I was alittle confused about the 8hr verses 24hr rental.Agent asked if i wanted 8hr rental then said truck to b bac in 24hrs.Uhaul email said truck to b bac in 7hrs. ?????

I requested a van in Morrisville as the website showed they had them, only to find out I had to drive to Berlin to get a van. I attempted to change the location to Morrisville with which I received a phone call stating I had to go to Berlin because Morrisville didn't carry vans. Phone customer service could be improved upon.

Jim, the owner/proprietor is always extremely friendly and helpful. This is the third time I have rented from him and I would do so again.

The rules about rental options were not explained very clearly. I did not think the attendant was trying to help me find the most economical way to do my rental or explained to me the costs associated with various options. I did not know that a one-way rental entailed a two-day fee, or that drop-off after hours would entail a fee. It is probably corporate policy to hide those pieces of information, which is a bad corporate policy with regard to customer service.

I called the number provided (and 2 other numbers I had to search for associated with the location) and nobody picked up. I then had to disconnect it myself which was difficult as I was on my own. I was very frustrated and if a location is going to be closed then I should be alerted. And, quite frankly, I feel I should be discounted for nobody being present at my location during business hours.

Trailer running lights did not work. Wiring had a shortage in trailer which needs to be addressed. I feel that the over all value for the money that I spent was poor. I rented an auto transport trailer and it cost me over $600 by the time it was all said and done. I was not compensated for my lost time and I actually had to purchase magnetic tow lights from Harbor freight for $35. I called customer service and after being transferred a few times I was able to get an extra day for my Inconvenience, how ever I lost two days because I could not safely drive at night costing me two overnight stats in a hotel totaling $200. In the future I would not rent from U-Haul and I would seek alternative services.

I was able to make this reservation on a relatively short notice. When I arrived at location the paperwork and van were ready to go. Great customer service!

Other than the fact that we returned the trailer two days earlier than expected and was not refunded for the two days we did not need the trailer, I guess it went well. Trailer was quite dirty when we picked it up. We made sure we returned it cleaner than we got it.
