The tank was on empty. I had to get gas before I could even get it to my storage. The office is closed and you have to call someone on the phone and they tell you a code, we'll they lady couldn't get a code so I had to wait for someone to bring the truck and key out.Amanda P.

I rented a box truck and auto transport and the rear driver side tire had a leak. I had to stop 7 times to put air in the tire during my trip. The rear driver side tire on the trailer was also low with only 16 psi. Service was great but they need to inspect equipment before renting out.ABDULLAH C.
The guy checking in equipment was rude. No place to park so I pared the only place I could, in front gate that was closed not even opened yet. He came walking out with another customer as I was walking up to office and rudely said you are parked in front of gate. Absolutely no way to trat a customer. How about excuse me sir I'm going to open this gate will you please pull the trailer in back. I will never go back here again customer service is junk.Jeff P.
Took 45 minutes to get my trailer, trailer was sitting there next to my parking spot, but no clerk was available. talked to a mechanic, George, who was busy doing writing on a notepad, did not great me, & I had to inquire if I was at right location since there are no signs nor u-haul insignia at this place, he referred me to a remote person. no answer-phone voicemail was full. I called u-haul help desk, George yelled at me to call number and chastised me for calling help desk. I was not happy, he brought out wrong hand-truck & I had to correct him. He has no terminal present to check my rental. Dirty facility with heavy equipment spread around. Facility needs a clean up, George needs to calm down and get a local desk for rentals. If he wants a franchise, he needs a better attitude and a clerk who answers the phone...or better yet who sits on the site.george M.

The overall cleanliness of the truck is below average, please replace the cabin filter and wipe clean the cabin, very strong cigarette or cigar smell lingering, very unpleasant to other users, on the other hand, the staffs we're very nice.Dennis H.

24/7 pickup took two hours at the truck location. Also roadside assistance was very slow in responding or asking questions. More issues with the U-Haul dispatch system than with the Gilmore Bakersfield location. The truck transmission itself did not shift smoothly, would even vibrate heavily and then be fine.Daniel P.

Not sure who ran the place, could not get help checking out, rented a dolly and it was thrown in the front seat for no reason when cargo area was available. The check out process added additional 30 minutes to my time and delayed my scheduled move planDave M.

The reservation process was easy and excellent! The proprietor was very helpful in answering questions and made the process very easy. The pickup time was good and the truck was ready. The truck was new and clean and easily driveable! The drop-off was easy even though the shop was closed. A very good experience!don P.

This site was very confusing to where it was at, other than the address I did find it but not easily....they helped me and the lady did take my trailer and let me check it in after the 4:30pm time by about 5 minutes there....STEVEN R.
The Husband/Wife team at this location was outstanding. It was immediately apparent that the two had a passion for their business and their customer service was warm, loving, friendly, caring, and professional. I will recommend this location when appropriate. They did a GREAT job for me and I am totally satisfied with my experience there. The only thing that I dare to address is the condition of the office. Juanita (I think that was her hame) worked very well and she was totally efficient in her space. However, she deserves a space that is conducive to her efficiency. If the "higher ups" are actually reading this, then I say that you all pay for an office make over for this lady. She deserves it ten fold.stephen B.

I dropped off the uhaul when the store was closed, but I called the office and even though they were closed they answered and let me know what I needed to do. I did not go into the location.Sandra W.

My reservation was at 8am and the office was closed and no one showed up until around 8:25am. They couldn't find the keys to the moving truck nor print me off a receipt. I didn't get the keys and leave the location until after closer to 9am and my reservation was for 5 hours. When I returned the uhaul the office at 1:30 it was closed again so I left the keys in the drop box. I received a email receipt charging me over $100 for the uhaul when the original price was $52. I don't find it fair or correct to double the charge of the uhaul when the professionalism for this location was lacking.Maryah C.

Area confusing with many poorly maintained warehouses with many all renting haul. I was charged an extra day because I was 22 mins late because there no one readily available there to surrender the truck. He came 10mins after I attempted calling the contact number and debating if I should use drop box. Very helpful and nice but his outfit; wearing a torn shirt I was unsure if he was a staff there.LENITO N.
