With my drivers license in hand and reservation couldn't comprehend who I was and said I had to get a trailer elsewhere. Finally realized what was going on. The wheel straps too short to go around stock tire from 68 jeep and popped off often.

And they didn't make it clear that I had to pick up my dollies, furniture covers, etc., and we had to return to get them. So I'm shaving off points. On the up-side, the staff was friendly, though, which kept this from being a one or two-star rating!
Leo W.Wheel fell off the trailer on the Ohio turnpike. Waited a solid hour and a half for the tow truck driver who was misinformed that the trailer only needed a tire. Had to have the trailer towed to my residence. Several items were damaged.

Chad S.Gave me a van with a bad battery that left me stranded. I believe they knew about this prior because they had the van running for me when I picked it up, they likely had to jump it and didn't want to shut it off again. I had to wait for over an hour in unsafe heat for a technician to come replace it. Also the van smelled terribly of cigarette smoke and there were ashes all over the interior. They seem careless about the cleanliness or functionality and safety of the equipment.

tim S.The agent was super friendly and helpful. The vehicle had no windshield washer fluid and needed an oil change. I rented the vehicle for a 1200 mile trip. It was very unnerving to have the "oil change required" light come on every time I started it.

Multiple employees helped all the customers within 15 minutes and we were all on are way. The truck was clean and ran well. I dropped off the truck after hours with the U-Haul app, put the keys in the dropbox and I was on my way within minutes.

My interaction with her was professional. I just felt there was no need to rehash the phone call in front of customers. As far as the vehicle, I have no complaints.

Anthony C.It took me half hour to check in and get the rental van. The lady was very slow as if she was taking her time. I represented her my driver license and insurance. Last time I was there a few weeks ago, it took me five minutes to show my ID documents and signed the papers.
angela B.Clean the vehicle. Cup holders were gross and sticky. Mud all over the interior as well as the cargo bay. None of that would have caused me to leave a review but it was warmer today and the AC didn't work.
Oliver S.This location was fine, the associate was helpful. Trying to set up online pick up prior to this location being open was useless and unsuccessful. The website kept repeating the sign in process over and over saying we were 7 miles from the location when in fact we were standing at the door. Had to wait till the store opened to pick up the truck. Another customer was having the same issue. The associate could see that our information was uploaded, but the site would not allow us to complete the pick up. The associate had to finish the transaction for us, she was nice and helpful!!

jennifer S.This is probably the last time we will be renting a U-Haul from this specific location. When we initially got the keys for the U-Haul, the van was absolutely disgusting. It had either cat or dog hair all over both front seats. We went in and advised her that we would either want a different van or we will be going to a different location. She did give us a new van along with a lot of attitude. We seem to be more of a nuisance to her than anything else. Both vans were pretty disgusting but at least the second van we had did have slightly cleaner seats.

Kevin S.The vehicle had multiple damage areas on both sides and the left and right front. It looked like a rolling bill board for rent a heap, not Uhaul. This vehicle was way past a refurbish. The damage didn't happen on one rental. The back was very clean inside as well as the cab seats and floor. Inside windows need to be cleaned by rental agent. Driving into setting sun after pick up was dangerous. Difficult to see.

Vincent B.Would make life much easier if hitches we sold at all locations! This was an issue for me. Where I made the reservation I was told that the pickup point would have hitches for sale. When I arrived there they didn't sell hitches. I had to find a hitch at an auto parts store, lucky it was somewhat close by.

Vincent P.The company that was supposed to help us, that we booked thru U-Haul was 1.6 hours late, so we loaded ourselves and the still charged us full price. That is cheating the customer. Then, that same company wanted to PAY me to write a good review for them...
SUSAN T.Trailer tongue frozen to the ground, ball tightening screw also frozen. Of course it was below freezing in the morning. Maybe prop the tongue onto a board? Inside retainer boards are loose or missing on right side wall. Other than that checkout and checkin went flawlessly. Used online rental, had everything ready to go.
Daniel O.I rented at 5x8 trailer to haul a king size headboard and footboard, they were difficult to secure since some of the trailers side rails were missing and the remaining side rails were damaged. The lady at the front desk could not have been any nicer.
