Some car trailer tires blew out on the way and had some difficulty getting in contact with U-haul roadside assistance at the number on the website so I got a large repair shop that I was near at the breakdown location to replace the bad tires. Jack Schrock, the manager of the dropoff U-haul facility helped me get in contact with the right U-haul people to get reimbursed for the tires and I was. Jack was very helpful and friendly and knew what he was doing.

I was extremely displeased; knowing that I may need to truck for an extra day or two I enquired whether I should book and pay for the extra days and get a refund if I did not use the extra days or whether I should "amend" my booking when I knew that I needed the extra days. I was advised to do the latter. As it turns out I did need the extra days and I did try to extend the booking a day before but they unable to accommodate me, but fortunately I managed to hire a truck from another location! Extremely inconvenient and costly to make this kind of change.

20" van I picked up should not have been on the lot for rent. I didn't make it 150 miles before the inside left rear tire blew apart. I spent 2-hours waiting on the side of the interstate for a tire repair person. Once there he showed me the tire was 4-years old. The tread was a worn badly and it as well as all tires were overinflated to 100lbs psi. The tire man said they should have been inflated to between 75-85lbs. psi. He corrected all of the tires inflation on the van as well as the auto transport. They too were at a minimum of 10lbs overinflated. The van also needed a front end alignment. I fought this for 800miles.
