Location was fine. U-Haul reservations on the other hand was terrible. I had 4 location changes - all because of U-Haul - and ultimately ended up not getting what I originally reserved. And the after hours checkin process and app are almost unusable.

My phone was dead, and having to have a phone was real real inconvenient, and the staff member was like welp, nothing I can do, figure it out. Very unhelpful. Also I parked that truck and dropped keys in the box before 5, and was charged an after hours fee.I took a photo of it safely parked because I had little trust based on my experience.

Truck did not have a ramp as expected. Nothing on website mentioned this. And this site didn't have any hand trunks. When I spoke to Robert, guy in office, he was unapologetic and said "I don't work for Uhaul." Also, because of their locatio, I had difficulty getting Internet to upload pic of my driver's license. Again, Robert was unapologetic and said if I couldn't get it to work, I couldn't rent thr truck. He was most unhelpful, with a "I don't give a dam" attitude.

The vehicle was substandard. When I exited the vehicle and left the keys in the truck, although the truck door was unlocked, the door was jammed shut and could not be opened. I had to slip 4 coat hanger wires together, and climb on a step ladder on the passenger side , through a slight opening in the window to pull open the door handle latch from the inside. Upon return of the vehicle, I brought it to the attention of the rental outlet person by the name of Shane, who confirmed the problem. No offer was made to make me whole in the area of a discount on a future rental, or the piece of junk rental that I rented, any type of discount on the bill.

The Uhaul location was good. Very quiet and easy in and out. I do have issues with UHaul Movers Help. We rented a truck and. paid for help that did not show up, so essentially, the truck rental was not used as intended. Moves Help is of no help, so we are not very happy!

I did have one issue. I purchased a round lock from the location. When I had finished loading the truck and went to lock it the lock would not fit. Just wondered why they would sell locks that would not fit the Uhaul truck.

Robert from Kingston Vault Storage did an outstanding job with communicating with me about updates for Uhaul and to pick the rental truck up at his location. He explained the contract completely.

Penske rental can do this for less than half of the U haul cost. Stop stealing from people. I went with U-Haul because my rental pickup place didn't show up for work. Nothing to do with Pensie

I am beyond angry and upset with my experience yesterday. I drove the truck 21 miles and I put in 2 gallons of gas in the tank. I did so because the gauge immediately dropped nearly a quarter tank as soon as I started driving it and decided just accept it. THEN, when I received my receipt, it said that I had been charged another $9.75 for extra gas - again for a 21 mile round trip!!! This is a scam and I will no longer used UHaul and this location in particular for any future needs. The attendant could not have been less interested. Given where gas prices are nowadays, to have UHaul play these types of games with gas gauges and charges is completely UNACCEPTABLE. It really isn't the $9.75 as much as the principle of the situation. This is not the way to do business!

Excellent experience from start to finish, I’m a healthcare executive and had schedule changes over three days. Your team, Nate specifically, helped me navigate through my reservation changes and provided great information on the safe trip program. I will recommend Uhaul over the competition to anyone needing assistance in moving due to the excellent service level provided by Nate and the Uhaul team. Have a safe and Happy Holiday Season.

The app-based truck share experience was horrible. U-Haul has a lot of work to do to make that tool intuitive and user friendly. I did not get the hand truck I selected to rent online, and that made the rental experience very negative... This is probably on U-Haul's system rather than the location, because I have had past experiences with equipment and material I ordered online being unavailable at the location.... U-Haul should fix their inventory management system.

I will never again use U-haul. I made a reservation 3 weeks prior. I go to pick up the truck just to be told they have no truck or reservation even though I gave them my confirmation number. After 5 hrs of trying to find a new truck as to which there were none I get a call saying we have a truck and found your reservation but it is smaller and 30 miles away. I pick up the truck but I still had to pay for the mileage from pickup and dropping it back off at the Kingston location which I had no control over. So basically I was ripped off an extra $100 because I was told my reservation wasn't there and had to go to a new location. It was my only option other than no Uhaul to move.

The truck was very easy to find and the mobile pick-up process was smooth. I interacted with one of the verification agents over chat and they were very polite and helpful. All in all, great experience!
