The truck fell apart on my trip over the mountains on 48/72. Abs light came on. Stibilitrak light came on. Traction control service light came on. On an icy road! No traction control or stability safety system. And on top of that, I tried to call roadside assistance and got nothing but gift card surveys!

Very easy to check in the truck at the end of our trip. Very friendly.

The trailer attachment to load car on was an HOUR away, over a mountain, from the truck pickup location. Both were reserved at same time a week earlier. Wasted over two hours just getting necessary equipment.

Location is overcrowded with cars and there is no real clear entrance to go into to pick up the U-Haul. Once inside it’s not very clean and inviting and there is no real desk. People are friendly, but location is uncomfortable.

The location and staff were great and got us squared away. I would not suggest using the mobile pick up feature. We waited for “pending approval” for almost 30 minutes before just giving up and going in to speak to the staff.

We had problems with both the power steering and brakes with the truck that was provided. The brakes almost failed causing me to almost hit several parked vehicles.

The truck was in decent shape and easy to find. Upon opening to check for the appliance dolly and Utility dolly, we found two furniture dollies, of being Saturday, no one to correct the issue! Then I had requested 24 furniture pads, there were only 6, same issue. Hate to have to deal with the charge issues when someone could have paid better attention to the reservation requirements and if did not have the items, alert e and let me know other options. Kind of stupid not to have service in early on Saturday to help customers but in a world of automation, service problems are to be expected when things are hurried through. I extended hours with Uhaul but they were never noted so another problem. At least there was a spot to park it when I brought it back. The stinking Uhaul turn in has work needed, would not have taken over 20 minutes if there were live people at check in. At least the truck ran, got the furniture to the destination and short of the cigarette ashes left in the ashtray, was clean. In all, not really happy and would prefer to rent and return to people.

The online/app checkout process was not as smooth as it could have been. Each step of the process was explained well and instructions were pretty easy to follow. However, there was one point in the process where I had to wait 20 minutes to get a response from the chat feature so I could move to the next step. The guy I talked to the day before who was at the location on weekdays was very friendly and helpful. I would rent from this location again. Now that I know the process for using the online checkout/checkin, I'm sure it will be smoother.
