My target location is a u-haul site, but wasn't on the return list. There was another u-haul depot just west of where we were in Montgomery, but again not on the list. What was on the list were all 12-15 miles away.Richard M.
I thought I had made a reservation Monday, June 12 for a Wednesday, June 14, 800 AM pickup. When I arrived they apparently had no record of the reservation. I went through the application against n and rented and used the vehicle with no other issues. My complaint is that after at least half an hour taking my information there was no record when I arrived to pickup my vehicle. It may be because someone was confused as the UHaul records had me at a different address. I might think that UHaul would accept reservations from a previous client and might offer a better explanation. It was a good rental, just a problem with the reservation Regards Marc MyersMarc M.

Very poor customer service at this location. No one answers the phone. I chose this location because I just wanted to go to a counter, return the keys to a human, then be done. Wrong. They do not answer the phone (after4 unanswered phone calls, literally called the main Uhaul 800 number to verify if this store was still in business ). Finally got there, and the guy refused to check in my truck. He forced me to do it myself through the web site. I was tired and really just wanted to hand it off and goâ€¦ the fact that he refused to check it in really annoyed me.Christian D.

The uhaul rained in the inside for my whole 3 hour trip! I was soak and wet the entire time. I called customer service to get a refund but I was told the information was in the system and the location would take care of it! I drove past 5 U-haul locations to get to this one, this for increasing my mileage by 16 miles (which put me over mileage) and using gas. This is unacceptable and a practice that is quasi unethical. Very disappointedROBERT M.

The survey rating above is for the Natchez, Ms drop off location. I cannot answer any question about Conroe, Tx because I did not rent trailer AV5214C. I rented Trailer AV6762C. The technician at the Slidell, La location caused a lot of confusion because he did not do his job! The drop off location technician at the Natchez, Ms location was very courteous and knowledgeable of his job. The technician at the Natchez, ms location corrected the problem that Slidell, La location created. The drop off location in Natchez, ms was clean and orderly.Tony T.

When I went to drop off the truck, the employee inside wouldn't check me in. Told me I had to use the 24/7 check in, which I didn't want to use & would not work for me. I had to come back the next day to get the truck checked in. The next day that employee checked in two other pieces of equipment before me, I was the only one there.Kelly B.
It was the location in Brookshire ,Tx..The wrong size trailer was reserved there,I had to drive 2 1/2 hr through Houston rush hr 5:30pm didn't get to Conroe 8pm then had to drive back .,which was about 9:30pm and was not able to load the car , it was today to late in the day.ARTHUR L.

Could not locate my online reservation. Perhaps I failed to save it properly but he was eager and helpful to fulfill my UHaul needs. Within 10 minutes he had assisted me and I was on my way. Friendly and helpful. Very good!Matt H.
This was the dirtiest truck I've ever used from U-Haul... disgusting! I was concerned about returning it dirty so I vacuumed the cab out and used an automotive cleaner/spray to finish the job. Swept out the back as well, as previous renter obviously did not do it (as required). Transmission light was on the entire day...BERNIE R.
Our first pickup place the trailer was hooked up lights would not work then they shorted out our lights could not get things to work they kept trying to get us to take a bigger trailer that we didn't need so then we were sent to this location although the employees were great and respectful and helpful the trailer we got was very old and dated took us over 2 hours of our time to finally end up with a trailer that we had booked 4 days earlierRICHARD W.

This was one of the worst experience we've ever had. Not only did our reservation â€œget lostâ€ after Uhaul called the day before to confirm everything but we also didn't get any of the equipment or padding we requested and ended up paying over $100 more than what we were told WITHOUT all of the things we needed. Needless to say I will not be using Uhaul again. This whole experience made our move across the state extremely more stressful and tiring than it should have been.JOHN S.

The trucks were old not in good condition to make a 1500 mile trip for the size I requested. The interior was dirty mud inside and out. The tires were worn to the point of concern a r did not rent that truck. I had to replace the wiper blades they were so bad. The truck I did rent did not have a full tank of gas, I had to back up and connect thr transport trailer from the mud and make all the connections. It was the worst service I ever had. I will second guess my rental choice especially when spending $2000. Very dissatisfied customer. You need to do a better job at qualifying your sites. Also I had to check all the tire pressures which were low but had no way to inflate to 90 psi so left them at 70.SCOTT F.

The issue wasn't with the equipment nor the facilities. The pricing was the issue. Uhaul charged me for an extra day when I was under the understanding that when I paid for a day it was the 24 hour period. Just goes to show that uhaul is the lowest budget rental company and you get what you pay for...uhaul has been this way since day 1...Charles G.

I am used to having U-Haul reps check my rental out when I return it - they do not do that at this ;location. You have to go on-line, take pictures of the truck or whatever you rented and send them inn to some U-Haul office located who knows where. This was a horrible experience that I have ever encountered with U-Haul. This was due when returning the truck and got into a confrontation with the so-called owner who was definitely not professional whatsoever. Never going to that location ever again. Make sure when you schedule someone using the app, they are told where you are sending them to pick up the truck and trailer it is self serve and explain what that means. I'm 62 years old and did not get any help from Kay-Mart employee hooking up the trailer to the truck. I've called customer service and was told the area manager would call me in 2-3 days, so far nobody at U-Haul seems to care about customer service.FREDRICK C.

The uhaul wasn't returned by the previous customer, which means you shouldn't guarantee it. I had to wait an additional 20 minutes before I could get a truck from a different location. I was never given the $50 reservation guarantee and I had to pay more money because the only truck available was a 26', which is way bigger than what I originally reserved for.ARSHYLLE V.

Have the appropriate equipment and don't have your leasing people harrass you during a local moving experience. Also, quit lieing about your "$19.95" rate when it costed me almost $100 for 24 hours and 32 miles. Complete scam. I will go public with this as well, unless you refund my money. Be more knowledgeable on if your equipment will work for what the customer is needing to rent it for. I rented a auto transport and was told it would work for what I needed it for, but it didn't. Now I'm out almost 100.00 and it doesn't look like a refund is going to be happening.Kim H.

I am not happy with the location I was sent to at all. The service was terrible. The car carrier strap was broken that you tried to rent me and was tied together. I took pictures and if that gets rented to someone and it brakes I will have a visual record. I have rented from u-haul in the past and had no problems. This was not a good experience at all. I should be reimbursed for at least one of my days. The passenger yellow light was in plugged I finally got that fixed. The electrical connector was laying in the mud. I had to clean it to use it. The later I had to get cotton qtips to stick inside because the left turn signal was failing. I will never rent from that location ever again. I have to transport a vehicle at least once a month. I will not be using the Kay Mart location ever. You can contact me if you want copies of the pictures. But I am probably going to add them to a google review so it will be documented if someone gets hurt or killed by the rental of broken equipment.JERRY M.

Bring boots, area is muddy. The trailer was extremely old, it was swept out, but looked like it was about to fall apart. It had nothing to do with being maintained, it just was extremely old. I was afraid it would fall apart on the road. I drove slow in the far right lane. Worker at the store could not come out of the store & look at an issue we had with the trailer.Kathleen B.
