This was a horrible experience that I have ever encountered with U-Haul. This was due when returning the truck and got into a confrontation with the so-called owner who was definitely not professional whatsoever. Never going to that location ever again. This store needs to be reviewed by the U-Haul corporation.Tonya G.

Make sure when you schedule someone using the app, they are told where you are sending them to pick up the truck and trailer it is self serve and explain what that means. I'm 62 years old and did not get any help from Kay-Mart employee hooking up the trailer to the truck. I've called customer service and was told the area manager would call me in 2-3 days, so far nobody at U-Haul seems to care about customer service.FREDRICK C.

The uhaul wasn't returned by the previous customer, which means you shouldn't guarantee it. I had to wait an additional 20 minutes before I could get a truck from a different location. I was never given the $50 reservation guarantee and I had to pay more money because the only truck available was a 26', which is way bigger than what I originally reserved for.ARSHYLLE V.

Have the appropriate equipment and don't have your leasing people harrass you during a local moving experience. Also, quit lieing about your "$19.95" rate when it costed me almost $100 for 24 hours and 32 miles. Complete scam. I will go public with this as well, unless you refund my money. Be more knowledgeable on if your equipment will work for what the customer is needing to rent it for. I rented a auto transport and was told it would work for what I needed it for, but it didn't. Now I'm out almost 100.00 and it doesn't look like a refund is going to be happening.Kim H.

I am not happy with the location I was sent to at all. The service was terrible. The car carrier strap was broken that you tried to rent me and was tied together. I took pictures and if that gets rented to someone and it brakes I will have a visual record. I have rented from u-haul in the past and had no problems. This was not a good experience at all. I should be reimbursed for at least one of my days. The passenger yellow light was in plugged I finally got that fixed. The electrical connector was laying in the mud. I had to clean it to use it. The later I had to get cotton qtips to stick inside because the left turn signal was failing. I will never rent from that location ever again. I have to transport a vehicle at least once a month. I will not be using the Kay Mart location ever. You can contact me if you want copies of the pictures. But I am probably going to add them to a google review so it will be documented if someone gets hurt or killed by the rental of broken equipment.JERRY M.

Bring boots, area is muddy. The trailer was extremely old, it was swept out, but looked like it was about to fall apart. It had nothing to do with being maintained, it just was extremely old. I was afraid it would fall apart on the road. I drove slow in the far right lane. Worker at the store could not come out of the store & look at an issue we had with the trailer.Kathleen B.

Sent me across town to this run down place where they gave me an old piece of junk that towed crooked and was embarrassing to use. Will not use this place again. We were charged 1.96 for going 4 miles over but the truck had a full tank of gas. We only had to put half a tank of gas as that was what was in it when we picked it up. We should have received a refund for half a tank of gas instead of having to pay for an extra 4 miles.William F.

Poor help getting set up with Uhaul and had to call Uhaul and do my paper work over the phone. I had done pre check in on line but the location didn't seem to know how to finish the check in. Then there was no one to hook my trailer up so I had to do it myself. I am 72 years old and would have thought they could have hooked it for me . I will nwber use this location again.Marvin B.

Remove this location from your rental pickup and drop off. It's literally a ghetto gaming/gambling room/gas station. The guy didn't want to leave the cash register to confirm my rental vehicles mileage because he was afraid of being robbed by his gambling customers. This was not the location I had picked and the rental pick up location had changed to this location without my knowledge. It did not appears to be in the best part of town and there were bars on the windows of the convenience store. Luckily I dropped it off in the morning as I would not have wanted to be there in the middle of the night. Person helping me was friendly and the procedure was quick and no snags.Shao C.
I rated the Equipment clean/maintained question negatively negatively because the lug nuts were severely corroded to point where a flat would be impossible to change on road. This condition would have resulted in my having to unload the cargo and reload on side of road if a flat occurred. Other than that, trailer was clean.Tad L.

I use uhaul a lot and first they charged my accout..so almost $70 is being held til who knows when(usually this doesnt happen)..THEN they turned around and charged another card THANK GOD I HAD THE MONEY TO COVER 2 PURCHASES..AND WHETHER I GET THE MONEYBACK OR NOT..I AM CURRENTLY OUT ALMOST $150.00 AND MY INITIAL EXPERIENCE THIS MORNING I WONT SEE THAT MONEY for a couple days ..so over $200.00 LATER..NO I AM NOT HAPPYLisa G.

Trailer was very old and used. My online checkin did not register and we had to go through the entire checkin again (photo of DL). Overall trailer did fine. Tires were fine. I prefer the main I45 office better than this small gas station office. Couldn't believe that 4x8 trailer was not available at any other location.John P.

I have no complaints about the place where I picked up my Uhaul. But I do have a complaint about the scheduling service you guys provided. First y'all wanted me to go pick up my Uhaul all the way to Spring Tx. I tried telling your scheduling department that there was a big Uhaul rental place right across 45 interstate highway from where my daughters apartment was, which is where we were going to be moving from. Then when I called and talked to someone they set me up for a pick up at feed store in the middle of CONROE on Main st. I asked the guy on the phone why can't I just get set up for the place there on 45? They have a lot of big vans like the one I need. He told they might not be available for the day that I needed! I said fine! So yesterday we my family drove all the way to Conroe from Livingston to the feed store to pickup our rental. There was nothing there! My wife and I came in there and gave the girl the info and she tells us they don't have any Uhaul's at the moment. So she gets on the phone and calls scheduling again and that's where they sent us to the other side of town to pickup the uhaul once more delaying our move! So yes I'm very disappointed with this Uhaul rental and don't think I would ever recommend or rent another one again for the price that I paid!
Both locations seemed poorly trained. My contract states that I was to receive $75 return from my deposit and Safal just seems like he didn't want to give me my refund and just convoluted the process by blame shifting the responsibility to the location of origin. I had until Dec 16 11AM to return the auto hauler. I returned it Dec 15 9:30PM. RENTAL deposit stated in contract was $75 and somehow that got shaved down to $43.
