I rented the truck from one location, they were out of what I wanted so my reservation was moved to another. I didn't get contacted about the location change. When interacting with the staff I was made to feel like I was bothering them, and I was the only one there. I will be going to Enterprise from now on. They are always friendly no matter how busy they are.Cathy Z.

Tony and Alex were on it. The communication was great. The process to rent, pickup and drop off was fast and efficient unlike other U-Haul locations. Originally I was worried that a truck might not even be available due to the number of people leaving the state of California and not returning. I was very surprised to see the truck at the time of pick up. Not only was it in fantastic shape it was brand new with only 88 miles. When I did my reservation online, it was indicated that I am able to self pick-up at 9:30AM, and even got the call from a representative saying that I could using the app. Upon arrival, I tried to do the self pick-up using the app and the app indicated that I could pick up the truck at 11:00AM when the store opens. If waiting for 1.5 hours is not enough, we got a phone call from the store saying we have to return the truck at 1:30PM, since we can only have the truck for 4 hours. They made the start time from 9:30AM, not 11:00AM. Good thing we did not need the truck for 4 hours and was able to return around 2:30PM.William C.

I'd reserved a furniture dolly and moving blankets along with the truck, well in advance. Was told the dolly and blankets are not guaranteed to be available and the amount of blankets I reserved were in fact not available. When I asked what good is a reservation and was told the only thing guaranteed to be available is the truck.William B.

Though the truck was clean, I found the price of the mileage very high. I was charged $40 for the mileage and wasn't given a discount for returning the truck in 2 1/2 hours. You can't leave your car in the lot, you need to have someone drop you off as they have a parking rule (10 minute parking).Carmen W.

Inform the local staff on uhaul policies. I arrived and followed the uhaul no-contact instructions that i were sent to me, uploading my id, locating the right truck, and beginning to chat with the online representative, only to have the local staff come out and tell me that i was in the wrong for doing exactly what uhaul told me to do. Instead she made me go into the office and repeat the process, completely disregarding everything sent to me by uhaul. She was rude and condescending. She told me i could not use the furniture pads because of covid but could not answer if i had paid for the pads, if that fee would go away. Then she gave me a truck telling me there was 1/4 tank of gas and acted as though that was acceptable condition to give a vehicle. When i got in the truck i found that it was somewhere between 1/8 and 1/4 so the gas level was overstated even at that low level. My interactions with the national uhaul representatives were excellent, but my interaction with this local office was very unpleasant and i will not be recommending or using uhaul in the future as a result.John Z.
The manager Alex Ballesteros wa not on the same page with the person that I contacted over the phone. There were uncertain rules or specifications to the te rental agreement that we're miss understood, or not properly described One item was the insurance that I have , would not cover the rental , per Alex. There were other disputes at pick up. It's doesn't matter. I feel that Alex could have handled the situation a lot more professionally. She was rude. Alex refused to accept responsibility for the UHaul complany , telling me that she was not the one that made the reservation. To imply that it had nothing to do with her. I feel that U haul should do a better job of getting all of the employees on the same page. That u haul should train the employees to not leave any information out. explained fully and completely. The person I talked to over the phone and made the reservation was polite. The reservation es made for the next size van. Not the smallest available. But Alex said she did not have the one that I had reserved for. So something went in error.Carlos D.
