We ordered 4 dozen blankets to be included in the truck and they weren't there. Nobody was on on site or answered the phone. Finally when we spoke to Uhaul they told us we had to go pick them up at another location, which we didn't have time for. Very disappointed.Aaron S.

I have used this location for the last 5 years on Labor day weekend for transporting merchandise for our annual jazz festival. They have always been courteous, friendly, timely and most of all reliable. I appreciate the service that we receive and will continue to use them in the future. If you want to catch a communicable disease this location (814 W. Main St. Jamestown NC) is the place. Trash and jumbled parked cars, trucks and trailers. I was not thrilled to leave my car on this property. My pickup time was 7:15. No one there. No one responded to my calls. I called another Uhaul shop (that ALWAYS GIVES EXCELLENT SERVICE). They got someone to call me and give me the code to get my keys. It was assumed that I would use the app, which i do not. I use ZERO apps. They gas was at less than 1/4 tank. So in addition to being an hour an a half late to my client, I had to immediately stop for gas. And the truck rode like it had 3 wheels. Incredibly rough ride. The radio and A/C worked. The gentleman that assisted me at this location was very kind, professional and knowledgeable about the vehicles and payment processing. It took a while for my funds to be released but I wouldn't say that's an â€œU-haulâ€ issue (I'm with a credit union and they're just slow). Overall I see no need for improvement, thank you ðŸ™ðŸ½Chermaine F.
UHaul probably cant do anything, the location and the owner of the location was negative and it took me ONE HOUR to rent a pickup truck. There was no where to park in his lot and he was rude to my driver and to me regarding my driver because of where he was parked waiting for me to get the truck. I will not go back there.ROBIN B.

Location was changed after reservation which added a 30 minute drive and mileage without my approval. Yet I was charged for extra mileage although I was nit responsible for the change. The change I was told so I can drive a vehicle that needed repair.William Z.
During our move, there was a heavy rainstorm that lasted 15-20 minutes. We had a couple of mattresses that were wet on the side touching the floor. I shared this with the owner and felt like he would address. Otherwise a great experience.STEPHEN H.

Inadequate my reservation online and scheduled mobile pick-up. When I tried to pick up the truck, it was not ready. The location was not open and didn't open until 30 minute after my reservation time. There was a line at the door of others who had booked online. In the end, I wasn't able to get my truck until an hour after my reservation. I will never book at this location again.KENNEYON B.

I picked up the rental using the mobile app. In the middle of the check-in process I received a call. When I returned to the app after the call, it had completed the check in process without my being able to submit photos of the truck or of the fuel gauge or odometer. It turned out not to be an issue, but it would have been nice to be to pick up where I left off. Other than that, the process of picking up and returning the rental via the mobile app is quite nice. Customer service was great and Wayne made sure it was a smooth transaction. One suggestion would be to consider a dedicated parking/service lane area and a dedicated return lane area for larger equipment. I appreciated the attention to detail and service. I would recommend this location.BRUCE V.

The only issue I had with this location is I had to drive all the way back home to get a hitch because there wasn't one on the truck to pull the tow dolly and the operator at this location did not have one and advised me I would have to purchase one. Luckily I have one. This should be addressed. The customer should not have to provide equipment plus pay to use the equipment. I literally paid to use something I owned. The location was very convenient and the operator provided outstanding customer service. The hitch was the only issue I had.Sharon D.

Larry in Jamestown, NC was very helpful. Initial renting was sketchy, wanting to pick up on High Point, NC, but days after I had made the reservation was told I would pick up in Winston Salem, NC, two days before pickup confirmation call told me to go to Jamestown, NC.Michael M.

He has a bad attitude and charged me alot because I left the Truck at another location he didn't tell me that I have return it to the same location then I got it back to him and charge me again I don't know why so the total charge is 111+500+182 do you think this is fair for one trip from Jamestown to winston Salem and back I could renta house for a month for this money even know I told him because of that charge I'm broke I have no money and I have kids to feed .now I'm looking for someone to borrow some money to buy some food for my kids it's very bad experience and I highly don't recommend this location.
