Other U Haul location was uncooperative so I called this place. It's a repair shop that also has U Haul. Van was clean (almost new) and the owner was super helpful as I had a voucher from last year for being overcharged at a Madison dealer. We got all done and the charges came out exactly as we predicted. My group delivers Christmas gifts to needy military and vets families all over WI so I put on 400 miles in an afternoon and will be renting from here every year.

The website is terribly glitchy. I have to call every time I need to do a rental or a change because it won’t go through on the website. Also, the online return system didn’t work with my phone and I didn’t know it until I tried to return it. If it doesn’t work, then I need to come back during business hours (too late at that point) and either incur a late fee or a $20 convenience fee for a $15 trailer. Oh, and to me “2 days” means 2 days, not just 48 hours, so I think that should be more specific on your site.

After trailer was picked up, it was discovered one of the tires was in very poor condition and bald. Dealer arranged for Uhaul service to call me and come and change the tire which was done very quickly, however, the trailer should have been inspected and tire issue found before I picked up. If I had to use immediately, I would not have been able to. Uhaul service (phone & on-site) was excellent.

The only comment I have is that I was charged for a dozen packing blankets and only got a half dozen. Otherwise it was a very good experience.

Owner was very friendly and kept typing while we chatted. He assisted all the customers from paperwork to helping to hooking up trailers. Excellent service !!

U-Haul reservation experience was horrific. Confirmation was not honored. Changed without noticed, and attempted to hide that a change was made. I consider it lucky I noticed and was able to address, which still took several days and more frustration that could have been avoided if U-Haul conducted business honestly and fairly. I would never recommend U-Haul to anyone based upon this experience, but Kerry's Vroom Service was awesome! U-Haul headaches were out of his control. U-Haul attempted to describe confirmation as a non-confirmation notice that a request was received. Took hours to understand it was an intentional policy of U-Haul which they handled is a disreputable and deceitful manner.

The furniture dolly was not in the truck, but I was still charged $7.00 for the rental. This location has no outdoor lighting, making the return at night dangerous. There is so much equipment (trailers, trucks, broken-down vehicles), and abrupt drops from pavement to dirt, that it is a serious safety hazard, especially in the dark. Additionally, the neighborhood is sketchy, and I did not feel safe in the dark without being able to watch my surroundings.

cost per mile is way too high I will never do that again. 70 cents a mile is a sham!!!! I had a flat tire and it took two and a half hours to get any assistance. and I had to wait approx 4 minutes before anyone can on line!!!

We did notice the Dolly’s security tag was broken. And it would have been nice if it was mentioned the text that I received while driving the uhaul needed to be filled out right away, by the time I stopped and clicked on it to fill it out it was timed out.

Made all the fees visible. I was charged for $14 (Safe move coverage) that I did not asked for. When I asked for the cost for the rental I was told $29.95 + $0.69/Miles and filled up back the gas tank.

This is the second time recently that I was not able to pick-up equipment at the location I chose and had to travel more than 30 minutes to get trailer. Even with discount it was an inconvenience. I will shop around going forward.

We reserved a U-haul from a location in Neenah. The date of the rental, we found out the location moved to a business that was almost 20 miles out of the way. A total of 40 miles all together just on the U-haul truck. That doesn't include the other vehicle that we had to bring along. Not only was it very time consuming but very expensive and inconvenient. When the transaction went through, we were charge for all the added miles and fuel. To add to that, we had put some gas in the tank before we returned it and then was charged for more gas. We contacted a U-haul regional manager named Kevin from Green Bay. He stated that he would look into it and get back to us. We tried several times and he never got back. We felt that we should only be charged for the in-town miles and fuel that we used. We have used our fair share of U-haul trucks and trailer in the past. We can't say that this is the first time that a situation like this happened. We rented a trailer in April of this year. We arrived at the location that we reserved it for. The nice lady there looked up our reservation and saw that it had been moved to a location that was 14 miles out of the area. The lady there was very nice and apologized over and over again. When we were done with it, we then had to bring it all the way back the facility out of town to avoid additional charges. We would love to continue to use your services in the future. We need this matter made right. Thanks!
