Location was great, truck needed work.
AARON SNone of the equipmebt I reserved was on the truck and the location wasn't open yet. U-Haul customer service was very nice and helped me locate another store that was open but we had to go 20 minutes out of our way on top of the time it took to contact customer service and locate the equipment. This cut into my rental time.
Shannon RVery glitchy app made it frustrating to drop off after hours and could not find a clear spot to drop the U-Haul off.
Ian KWe dropped the truck off on Monday, Memorial Day, so the store was not open. When I called to confirm they had in fact acknowledged receipt of the return, the woman who answered the phone was incredibly abrupt and rude on the phone. Other than saying yes, it was received, she cut the call short as if she couldn't be bothered to speak to a paying customer. Two strikes for U-Haul. I'll take my business elsewhere next time.

Bari YI've used this place before. Always understaffed so you are on your own. I've been there already so know I'll have to do all myself. They also charged me an extra day when I returned trailer 90 minutes before it was due. UHaul corrected it
Charles MThe store representative was really great! The truck, though, had the check engine light on. I also only drove it 15.7 miles but was charged for 20.7 for some unknown reason. I did tell the rep about the check engine light. I am not so worried about those extra 5 miles. My concern is that it is drinking up that gas! I put four gallons of gas in for that 15 miles!
David CAt the drop off location, there was one single, female employee running a business. When I arrived, she told me I would have to just deal with it myself and disconnect it, and leave it in a safe location at the store. The store was a garden center. I was very hesitant to do it, but I had no other choice as there was no one anywhere around who could even help me get it off the car.

Thomas BA negative that I would address is on website. After placing my order for the trailer I needed at a nearby location, I called that location the next day just to find out my reservation was not at that location because that was a "preferred" location. The original location on the website said they had one available at the original location and I would have not found out til just before I needed the trailer, had I not called them ahead of time.
Adam FTo improve the service I would move this out of that little confined lot, and get some competent people running the show. The trailer I rented had two pizza boxes in it Soaking wet because of the rain.. Trailer was all beat up and dented. did all the paper work on line and still had to wait twenty minutes . {only one there}

Jon BOne lady working counter/location. The person ahead of me their paperwork was all messed up in computer. The truck was beat up, had claim stickers all over the place. The trucks are parked in a grassy driveway, hard to get truck out. The truck ran terrible, you press on the brakes it would squeal, brakes depresses it would hum then if you let them up a little bit the hum would go away. Won't be renting from them again.
Michael JTo many steps trying to upsell in the UHaul system. Renting a trailer should be a simple process. Dealer was nice to deal with. Trailer did the job.
donald mStaff was very friendly, but the moving truck hadn't been cleaned. Cigarette ashes on the dash and around the cup holders. Mud all over the interior. Beer bottle cap on the floorboard.
Jonathan KNever seen anyone, dropped the truck off The night on 2/24/2022. Went by same location after work on the 25th and the truck was still sitting right where I left it the night before. Call U- Haul to make sure it was at least checked in.
Charles MIt was not easy to access the truck using the 24/7 option. We had to call the help center because they needed to verify another person. We wasted an 1/2 hour trying to get this issue resolved. Not sure if I would use this service again. Not a user friendly option

JOHN WBooked truck online well in advance only to find out that truck size and pick up location was unavailable day before pick up. Had to make last minute arrangements to make this work. Was giving larger truck that I did not want and was high mileage and more difficult to drive as a result. Disappointed in last minute adjustments that put me in a bind.

Ti DSince the facility was open, I went inside to check in my equipment. She said is that the vehicle, yes, she took the key and said I was done. No inspection or walk around with me. Just kind of rude. I go my receipt and see that the GAS tank gauge is not accurate. I had just filled it up. The tank was just short of completely full but they show it as less than 3/4 full. Is someone stealing fuel. I will do self check in in the future.
Robert RThe personnel at the drop off location we unaware of the steps necessary to properly return the equipment that I rented. A gentleman did help get the heavy 6 x 12 trailer off of my truck. I have a bad back and could not do it alone. They also did not tell me that I had to complete the return online and consequently I had to return to the location to do so. Also, I have not received an email from U-Haul about my completed return. A company should not go virtual if the live personnel are not on board. Otherwise the experience was good until the return.

Robert RMy credit card was charged additional fee and Lake Erie lawn says it was an error! Still have not been able to talk to anyone from uhaul regarding this fee!! 800 number I was on hold over an hr, and live chat- no response,, email- no reply!!!!!!!!!
THERESE WI made this reservation over the phone. No one mentioned the time I had to have it back. When I got there, there was no mention about it either. When I came to turn it in, the place was closed. I dropped it off in the parking lot. I did the online check in that I've used before. The system charged me at a different rate and for a 4th day. You need to be more clear about this!
MARK WI dropped off the trailer early to Lake Erie Lawn and Garden. It was due on Monday. I dropped it off on Saturday where the woman sales clerk told me to put it. Today, Tuesday I get a charge if $30.03 for another day rental. Now I have to dispute the charge. Not good.

DYLAN Rhad difficulty with the uhaul website - not the problem of the local vendor. rented a trailer. everything worked properly.
ROBERT WThey were rude, told me initially that they did not have they trailer available that I needed, but in looking at uhauls website that they did. When you call the location, they put you on hold and hang up on you. When I showed up to rent the trailer, they never offered to help hook it up, they just said the trailer is in back.

Kreso TYour Cleveland area manager does not even know how the rental equipment works. When I picked up my rental trailer everything looked ok. When I loaded my car one of the tire straps was too short and I had to cut one of personal straps to use trailer. I asked to be reimbursed for my strap and he told me they weren't responsible for the straps on the trailer. I will rent from another company next time.
