A bit un-nerving when you call the person at the facility and they tell you to drop the trailer at the front of the building if it is after hours. She said it is okay to put it right in front of the building not behind the chain link fence. She also told us to take pictures of the trailer at the front and how clean it was inside as well as our truck and licence plate. So we did all that and called the next morning to make sure the trailer was put behind the chain link fence. She and told her what we had done: she said I don't remember that conversation and there is no trailer here. She then said maybe our security put it away as she had not been around to check. She did call back though and let us know the trailer was put away at the back and security must have done that.Don K.

In Calgary the guy went out of his way to help he hooked it up and checked everything. In Kelowna the parking lot is a too small and got no help to drop trailer.les P.

The initial reception was nice but then I was told bluntly my credit card had been declined for the pre-authorization, it had not there was a problem with the locations payment machines. I called my bank on speakerphone, who assured me I had funds available on my card and that I had already been charged the pre-authorization. The agent charged me a second pre-authorization, then forgot to give me the cart I had booked, I realized and returned to the location to pick it up. When I dropped off the van, I was then charged again the full amount to my CC, at this point, I had approximately $450 pending on my CC for a $150 van rental which was inconvenient. The location was nice, the van was in good shape, the experience was haphazard.Timothy M.
The parking lot for drop off if full of signs of where not to park including warnings of additional service fees for parking in the parking lot. This is extremely frustrating given the fact that no signs actually tell you where you SHOULD park.Elliot F.

I was given a truck at just under a quarter tank I returned the truck with the exact same amount of fuel and then was argued with over technically less than a 30 second of a tank of fuel and then charge $45 that's ridiculousHolz I.

Honestly our experience with u haul over the last few months has been awful, from rude, to lack knowledge of areas when calling, to drop off areas, harassment calls,, just bad experience all around in every area, but most importantly is customer service how was handled and still not well to unsafe vehicle and and service guy said came to home said shouldn't been driving mountain passes with tires, and have headlights not pointing where suppose to..lady on phone asking for pictures in daylight repeating from a paper questions how do you take pictures of headlights in day? You see from picture? We were in snow storm couldn't see road, had tire with leak and pressure light came on got that picture. To be hung up on say new location not listen to truck problems, while was verbally assaulted by man in location thatt we were told drop trailer off he said full not his problem meanwhile we asked in Kelowna if was closer one, next day get texts other locations its been awful. How improve Honestly you haven't fixed anything or offered nothing taken anything off....Have nice day make excuses doesn't do anything and when was verbally assaulted and calls still harassment saying need deal with it still and did with complaints department these people calling 3 days later....its almost police matter.....Laura D.

The 20 foot truck we had was a danger to drive as there was serious problems with the steering. It was even worse when we loaded it. Hopefully this unit will get repaired before it is rented again.ALLAN M.

While the facility staff was nice. I would rate the online portion 1 star. I wanted to pick up my trailer on enterprise but without asking for my consent, it tells me to pick up at the Findlay location. At the same time, my online status never changed to Findley location so I was confused on the day of. I needed up wasting time going to two places to pick up my trailer. Furthermore, I select the entire day and I was told to drop the trailer back at 3 because another person rented it, so uhual would have charged two ppl for the same day, so I felt cheated on that regard. only issue was that there was no windshield washer cleaner so I bought some on the road and refilled it. However, we didnt use much of it on the way and then there was none left near the end of the trip again so perhaps it had a leak in the resevoir. I mentioned this to the rental office who took note of it.Kim P.

At this location . . . Kelowna Self Storage Ltd 1606 Findlay Rd Kelowna, BC V1X6B8 . . . I got the best Customer service, that I have ever experienced with U-Haul. I've never hat trucks, that where so 100% clean and I rented a bunch of trucks in the past year, at different locations, but this location tops them all by miles. Also outstanding communication around availability of the trucks. I suggest don't go anywhere else.ULRICH B.

After-hours drop off, very easy to navigate. I also need to give feedback on the overall payment, which was extremely disorganized: We originally prepaid online and paid in full; GST tax was listed in the invoice but not charged, Safe Trip was ordered but not charged, and PST tax wasn't at all listed on the receipt. When we went to pick up, Safe Trip and GST/PST were charged, but the system didn't charge us for the extra day we'd asked for, and then it was only on dropping off the truck that the extra day was charged. As a result we ended up with the charges scattered across 3 different bills, and I had to spend an hour and half on the phone to try to understand why we were being charged again and again.William T.
This trailer was rented for the sole purpose of moving furniture to another city in BC, upon pick up it was noted that there was exterior damage ,dirt and tree debris in the compartment. When hooked up to our Dodge 3500 one ton truck the clearance lights on drivers side and tail lights were not operational. When we arrived at our destination 4 hours away the trailer had a significant amount of water that had leaked through the front of the trailer, this was the same issue on the return trip. When we returned the trailer the attendant took photos of the wet and dirty interior and informed us that no credit or discount was available at their level, Uhaul would need to compensate for this directly . We have several more trips to make ,the trailer size was appropriate, we would like to rent from Uhaul again as the pick up and drop off location work well for us, but would appreciate a clean ,well maintained and leak prook compartment in which to haul our furniture.
