There is a definite lack of customer service at this location: when I arrived the man told me "I don't have that trailer and I don't know why you are here". I said why would they have sent me here then with a reservation? He finally pulls up the reservation on the computer and says, "Oh I have that trailer." He was rude and condescending.Donie V.

I was treated like I was there to rob the place. The male present grab the keys from my hands before I could even introduce myself and the lady ignored me completely. She did explain the mileage was 6 miles over and she did give me a receipt and my deposit back but she did all the talking and didn't respond to anything I was saying. Very racist experience and I will never use this location ever again and will be sure to warn other POC to find another moving company if this is the only drop off location nearby as well. The face to face representatives are always friendly and know exactly how to do their job. The online/app follow up people are among the worst company representatives in the customer service business. Maybe 1 of 5 actually know what they are doing and can be proactive to solve problems. My rep suggested I drive thirty miles one way to pick up a truck. It was the only option he offered . I cancelled and redid the reservation and the next rep said the truck was not there but if I jumped from a ten foot to fifteen it would solve the problem. Online follow up rep needs to be aware of area. My U-Haul place is less than a mile from my home but the rep was happy to add $60 plus to my rental .Jeffery B.

Not sure who fault I booked With uhaul customer service, once I got to Groesbeck I was informed they didn't have the appliance dolly. Which was up setting I could have got the truck and dolly at a different location.then I called to see if someone from customer service help me find one and was informed they dont have a way to check what they have at other Stores, but could call. I reserved a uhaul originally in Waco Tx and has to drive 35 miles out of my way to another location. Not only thy but I had to get a smaller truck than what I originally needed. Was not pleased about this whatsoever. Then had to replace all the fuel used even though I had to go out of my way and do multiple trips due to smaller truck given!Mary C.

Supplies were not with the truck when we went to pick it up. We traveled over 3 hours to pick up the truck and had to reschedule because the pads weren't in it. When we finally went back the truck had a broken dolly (which we didn't know until we got to our destination) and the truck was filthy. So many bugs we had to stop and wash the windshield so I could see. We will never rent from this place again. Not to mention the lady was super rude. Worst experience ever with Uhaul.Tara T.

the main issue I had was with the online check in to get the vehicle. It kept asking me to change my card information even though I had received a refund and I couldn't proceed. Upon calling the customer service number I was on hold for 20 minutes until I spoke with someone and by that point I had to leave the pick up location and return to work. I wasn't able to get the keys until after I got off of work and by that time had no one to drive my car for me so I had to return a 3rd time so that I could actually pick the truck up the next morning.Dustin P.

Arrived a little past 4:30 pm Saturday the 22nd and the Groesbeck location was closed with a large moving truck blocking the entrance. My son lives in Groesbeck and said there was a rear entrance. Drove around to the rear entrance and there was no where to park the trailer except next a row of small box trailers next to a tree line. I parked the trailer next to the box trailers and took photos where the trailer was parked. I received a call on Monday morning from U-Haul and the man asked me why I had not turned in my trailer yet. I told him the trailer had been turned in on Saturday the 22nd and ha asked where I had turned the trailer into. I told him I turned the trailer into the Groesbeck dealer on north Ellis in Groesbeck Tx. Having a dealer open where you are to drop your trailer off might be nice and he might want to take an inventory on Monday morning to see if anything has been dropped off !!!!!James J.
I assume when I book online this is to save me time from having to wait in line or run around while I'm on the Clock paying movers. This was not the case. I prepurchased my insurance; I pre confirmed the equipment I needed; I reserved truck so I could bypass the line in the morning, thinking I could grab my keys and go. But in the morning while I had 4 movers I was paying $175/hr, I got to this Kyles uhaul and nothing was set up. I had to wait in line and go through the whole process in person when I already spent an hour doing it online. The dollies and furniture boards I reserved were not available â€"â€"-none. While I'm paying $175 I had to run all over Waco looking for a uhaul to rent these items. Internet said they were open, I drive there. And it doesn't even exist or has gone out of business. Ultimately I had to go to Home Depot and BUY two Heavy duty dollies Costing more than $200 (rental would have been $14 for the two)â€"-I assure you I was not budgeting for this blow. I also spent $525 extra for the idle time of movers who couldn't do anything until I raced back with the dollies I had to drive 39 min each way to get. This was UNACCEPTABLE. Not only that, but I put an extra 100 miles in the uhaul truck at .99 a mile. This uhaul business cost me $242 to them when I was counting on $80 total for truck and miles. $525 extra to movers for 3 hours wasted because equipment I was promised by uhaul was not available even though I reserved it. Plus when I picked up the truck it was almost in empty and I had to take time to locate a gas station in the rural area I was moving to and the expense of filling it up $140. All in all I spent $1,100 on a uhaul reservation that should've cost no more than $100max in its entirety. That is more than ten times my budget Furthermore I had to pay rent for 2 additional days for this Uhaul truck because of all the wasted time I couldn't get the move completed in one day as I expected. Additionally, I couldn't get these movers back because they had other jobs they'd already been hired for a different job and location the next day. The truck sat idle in my driveway for 2 days while I tried to locate other movers. Terrible; just completely asinine.Cynthia M.

After the Area Field Manager, Michael Henderson got involved things went better. He changed the drop off location to Groesbeck. The system wanted me to backtrack to Waco which would have been well over a hundred mile round trip. The system also didn't compute the mileage correctly for Carolyn at Kyles Trading Post. Your people are doing a great job but the "system" is making it really hard for them and the customers. I'll need a truck again to move the contents of the house, this was just the garage. I'll be checking with Penske, they have a huge depot in Waco and that's where your system wanted the truck anyway.DavidJ W.
