to some kind of flee market or I dont know, there wasnt much space to put the truck and when I arrived it was dark and it took me some time to figure out where the drop box was. I had the impression to drop the truck in a car dump, the only missing thing was barking dogs and bikers to welcome me. I exagerate a bit and it wasnt a big deal really (compared to the sxxx show I had at the pickup location) but I cant imagine a woman would feel safe droping a truck there late at night lets say.Hugo A.

One of the worst customer service I had in a long time. Not from UHaul, but from the place I picked up the equipment. Watch out, they have a long list of special operating (closed) hours and it seems you can still reserve the equipment these days. Be prepared to have a lecture about it's not his problem and tried to charge us 2 days instead of 1 because he asked us to get the trailer the day before because he decided to close the day I had my reservation. He was rude and arrogant. One another note, the trailer was very clean and the other guy that hooked the trailer was friendly.Anthony Q.

The place was find but the way U HAUL is giving the appointement by sending all the custumer at the same time to this adress making people wait for more then an hour on spot is frustrating and discouraging. The fact that you can also rent something that is not available, it is making a lot to deal with, I will discourage people to deal with UHAUL and rather go seek for a smaller business that can get their shit together. You broke unilaterly the reservation contract that was made. This caused additionnal cost and delays on my end which is unacceptable. You also canceled my reservation less than 10h before my renting period. This can only described as a crooked move. This left us with no other issue than the one you forced onto us. it's an old pawn shop operated by a 70/80 years old guy. I got a lecture about why it is my fault that I don't speak french and he is doing me a favor by talking in english. the owner was rude and didn't give a shit about UHAUL corporate or its customer. also I did online check-in but had to repeat the whole process again, secondary didn't let me look at the equipment before is signed the contract. was promised a discount because I have to drive 400kms back and forth to get the truck which was missing in the contract and he didn't give a shit about it.GURINDER S.

On est arriver a 9.45 et lui est arrivÃ© a exactement 10.00 am. cellui a pris 15 min pour commencer a instaler le trailer pour qu'a 10.30 se faire dire que nos fils ne fonctionnaient pas, mais on ne le savait pas car nous on est parti avec un trailler plus grand l'annÃ©e passÃ©e et cela fonctionnait tres bien. Et ensuit pour nous dire qui nous remboursait pas. Ostie pouvez vous savoir que j'Ã©taIs en beau maudit. Jamais plus je ne ferais affaire a cette place la. Worst rental experience. 1- I made a reservation in Magog. I was transfer to another U-Haul location further from my home. 2- the original reservation was for pick-up on Friday 21/01 at 8:00 am. planing the return at 5:00 pm the same day. I was informed that Liquidations StÃ©banne would only open at 10:00 am on the 21st and close at 4:00 pm. So I had to arrange the pick-up at 4:00 pm the previous day ( therefore quit work earlier ) and return the trailer the next day at 4:00 pm. Return that force me to change the schedule of the day on the 21 st. 3- the equipment ( RV5813 E- B729564MI ) was in a terrible shape. I could only open the back door for about 4 inches. U-Haul has beeb a reliable company in the past. Some of the equipment they are renting is getting pretty old. The last two rentals I did was from rental location who doesn't give a s.... about what goes on the road. So NO, I will not recommend U-Haul anymore.Jean Claude D.

It was a nightmare. First i got called before my reservation date stating they only had 27 ft trucks and we're not able to give me the 20ft truck i reserved. Gave me 50$ discount i was ok with it. Then, Location didnt have self pick up and website only gave me the option for self pick up. People at the location kept blaming uhaul and made us wait over 2 hours. Only got A 50 $ refund when I had to pay movers an extra 2 hours because couldn't get the truck. On top of that, had to put 200$ in gaz because the truck was huge. So they gave me a little 100$ when this matter costed me 400$... I felt disrespected and in stressful days such moving, uhaul made it even more stressfulSara Y.
