I was very disappointed when I got to the site to pickup my 15 foot truck only to find out it was double booked and they didn't have one for me. I was there for over 1hour while a person was renting another but there was a problem and she could not get it so I was able to get that one. This is the second time this has happened to me and it's very disappointing to get told you don't have a truck to rent when you get to the site.Donald B.

The agent was rude and disrespectful. I had a booking at 9 AM and I called up the location twice to let them know I will be late and they did not pick up the phone. When I arrived at the location they had canceled my reservation. This is very unprofessional in my opinion! They should have called me to confirm if I was going to come and get the rental or not! Once I arrived at the location the office was closed, I called the number provided to me by U haul and the agent blamed me that I must have dialed the wrong number. Again VERY unprofessional. I had also declined the insurance but the agent added that on to my booking without consulting with me. Again VERY unprofessional! I showed the agent that I had called at my pick up time and that I did not dial the wrong number they snatched the keys and threated that they will cancel my reservation and I can go get it from some place else! HOW UNPROFESSIONAL IS THAT U HAUL???? In my opinion this location should be delisted as an authorized U HAUL location. I did not have a pleasant experience.Karan G.
The location had awful customer service. I would not recommend Lee's Self Storage to anyone. They were unhelpful and rude. There was no explanation of what we're paying for ie. insurance was added without asking or explanation. When asked questions he was unable to answer therefore had to call the regional number which added a significant amount of time to travel. Vehicle was fine but the guy working the counter at Lees has zero customer service skills. Had to stand there while he was on an obvious personal call telling someone how his brother stole from him. The person who ran ran the U-haul said he "did this for eight years and it wasn't worth his time". He didn't seem to care about how much of my time he was taking, what condition the truck was in, and he seemed to see how rude he could be while still having me as a customer. I had the truck for two hours didnt go under the gas level n the most 8-10 @.79 per mile.Ridiculous.It was a 19.99 truck n he charged me 100$. bullshit.I will see u in court.Then what company doesnt give u a reciept on the spot he said call 30 minutes n he will have a total.HORRIBLE service,super rude n extremely slow.Muddy as hell parking lot.I WILL get at Least70$ back. not payiny 100$. Clean the vehicle. There was mud everywhere (that I sent before I took it) and they still charged me for cleaning because they left mud. The passenger seat was wet and the van smelled like cigarettes and fabric softener.Julia L.

Cost. .99 a mile. I only had the truck for 4 hrs and it cost me $100 including gas I replaced. And to have to rent tie down straps on top. No thanks I had my own. I was just looking to move my daughter 1 town over. I just can't get over .99 per mile. Outrageous in my eyes. Single mom trying to move daughter and granddaughter.Terri S.

Get the rental to a closer location and 24 hr notice of traveling to get the rental isn't enough to change the customers complete schedule within 24 hrs. Total additional cost to me was over $30 with tolls and fuel.surprise !!!! Come an hour away or cancel your travel plans! No goodANTHONY B.

I may write a letter to the CEO of UHaul but this will work for the moment. When we got to the location in Clarion to pick up the truck there was a man that worked there. We said hello and told him we were picking up a truck .... He looked at us with a blank stareAnd offered no help or assistance. I asked him if he worked there and he said yes ... I told him that we had never picked up the truck on the app and he really didn't care he offered no assistance in helping us I asked him some questions he pointed to a lock box then he got in his truck and he left!!!!! Of course as it turns out we weren't able to get our truck because when we tried to check in on the U-Haul app it told us that our equipment wasn't ready and that we needed to go inside for Assistance but of course we could not because they were closed and Amanda could've helped us who offered no assistance just drove off ... so we called off and after 45 minutes were able to get someone to get the code to get the key to get the truck but it was an awful awful experience and I couldn't believe the ignorance and lack of help that was offered by the ownership of that U-Haul facility ! Help me understand how somebody can take five minutes when they're already there to show you or help you get your truck !!!!!William M.

biggest issue I had with the whole experience was trying to figure out if Uhaul had a tow dolly at the location i desired to pick up or not. (Uhaul of Ravenna) When I completed my reservation i received no call or message that my tow dolly would not be at Uhaul of Ravenna and then after stopping there, I had to drive another 12 miles to Regiment Company to pick it up. I would have thought Uhaul would have a better idea of where their equipment is actually at.CORRY E.

Would like a truck had to settle for a van. The van was dirty. I had it reserved, for 0930 I phoned the site to let him know that I was running behind and had to make a stop before I got to U-haul place. He was going to give the van that I had rented to another client.Brett G.

Service was sub-par. Made reservation directly with the location due to all of the hassle experienced with reserving online the previous 3 times. Stopped in 2 days prior to confirm. Equipment accessories reserved were not reflected on reservation. Was able to add to the reservation so that was fine. Upon returning the truck, I was charged the Safe Move coverage although I was not asked if I wanted it or not. When questioned about the unauthorized added charge, I was told "You have to take it up with U-haul. I can't do anything about it." My response was "I made the reservation directly with you and I was not asked if I wanted to pay for the extra coverage or not." Again, he responded with "I can't do anything about it. You have to take it up with them." The level of customer service of the businesses you have representing your company is atrocious! You should be embarrassed and ashamed to have such people displaying your name, although I am not that much more impressed with your company as a whole. It will be a VERY long time before I consider using U-haul again.Suzanne W.
