I returned my trunk at 1:57 pm. The sign on the door said open, but the door was locked. I was in a time church , so I had to login and do a self check in. I parked the truck in the closest legal spot to the office. As we were leaving, a car drove up. I asked if she were an employee. She barked, “why are you parked there?” I said it was the closest place and assumed they would want to inspect the truck before putting it into inventory. She again barked, “don't you see the other 2 trucks parked down the hill? It's “obvious that is where I should have parked.” I said it was not clear, and there were no instructions on where to park, other than make sure it is a legal spot. She then said she would move it, but charge me a “nice fee “ for having to do so. I was not about to allow her to do so. I got the keys back and moved the truck I was in no way pleased with her service or attitude. A modern day Tale of Two Cities.

The staff was very unprofessional. I was scheduled to pick up my truck at 11 but when I got there the store was closed. I called and came back at 11:45 and asked what happened and the lady at the desk gave me no explanation she just told me that I should have checked in online (my reservation was for in person check-in). When I told her that every time I have used U-Haul and tried to check in online I would have issues so I tried to save myself the hassle. She was very rude and had a dog in the store off leash! My truck had leaves in the back and old paper and receipts in the cab. I can get over the dirty truck but I cannot excuse rude behavior. I was trying to upload my drivers license and I followed the prompts correctly, I even made it to the confirmation screen saying that I submitted everything. When the lady at the front desk pulled up my account she said that my information was not uploaded. I figured something like this would happen considering I always have issues with the U-Haul website. I tried again and she got mad at me and told me she would not rent me the truck if I could not figure it out. She took it as far as to turn the screen at me and she hit the screen multiple times. I had to submit and resubmit my information four times. This lady kept saying it was my fault and I had to figure it out when clearly it was the website. My drop off time was at 4pm. I was done early and got back to the store at 3:30. She was literally on her way out. As I was walking up to the store she was lowering the blinds. This store needs new employees.

Truck was a bit dirty (windshield and inner cab) and the front-end was not aligned. The steering wheel was at 8 & 2 instead of 9 and 3. The alignment item was a problem during the drive 250 mile drive and probably cost more with mileage efficiency.

Truck was filthy. Very unfriendly, lazy staff. Office not easily marked or identified. Only went 10 miles and was charged $24.00 for fuel, which is ludicrous. Door handle of truck fell off when trying to roll down window. Very dissatisfied with this rental. Will never again be back and plan to contact corporate regarding this unacceptable experience. This place falls well below U-Haul standards and should not be an authorized rental location.

The cab smelled awful when I got the truck. I aired out the truck as much as possible while I had use of it but didn't help. Everything else was fine.

The wrong key was left in the pickup box. I had to wait for over 3 hours in the heat for someone to come only for the key to still not be available. The gentleman that came to help was awesome and cut a new key and was surprised that I was out there for so long. The wait caused me to fall behind schedule with the moving help team so I had to pay additional money out of pocket for more time. Then I dropped the truck off only to find out that they were surprised that it didn't break down on me. I have used U-Haul numerous times over the years to help people move, but after this experience, I doubt I'll ever use them again!

The instructions were not clear. We couldn't get into the gate to get the truck. Once we got the truck, we didn't have the appliances dolly we paid for. The back door wouldn't close properly either. This whole ordeal caused us to be late getting our property moved out when we had hired movers waiting.

Stop giving out the Wrong trucks, and when you do give out trucks make sure that they have gas in them so Customers shouldn't have to drive all over the place looking to get gas at four in the morning.. Then you guys want to charge them for over the mileage

The vehicle I was assigned was defective. Odometer didn't work, gas gauge didn't work and I drove it for 21 miles, tap up with 2 gallons and was charged for 7 gals plus a$30 gas service charge. Absolutely awful experience. I am now awaiting a response to my dispute of these ridiculous gas charges

Originally I made my reservation at another location then I got a text that said that my reservation was changed and to call them, so I did. They gave me the new location and when I arrived at the new location on the Saturday that I made the reservation for there was no one there and the gate was locked. We had a hard time getting help and when we finaly got to tal to the manager at that location he said that they should have explained to me that I needed a gate code and other instructions to get my reserved truck. No one explained anything thing to us when they changed the reservation and even though the manager did help us and we did get the reserved truck this was a very frustrating experience. We have never had this problem before and we always rent from U haul. Why did the original place make the reservation for a truck that they did not have?

The lady that worked up front was very nice and friendly so this in no way reflects on her. the truck was clean enough but really just too old and not in good running order. It was unable to go on the expressway since the transmission would shift down around 60 when going up a hill and never shift back into an overdrive gear. It also had a loud noise under load. Maybe exhaust maybe transmission, unsure. The steering was also very vague. The truck is just too old and worn out!!

I am 65+ yrs old. This UHaul online is absolutely horrible for persons of my age.! What ever happened to customer service and speaking to a human? Do not blame this on COVID. It looks like to me the UHaul personnel have gotten lazy, non caring and in humane to their fellow men. Especially on the weekends! There ARE still people out here that need one on one human interaction and help.

This was not my request pick-up location. The truck was behind a gate. The UHaul app was worthless. Had to call 3 different times. Worst experience I have ever had with UHaul. Of the 3 people I spoke to: 1. A guy who was somewhat helpful. 2. This lady was rude and has no business in customer service. 3. A young lady named Angel. Angel deserves a raise. If not for Angel, I don't think I would have ever gotten to the truck behind the gate. Thank you Angel. You saved a UHaul customer!
